Winter Sprints pre-season - 2024

- Macleans College - in Auckland's Eastern Suburbs, Macleans is one of the largest schools in New Zealand - it certainly has some of the best views - out over the Waitemata Harbour and Rangitoto Island. A great sprint location.
This race is the first of 5 in the Winter Sprint Series. A bit special because the planner added some off-road and bush for a challenge on top of the normal sprint course. Pretty spikey stuff today in the green - made a wrong turn to control 15, otherwise pretty clean - 3rd today. This was a really fun event - trying to catch my sons - unsuccessfully as it happens.

@connorward4665 - best places are the Club webpages - they also all have Facebook and Instagram groups, but the webpages have the calendars of events :)

@@UrbanOrienteering Yeah, both cases wrong control location - I suspect the tracks were much more overgrown than expected - you can see when I'm going to 11 (same control) that I'm looking for the track entrance and it doesn't seem to exist.
