$12,500 ain't too bad for 800+hp and a warranty. The 511 was a solid roller motor and had a really radical cam profile that was rough on parts on long trips and in traffic. I love to drive my car all over, its never trailered and the 511 had to keep up with lots of lifter adjustments and just too wild on street. This 632 makes more power, runs much faster and I can drive anywhere without thinking twice. It's unbelievable to drive a 9 sec big body car anywhere and not have to turn a wrench!
This engine is seriously the best purchase I have ever made! Blueprint engines knocked it out of the park on this motor! I had it over a year now and just added gas and drive. BTW it loves those stations!!! lol but its fast as all get out!
I am getting ready to order one of these blueprint engines. Am doing a 1952 chevy 3100 on an s10 frame, just got in my 504 mounting kit to mount cab and bed and a new Moser 9inch rear end spec'd out for this engine. Cant wait after seeing your video and all the positive comments from everyone on the blueprint engines In time I plan to put an 8-71 on top of it.. More for the wow factor in appearance at that point.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 That intro music is my favorite cruising song by the way.👌😉 Anyway,....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 when you fired that monster up,....I had my bluetooth speaker up pretty loud jamming that song. My wife was reading across the room. It made her literally jump outta her skin brother.🤣🤣🤣🤣 What a FKN motor. That's what I call,...."A Beautiful Instrument of Violence.". Cant beat there pricing and warranty in my opinion. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Hope she is still gappin' folks.💪🇺🇸💪
Hahaha that comment made my day! And yes sir she still after all these years puts alot of people in the rear view. Not many daily drivers out there able to gap her haha
@mwd92 It changes the shift pattern and makes it like a manual trans without a clutch, semi auto. You have to manual shift it every time you take off or slow down, makes for quicker, harder shifts. Good for high horsepower and fun to run, best of both worlds. Plus your pulling back to shift up, not pushing forward.
Yet another breath taking video. You always do knock it out the park with these videos, and get it right on with the music pictures and quotes. Can't wait for the next video, and the next time I can catch a ride in that Monster!
The car and engine look and sound fantastic. I hope you have better luck with your Blueprint engine than I did. I have a 347 stoker that I had to rebuild after 5k miles. Had flat tappet cam
Nice!! I also have a 632 CID engine, but in a 70 Chevelle. With the factory stock style cowl induction hood being raised a couple inches in the middle, I was able to fit the big engine under the hood with a 3.5" tall air cleaner element with a 2" drop base for the Dominator carb. So do you care to share your camshaft specs? What I don't understand is that you said that it cost you $12.5K but they're selling now for $11.5K so why is that?
@scottfleeger Thanks! Sucks to hear the engine went that soon, what did you do? Did they honor the warranty and fix it? I have pretty bad luck so I won't say anything too soon but so far so good. I plan on making more videos as soon as I get the car ready for the street.
Hey Big fella .. just in case you didn't know the Monte came STOCK with the Big Block but because the GM pump was indexed so the inlet and outlets didn't have fitment issues there were none, I personally would have went with the electric pump because I might have chosen spray at some point which makes the mechanical pump useless ..... I''m about midway in the process of my own last drag car and thinking about the big inch LS motor instead of my older 509 that needs R/R anyway..
Good to see big blocks out there but with ls costs coming down and they making the same or better numbers at lighter weight it wont be long till they take over.
Love ls motors but the power a big block makes on pump gas both n/a and boosted plus the torque they make is unbeatable. Look what dominates the street and drag week still to this day. But I aint knocking a well built ls, I'll have one in my 69 Camaro and love the gas mileage as well! Big blocks we wont talk about mpg!!! HAHAHA
@GMexpress Thanks bro! Lmao yeah this video does no justice of the nasty sound of this motor! I plan on doing a chassis dyno to see rwhp but this beast blew up my built th400. It's been an insanely awesome motor, I'm almost done with making my next video of it in action on the street and track. If you put this in a F-body?!? I want to see it!!!! Getting it to fit, yeah I gotta see that!
Laughing, the vid i was talking about the guy did a engine swap putting a 454ci in a 1997 Camaro Z28 I'm not trying to be smart, but is his car front end body style the same as 1994 Firebid? Is physical size of the 632ci motor the same as 454ci ? Thanks for any info, can't wait to see your next vids.
love the car ! do you think you made the right gear selection with 373 or could it use less gear or more gear.. putting the same engine in my nova so i was wondering. thanks
@Bapman808 It's the only one I could think of, even though the car is too loud and rear tires don't help with image. Haha but alot of people don't expect this old car to run like it does now.
I'll be posting a new video of some driving and a few go pro passes. This is after a year of driving, 7,000 miles and plenty of passes. Motors a beast!
Man I gotta ride in it since you've done this lol The things a beast man, can't wait to check it out next time I chill with yall. The Impala is still slow and the truck is still broke lol and the 5-0 just like to give me tickets as well..
@japponen77 You got a chevelle so they'll fit perfect. I had to modify one tube on each header to clear for the monte carlos extra length, but other then that they fit perfect.
Oh can't ask for better. Got a solid 6 years out it driving all over and racing. Only thing in that time I did other than regular maintenance like oil and plugs was valve springs needed changing. Broke a few after the third year wanna say. Replaced with a new set and was good. Ended up taking it apart a year or so back to freshen it up and still all looked well. Rings, cam and lifters only things I needed to replace in that rebuild. It is back together now with more power and doing its thing again.
Prosystems built the dom and works perfect on street. No transbrake just ole foot brake and I launch around 1500, cant really stall out too much more because it'll spin. Give Patrick a call at prosystems, he'll setup a good program for you!
Monte SS did you do any driving with the 1250 don before getting a carb from Patrick. Mine has been eating spark plugs and I currently have a new carb coming from Patrick for the 632. Hope to have a different animal in a couple of days. Sounds great by the way.
@@chevyblown468 mine came with the aed 1050 before they switched to 1250's. When I got my 1250 from Pro systems it still needed fine tuning. If you fouling plugs its gotta be one of those things. Keep me posted, cause got mine where I don't worry bout plugs for awhile.
Man great job with your car, listening with ear phones, I had to turn the volume down, lol, sounds good, old school power. Do you plan to dyno this beast, I'd like to see the numbers rwhp. I'm thinking 383 stroker w/F1A procharger for my project Firebird or wondering if I want to modify and shove one of these engines in it, what do you think, it should fit like a glove in the engine bay right, laughing...
@japponen77 Not yet, just got my th400 back and installing it now. As soon as its back together I plan on chassis dynoing it. It makes good power, my old motor I knew made 700+ at crank and 540 to the wheels and this motor easily out performs my old one. Biggest fitting issues, if you have the original a/c box your gonna need to modifiy it, and headers call Dan lemon! He builds exact fit headers for chevelles with tall decks. Other then that and hood clearance, it is well worth it!
@DemCamow7179 No NOS for me, later down the road I will build it for serious boost once my warranty is up. Not much specs came with motor but I can call blueprint and get the info on it. This motor will make your camaro move out! It pulls this big red car down the quarter mile over 130 mph. Thats with stock suspension and 1.96 sixty foot.
I've looked at your chevelle in the past and its one big reason I wanted a 632! Not too good on cam specs but I think max lift is 648? And yeah I dont know why the price drop? A good deal even better!!! I mean this motor has just been unbelieveable! NEVER would've thought I could have my cake and eat it too from what most people around me say! Oh you cant drive that on the street, oh its too much for the street...phahahaha!
Monte SS sweet car. I just bought That engine. What Size exhaust are you running on that car? Is it the same setup as the 559 chassis dyno numbers? Thanks
Just noticed, you have factory AC like I do in my Nova. No clearance issue with tall deck or lemon headers with regards to AC unit? I'd like to keep it in my car if I can.
The headers clear no problem, but valve cover hit big time. We had to modify the engine side of the box greatly to clear. Its easy if you can work fiberglass. Takes time though cause gotta pull engine a few times to seperate box and test fit.
@kwitchurbeliakin1 There's alot of different pics out there of this motor, like the ones in Jegs don't even match this one. I didn't remove or add anything. It has all what it came with, I just painted the whole motor and dropped it in.
soulpatrol1 the solids kept it from hitting hood when moving but to clear stock hood, a custom low profile air filter and 1/4 body lift worked. Just enough to clear and not notice from outside!

@japponen77 Haha it's still a 10sec car right now. I got a few things I'm gonna do to it and hopefully scratch out a 9 sec pass. I've been getting a lot of questions on the time, trust me when I say this motor has a LOT of go!
How is that dominator carb on the street? do you run a transbrake? does it come up on the converter ok if not when your at the track launching it? im putting a 540 in my car right now and trying to pick a carb.
Lemons makes a custom set for a chevelle that work on this car. You will need to extend one tube on each header from him just to clear lower control arm mount but other than that they are best choice for headers on this combo.
Hello. Have you dyno tested that 632? I live in Finland and i have same engine coming to 72 chevelle... i´d like to know is the numbers that blueprint says reliable??? Did you have any fitting problems? Exhaust???
did you have to notch the crossmember to fit the oil pan?? Ive got a 68 chevelle Id like to get this engine for, and blueprint didnt have an answer for me
@japponen77 Sure will! But gotta rebuild my transmission again! When you get this engine, make sure you have a well built trans and rear end. Haha love this engine just gotta get the rest of the car to hold it!
Did me fine, about 15k mile mark had to change valve springs but thats typical for combo like this. And freshen up around 30k mile mark but wasn't bad. I was very pleased with it for what I put it through!
@@PeachCoastLowrider yeah typically big blocks with aggressive valve train tends to wear springs over time. All depends on use really, I did alot of racing at track and playing. They got better springs out there that last longer but for a budget what these did is good I say.
Im working on a street action video right now. just my problem is every time I get a meal to eat Im the only one in the car! Kinda hard hanging onto 800+hp with one hand while filming. hahaha!!!
Does just fine on 93. Even dead heat of summer at nearly 100 degrees out, she good. Mine made best power at 34 full advanced and set there no issues still.
I know this is kind of an odd question but what kind of mpg do you get with that? I'm only asking because I'm thinking about putting one in my daily driver.
@Monte1970SS Let me back up a little bit, I was actually looking for a car for my fiance (now wife) and came across an ad that read "'83 Thunderbird New 347 Stroker Blueprint Engine, Gearstar LVL 4 AOD trans.
