WInter Sprints - Race 2 - 2024

Winter Sprint Series 2024 - Four weekly races - most points at the end wins - every Saturday afternoon.
Glendowie College in Auckland's east suburbs - smaller school, but lots of room for intricacy and mistakes.. as I found out..
Beautiful winter Saturday evening - shame about my orienteering tonight. I was the planner and set up a few traps - and I fell into my own trap and missed control 5 completely...Oh well - just a non-competitive run for me..lucky race points don't count for the planners... shame .. would have been a good time.
Course 1 - 3.3 km, 21 controls. Thanks to Joanna and Alistair, and of course AOC for organising.

@MPOrienteering , I was too relaxed (this race wouldn't count for points for me because I was the course setter - which makes my mispunch worse).. I think I do better with more pressure - but yeah, small school and lines everywhere. :)
