Pro tip, record yourself figuring it out so you don't have to say "trust me, it will work" or "trust me, it will be there" cause a tutorial feels more like a tutorial when you see them install it too.
@@silentdenizen6903 yk i just commented so the guy who made the video sees that this was perfectly enough for a tutorial for 99% percent of ppl :) i found it curious that anyone would consider this a bad tutorial. it helped me and was definitely thorough enough for anyone that has ever touched a pc in their life before. thats my opinion. so good job Mods on Steam Deck. Been playing pokemmo for over a year now, ordered a steam deck so i could play things like call of duty warzone and final fantasy online when i’m not at home with my ps5. Can’t wait to get pokemmo on my steam deck and other games that aren’t on consoles. Might get a dock for my steam deck so i could play pokemmo on the tv 😮😅
Can you please make a tutorial on how to install mods on steamdeck? Cause everytime I click import mod the whole client freezes and clicking open mods folder does nothing also I'm having a hard time finding the install location of the game on steam decl
@@ModsOnSteamDeck I got it to work with the flatpak thankfully but yes I swear it didn’t pop up when I looked up the term Pokemmo wit a capital P or not
When i switch to gaming mode it doesn’t let me sign in but it does on desktop mode, it also says I don’t have roms installed on game mode but i have on desktop mode 😭
I set it up on my pc first them used warpinator to transfer the whole pokemmo folder from programe files onto deck. I added a fresh comment on how I managed it

what about this was so hard that you needed him pressing 2 additional buttons for you to figure it out

did you have any issues adding mods? Everytime I try to import mod the game freezes
I didn't have any trouble - just make sure you're adding them to the correct folder. UI mods and other mods will use different folders

How do I make it look good in gaming mode the way u have it? Everything works but it's just the blank generic header and icon in gaming mode for me
Oh you mean the thumbnail and artwork? You need to install Decky Loader along with SteamGridDB (which is a Decky loader plugin)

What do you mean point the roms to the launcher?
You just add the roms to the game by clicking on the text

Sound not working
Go into desktop mode, launch the game, and make sure nothing is muted in the sound / mix settings.
For some reason it doesn't show up on the discover store. And having no luck either the flatpack either so I'm stuck in an endless cycle
