Dime and Vinny were two rock stars that didn't act like rock stars. They were amazing down to earth people who loved mingling with the fans. I saw them live twice and both times they hung out with the fans outside by the tour bus. Just laughing, joking and having a few drinks with us. They are sadly missed.

You could definitely make a Pantera workout playlist out of their catalog and you could even break it into workout categories. When this came out we're just a bunch of Meatheads in a garage with a heavy bag and speed bag and a and a bench and some dumbbells but we would hit it hard. Play some Pantera do some deadlifting clean and jerk. And just beat the snot out of a heavy bag. I would kill to have half that energy today😂😂😂 peace-and-love guys. Five Minutes Alone. It's Electric. I'm broken that's really cool the videos like a music video and a behind-the-scenes music video all the same time. Revolution is my name that's a pretty good video pretty good song I could keep going

Pantera wasn't actually 'very big' here. That's what makes this so special for them. They were the opener, the other bands, The Black Crowes, Metallica, and AC/DC were certainly big, but Pantera wasn't yet. Only their first label released album was out at this point.

First reaction video of Domination where the reactors haven't been overwhelmed by the size of the crowd...This was the 1991 Monsters of Rock tour (Metallica and The Black Crows also part of the line-up)and was in Moscow, Russia shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union...apparently, there were upwards of 1.5m people in attendance...absolutely wild and Pantera killed it, I actually prefer this live version over the Vulgar Display of Power recording!

I've watched a lot of reactions to this song. I think it's a combination of the speed of this song, the sheer AMOUNT of words he's saying in such a short time, and his Louisiana accent that makes it hard for first time listeners to understand Phil on first blush. Once you get it, though, you can understand him pretty easily. Try Cemetery Gates if you wanna hear a different vocal from Ol Phil. He's not a one trick pony. He also is a man of many bands, if you wanna hear what that incredible voice sounds like over other kinds of music.
That solo blows the socks off everyone. Inspired many a guitarist with that one, Dimebag did.

Pantera was the biggest metal band of the 90's. Their southern influence created "groove metal" which is what you heard at the end but their influences in thrash metal, which is more the first half is always present in their music. The guitarist Dimebag Darrell is considered one of the greatest metal guitarist of all time and his influence is still heard from bands today. Go down this rabbit hole. You won't be disappointed!
