I've been using them since 1986' still have 2 on one of my boards from back then' no problems out of them except the pads are wore out from stepping on them' still have 4 new' never used ones from back then in the box from when I worked at the local music store in my home town.

Can it create a stutter prodigy sound? Example : Prodigy - Medicine 0:56-1:03

In theory it can, but I think achieving that effect depends more on the kind of sound you put into it.
