I listened to it on cassette in about 1995. Took it out of my Dad's cassette briefcase and listened on my Fischer Price. He had bought the vinyl when it first came out. Love that record.
Aykroyd actually did play the Ventures The 2000 Pound Bee at Belushi's funeral. And he rode his Harley in the funeral procession. What a pair they were.
Tbey warmed up for The Grateful Dead and Steve Martin but it wasnt for Steve Martin in 1979 .... I saw Steve Martin in 1979 I was 10 years old and the warm up act was his film The Absent Minded Waiter ...
I was at the Universal Amphitheater that night. Impossible to believe it was nearly 45 years ago. Wish there was a video.
Was that when they opened for Steve Martin?

...so much of the music we hear today is preprogrammed electronic disco we never get a chance to hear master bluesmen practicing their craft anymore.
Andrew Poole then you might like what I do:)
Nothing programmed, it takes a lot of skill to make good electronic music. You can enjoy one type of music without putting another down :P
@@OriginalMooMix That's why people who make real electronic music use analog synthesizers.
