Not very technical. Download and run cryo utilities and change the vram from 1gb to 4gb in the bios.
Running cyro utilities has solved the crashing issue when teleporting into towns/outposts etc, the load times can be slower but overall it completely solved the issue for me 👍
I've tried setting it up unsuccessfully, I'll try again.
Glad they are aware of the crashing on steam deck, hope they are able to fix it soon. Bought this game recently and I’ve been having a lot of fun but the town login crashing is making things unplayable for me now that I’m getting a little farther in the game.
I have a Legion Go and was waiting for the controller support. Might download and check it out. Not unless someone has already tried it, let me know.
Looking for your feedback on locking artifacts behind trials that require tuning orbs. My understanding was that the Devs didn't want keys to exist hence they ditched them for expeditions. I can't upgrade Sin because I can't make a prospector's orb (and can't buy one). What's the best way to tell New World to get rid of keys?
When I tried it as soon as I get to the first main city the game crashed and I couldn’t log back in with that character
I've tried playing new world on steamdeck so many times, but I keep getting hit with connection errors. Seems like you can only play on New World if you live in specific regions and/or you're on specific networks.
This is my issue , never could get it to work
Mine has been good but now the last day or two I load up the game and hit continue on my character and it constantly crashes on the first load in screen and I cant seem to get past that, any ideas.....?
Are ya running cryo utilities and have increased your vram from 1 to 4 GB in the bios?

The last thing I want to see in the new world is a steam deck 😅 even controller support isn't good yet
on my ROG Ally z1 extreme it doesn't have the town issues mentioned, not sure if its because its windows 11 v linux or something like that but havent had issues or i'm just lucky

It's because the automatic VRAM allocation for this game on steamdeck is trash... It needs cryoutilities with 4gb of VRAM allocation to fix most game crashes... But it eats up storage and some games actually play worse with it installed.
So instead of making the game more playable, they make it more accessible. ...
the native controls are trash, urs are better for solid combat purposes, how to earn money in this game, all vids are wrong, it's like working in an amazon warehouse within the game
