    Hey man, absolutely love this video! This is the only decent video I found explaining the Tap Tempo function :) The literature with the pedal is okay, but this seems more functional/applicable. Thanks, & keep 'em coming!

    Thanks for the demo, Kennis. I just bought a DD-7 and I was unclear about some of the features, but now it's all clear.

      Didn't you think to look at the manual on the Boss website?

    First, I own this pedal. I was looking for a demo of how best to use the expression/ tap temp foot-switch pedal combo... For a 16 min vid, each breakdown of this pedal's features are great.

    Sweet, got this pedal for $15! The manual was a bit confusing with the Mode dial. Especially handy with the loop.

    i seen this pedal listed for 150, not exactly cheap for a 7 year old pedal.
    it was actually pretty decent when i checked one out in person,
    but it gets a little overwhelming with how much they managed to pack so much into it.
    it's not too hard to figure out, but some people aren't the biggest fan of too many buttons.
    id say this pedal is more for somebody that wants a bunch of different effects on one pedal.
    it's nice you get different options, but i noticed when they do multi effects pedals they can sometimes be difficult to work with.
    Boss is known for making quality products, but there bread and butter to me has always been there overdrive and blues pedals. i like a few of there reverb pedals,
    but when it comes to delay i go to others that are better in that area.

    my check indicator light is red.. what does that mean? I have it plugged into AC and no battery installed? I'm thinking that is the reason.

    Hi. I've had this pedal for quite sometime and was working great. But it has stopped functioning suddenly. Can u please give some hints as to how it can be fixed. Thank u.

    So to get dotted 8ths, I don't actually have to understand them or keep them "in my head", I just set it on the 800ms and tap quarter-notes? I can't do polyrhythms in my head.

    IMHO the rate input would be much more functional if it took a tap tempo switch!

    • @MARIO.GUITAR

      Totally agree, it's set too fast and you can't tweak it.

      it does take a tap tempo switch though.

    Excellent review
    This was a purchase consideration but the analogue Waza pedal just got me sold - found the DD7 too synthesised- IMHO dd7 is more versatile and jack of all trades but is master of none ....

    So do you NEED that extra foot switch to do use the tap tempo feature? Do you have to do anything with the software on a computer to make it work properly like some pedals do?

    What's the difference between the DD7 and the DD8? delays?

    • @tomasorrtiz
      @tomasorrtiz 3 роки тому +1

      Dd8 has more modes. Tape, reverb, reverse, Shimmer. Dd7 seems More practical. Both have a 40s looper. Also I have not found a way to set dotted Delay on dd8. But the 800ms on the dd7, is Instant and easy

    You can’t do this with the F5-5L?

    • @aiden_james_music
      @aiden_james_music 3 роки тому +1

      no, the FS-5L is a latching foot-switch, you need a non-latching one for tap tempo, like the FS-5U. Hope this helps :)
