now that i think about it.... one major reason i can stick to pgr for this long is because i know what the game will offer several patches ahead. i have played quite a few gacha games, but i did not last long before quitting. in the current pgr, i can hold my excitement and expectations because i can look forward to certain patches. however, once synced, then that excitement will be lost.
imo its the opposite. theres no surprise when you know everything thats coming, still exciting but not as hype. and the hype for brand new characters on the cn side is a little weird since you wont get them for a year anyways
maybe it is exciting not knowing much.... but later, when you find out that there is a better character or someone you simply like more a couple of patches later, then you can get depressed after using up your limited resources. if i had the money to burn, then of course, this would not matter.
@ pgr gives you enough pulls to get every character at a minimum and probably enough for weapons for at least your favorites. unless youre going for extra copies, which aren’t necessary, it doesnt much matter

The expense of the packs is far too much, most light spenders I have seen are also complaining about this and sending kuro feedback. If this synchronization plan is done wrong it will absolutely lead to the game making a lot less revenue.
it would be nice if you can buy multiple pack of monthlies, and then they also duplicate the amount of BC daily based on the amount of patches being synced and also the amount active monthlies... But I doubt Kuro will do that.
@@brynphillips9957 The sync is probably for DMC mainly because Capcom is very strict with their collab times.If they don't speed this up CN will get DMC and rest of servers won't and people won't be happy.

I wanted to start PGR as it intrigues me but my Google Play shows me that the English PGR is not available in the region and the one in traditional Chinese is. Can anyone explain what the difference is and why can't i download and play the global version? and also should I go ahead and play the Chinese one and will there be any problems I might face? Finally, can I play the game in English as my Chinese is not so fluent?
Pgr has different servers (global,KR I think,JP,CN and TW). Currently Taiwan server is the closest to CN compared to other servers n u might not be able to download the global version cuz ur in taiwan rn. U can probably use external app stores to get the global version

I recommend you to first use vpn to some asian country since you'd get shorter latency. There a bunch of them for free. then you create a new google account and set region to the country you chose. then you search the game (while on vpn) and proceed to download the game. When finished downloading you can stop vpn. You won't need it again.
Spenders are just mad because it's more expensive to flex your SSS S-rank with synchronization, as a monthly pass buyer I don't care if it goes up a little bit.

Spenders (and especially low spenders) have issues with this because you need to spend two to three times the amount of money in the exact same time span as before to get the exact same things they would have gotten. The price doesn't go up "a little" it goes up a lot and it is fair for people to criticize this part of the synchronization plan, especially when the rest is great. Unless you think going from like 25 euros per month to 75 is perfectly acceptable, then feel free to fund everyone that extra 50 in increase. And this isn't for SSS by the way, it's for SS + sig + CUB with the occassional SS3.

Someone who used to buy only MPAs now needs to buy 3 in the same time span to have the same effect as before. This is not sustainable for anyone except insanely rich people. So stop trying to make it seem like it's affecting a small percentage of giga-whales that want to flex their SSS+ units. This even affects people that want as little as SS + sig for all their units.
how about monthly BC spenders? Would I get 2-3 times amount of BC daily by duplicating the monthly cards? If monthly can only give the normal amount daily (max 100 BC daily), spenders wouldn't be able to keep up with the rapid release of meta characters...
this is the major drawback of the synchronization. From what they announced, there would be new monthly pass-related packs, but the amount of daily BC we get from MP is the same, so unless buying all, we won't be able to keep up

Kuro is in a bit of a lose/lose situation with handling the paid options. Without discounts it will be difficult for spenders to handle the higher monely cost so people will almost certainly spend less regardless. With discounts they will still end up losing money since they will be basically not be selling the RC they would have other wise have gotten over the span of a year. Plus there is a psychological aspect. When the sync up is acheived everyone who has been buying stuff will suddenly be getting a lot less value for the same amount of money if they have just had a year of discounts and many will dislike that.
not excited. i wish kuro would have just fast forwarded a few patches than syncing. i have been playing since global. i like being able to preview future constructs and game features. i do spend for monthly pass, but this is far from being enough to be able to pull for every construct each patch, raise them at least to ss and get their signature weapon. knowing what is in the future patches make it easy for me to plan ahead and focus my resources on characters i love. it kinda sucks when all servers get synced. i wish they would keep chinese server 3-4 patches ahead. also, i can imagine myself getting tired because of the pressure of having to complete the events each patch. unless they can adjust the required effort and time. some events are just soooo time consuming even if they are not that difficult.

I'm a mid spender and i have few whale friends.Whales don't care it's mid spenders and BP/Monthly that are getting shafted.
