Imagine if you will, your playing yakuza 5 for the first time and you start of with Kiryu. You have a job as a taxi driver and you can get into high speed street races with a gang, and then you move on to Saejima who has a hunting side mission where you can fist fight a fucking bear....and then you get to Haruka and wonder what the hell her gameplay is gonna be. And it’s dancing. And you think to yourself “I shouldn’t be surprised...this is how yakuza works

When i first played this masterpiece, i remember that at 1:53 i was so hyped about that heat action that i was jumping in my chair, i dont know why i was so hyped, probably because i was felling like a proud father after having to take care of haruka from yakuza 1 to 4 and to see how old she got, hope this is how i feel when one day i get a son
MVP of the Princess League was Yoko the wardrobe mentor. Songs were the same, choreography was the same, but Haruka had some fresh threads that transformed mid song while T-Set wore the same kawaii goth outfit every performance.
Why would you hum this? When you could take the role of Akiyama, Kiryu, Shinada, and Saejima and shout you interjections. Like for example, “Taxi Taxi’ and “Oh! Rouge of Love”. Don’t forget the “Oi”’s.

@@JTtheReptile Well, there's 6 which is even more emotionally draining. Which is why I'm glad 7 is as goofy as it is. Not much of a fan of turn-based combat, but Ichiban and co. is such a refreshing cast after the emotional rollercoaster of 5 and 6.
This was honestly one of the best parts of Y5 for me. No convoluted Illuminati level conspiracy, just a simple and fun rhythm game with some absolute banger songs to enjoy for a while. Perfect change of pace to refresh you for the rest of the game.

Gives this feeling of hype for me fsr. I can imagine it cutting to the other respective characters' final boss fights as her performance continues.

I just got to Haruka’s part in Yakuza 5, I can see why cheering for an idol is fun now.
I’m gonna be honest, the first time I played 5, I kind of rushed the story a bit so I could get to the idol gameplay that Haruka had.
