Before I even used my S-rank selector I had already pulled Rosetta early on and only thought it fitting to get Liv luminance and Lucia alpha from the selectors from there, so I'm ready to go once Bianca's new frame comes out.
THIS, THIS SO MUCH, I've been playing PGR for 2 months only and this is by far the best channel to learn, all the others try to help, but they put way too much informations for newbies like me to understand and everything ends up being confusing as hell, back then I watched about 5-6 videos of tutorials and I was still was very confused, it wasn't until I watched GrayRavenRadio videos that I started to understand stuff

True. The god meta characters that are arriving kind of bend the core mechanics of PGR and will need a hefty amount of practice to optimize their gameplay. To make things more challenging, you'll have to optimize team compositions for them to do their best in War Zone and PPC.

Luna should really be very high priority. There is SOOOOOO much time until Lamia comes out, and dark is so strong with the option for Vera Rozen which gets a leap upgrade way before Lamia, Selena is free to obtain by grinding and 21 is another pretty good tank that is not far behind Kamui. Creating a team with 2 standard banner characters is really easy for a beginner!

Selena entry is kinda misleading in that it doesn't mention that the comparison with Rozen only holds in Laurel teams which don't have any room for swapping in. She's still BiS at S rank if the dark dps is Astral or Scire - anyone that runs out of orbs, basically.

I started PGR a year ago, and went on a year long hiatus because of school, and I came back to an abundance of characters, it's guides like this that is pretty helpful to me to give an idea of who to save for and what not

Definitely saving up for Alpha. She just looks insane and looks strong. My first character I pulled for was the OG Alpha when she first came out on global so only makes sense to get her upgraded form. But as a free to play, hopefully I will get enough currency by then. 🤷🏻♂️
REALL, Like how you described the worth or sheer strength of Alpha CW(my gf) that she can speedblitz a fight Alone without support or a tank, It just proves that She is straight up one of the most top priorities you need to get.
From what I spectate she's powerful without need to swap because like most next gen S-rank attacked, she doesn't relied on orbs much Unlike general S-rank attacker in current global, they relied on orbs to use core passive and when there's none, swap to other members for them to recover orbs off-field

@@davidfrost5995 1. Do the weeklies mission (Phantom Pain Cage & Warzone), try to not miss them because the weeklies is a big help for your Black Card currencies. 2. If you're new to the game, doing the main story helps too since it has good BC rewards. 3. The last method is by doing the event challenges, sometimes the rewards is not much but some challenges is pretty easy to beat with high rewards.

I started playing during the anniversary event and I was so lucky to pull starfarer and empyrea (both early) on anniv banner select. After playing for a while I pulled Rosetta on the standard banner after 40 pulls so I picked Luminance on my free selector. I'm currently waiting for Bianca and Lee now since their team is pretty much complete. It's really amazing how generous this game is when it comes to gacha given the 100% debut drop rate which you rarely see on gacha games. I'll definitely be playing this game long term and its really good to know that there are meta units that are free to get like ayla and alisa in the future. Thank you for this informative vid I learned a lot and got an idea on who to pull for next ^ ^

I came back at Namami patch and got Fire Liv on the standard banner. Literally came at the perfect time now in due time I can make all the teams. Considering SSing Luna just cause I freaking love her
Good list, but I don't agree with Luna being high priority. If you have high invested Selena/Scire, Luna gets demoted to Einsteina role, and most of time people spend on scire or selena. Unless maybe someone has SSS(or higher) Luna there is not much reason to spend a lot of time on Luna and at that time Astral (especially with Leap improvements) is sufficient. If you have not high invested Selena/Scire you will ignore dark team soon entirly because new Physical/Fire/Lightning team are so overpowered they will outperform your weak dark team in dark team content. Even if you look at other high tier contenders... you have bunch of time stop characters (obviously strong), and you have a characters that have entire cliff difference to their alternative. Chrome S vs Changyu diffrence is huge, same goes for S vera vs A chrome, same goes for Nanami S vs Namami pulse, Rosetta (especially with leap) vs any other physical tanks. Meanwhile Luna vs Leapped Astral diffrence is not that big. Also none of those tanks for long future are replaced, while Luna will be replaced. Luna should be Mid or low tier depending how invested is Astral. If Astral is far from SSS+, Luna is mid tier, if Astral is already SSS+, it is low. You not gonna spend skulls or money right now on Luna, that money or skulls are better to spend on Selena or Scire even. Also reason why initially Luna was rated much higher then Astral in historical teams was because Astral was running out of orbs and had to swap to Teneb/Vera A while Luna was self sufficient and that self sufficiency was giving her good scores. There is no need to be however afraid to swap from Astral with Scire or Selena around. Everything else on list, is spot on.

Example : stigamata, hypereal, crimson weave, lamia, etc. And then use the A rank tank+support Or should i focus building meta teams for particular elements consist of S attack+tank+amp? Example pulling for alpha crimson weave, 21 feral scent, an vera garnet. And then start building other elements

👍 It looks like July-August 2023 are the best times to start playing PGR. 👍 New players will have enough time to save BCs and get all the high-priority characters listed here, starting from Bianca Abystigma (Liv Empyrea can be free from Feb selector). Also, I think it’s interesting that Selena Tempest is the only un mentioned in this video. I love that she is considered meta (even if just for a time). Selena ftw!!
i have a question on the S-Rank selector, so they just added those new frames for the S-Rank selector New players acquire when completing the tutorial missions, or this S-Rank selector in Wintry Shackles is for all players as an event reward or something else when the version dropped to CN?
This games power creep is so frustrating sometimes! I love Veritas so much more than most of the other frames in this game, and would hate to put her down for the new Alpha frame, and I'm all for playing a game however you like.... but it still sucks to see characters so viscerally outclassed! My poor warzone scores! Leap skills are awesome, I hope Kuro continues to tweak and modify the leap skills of characters who are severely outclassed, and doesn't shy away from modifying them after release, for all the pulse fans who don't want to see Starfarer's bum in their face all day! Cheers to PGR being a game that's fun enough for this to be worth being upset about, and cheers to the future of WW and Kuro's hopeful success and growth!

something very important to add is that if people start the game now you can easily get 15k BC before September just by doing the story
I was already planning to build Bianca and Alpha teams so this video made me feel very validated!

Good list, but I don't agree with Luna being high priority.
If you have high invested Selena/Scire, Luna gets demoted to Einsteina role, and most of time people spend on scire or selena. Unless maybe someone has SSS(or higher) Luna there is not much reason to spend a lot of time on Luna and at that time Astral (especially with Leap improvements) is sufficient.
If you have not high invested Selena/Scire you will ignore dark team soon entirly because new Physical/Fire/Lightning team are so overpowered they will outperform your weak dark team in dark team content.
Even if you look at other high tier contenders... you have bunch of time stop characters (obviously strong), and you have a characters that have entire cliff difference to their alternative. Chrome S vs Changyu diffrence is huge, same goes for S vera vs A chrome, same goes for Nanami S vs Namami pulse, Rosetta (especially with leap) vs any other physical tanks. Meanwhile Luna vs Leapped Astral diffrence is not that big. Also none of those tanks for long future are replaced, while Luna will be replaced. Luna should be Mid or low tier depending how invested is Astral. If Astral is far from SSS+, Luna is mid tier, if Astral is already SSS+, it is low. You not gonna spend skulls or money right now on Luna, that money or skulls are better to spend on Selena or Scire even.
Also reason why initially Luna was rated much higher then Astral in historical teams was because Astral was running out of orbs and had to swap to Teneb/Vera A while Luna was self sufficient and that self sufficiency was giving her good scores. There is no need to be however afraid to swap from Astral with Scire or Selena around. Everything else on list, is spot on.

Should i pull for every S attacker for each element? Example : stigamata, hypereal, crimson weave, lamia, etc. And then use the A rank tank+support
Or should i focus building meta teams for particular elements consist of S attack+tank+amp? Example pulling for alpha crimson weave, 21 feral scent, an vera garnet. And then start building other elements

i have a question on the S-Rank selector, so they just added those new frames for the S-Rank selector New players acquire when completing the tutorial missions, or this S-Rank selector in Wintry Shackles is for all players as an event reward or something else when the version dropped to CN?
Saving everything for Alpha 2.0 and Feral 21. These two looks like so much fun to play.
This games power creep is so frustrating sometimes! I love Veritas so much more than most of the other frames in this game, and would hate to put her down for the new Alpha frame, and I'm all for playing a game however you like.... but it still sucks to see characters so viscerally outclassed! My poor warzone scores!
Leap skills are awesome, I hope Kuro continues to tweak and modify the leap skills of characters who are severely outclassed, and doesn't shy away from modifying them after release, for all the pulse fans who don't want to see Starfarer's bum in their face all day!
Cheers to PGR being a game that's fun enough for this to be worth being upset about, and cheers to the future of WW and Kuro's hopeful success and growth!
