How to make Lemon Sour Cream Cake

- Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour
1 lg box instant lemon pudding
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 baking soda
1 1/2 cups butter softened
2 3/4 cups granulated sugar
6 large eggs
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 8 oz container sour cream
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp fresh lemon zest
Glaze drizzle topping:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp butter melted
MESSAGE: THIS CAKE IS GREAT FOR LONG TERM STORAGE AT LEAST 2 1/2 MONTHS

Do follow Chris's method for wrapping the cake for freezing the cake and use this technique for other food as it is the way to keep them frozen and fresher for longer periods of time. I worked in restaurants and for caters during college and they use this technique. She knows what she is doing!!!

Mrs. Chris I have a question, how far in advance can I make sweet potato pie filling? Would I refrigerate it or freeze it?
I refrigerate 5 days out 😮and I bake them. They are the first items Thanksgiving day in the oven at 7/8 am. I will be mixing up and posting the mix I use Saturday.

Your mix is the ONLY one I have ever used for my sweet potato pies and my family loves it. Thank you for sharing your amazing recipes!!!
