I just made this and it turned out amazing! I followed your recipe exactly, with the exception of cooking half a diced yellow onion with the ground chicken. Also I used a Ninja Foodi and angel hair pasta. I will definitely be making this again!
Thank you for actually giving exact measurements of water and pasta. Stove dying but I have a pressure cooker with similar buttons to the InstaPot, so time to play with it
I made this & added 1 tblspn of garlic along with Prego Italian sauce. Also cooked 1 bag of crimini mushrooms from Trader Joe’s in a frying pan. Also cut a piece of French bread added butter and garlic powder toasted it and Voila! A Italian dinner.
I love this video. Your personality is delightful too. Just got my insta pot & trying to binge on videos to learn to use. I have used a pressure cooker since in my 20’s now 79 so eternity, lol. Not afraid but so many dang buttons & Tecknology & I DO NOT GET ALONG! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS INSPIRING VIDEO. WAS EXACTYLY WHAT I WAS SEARCHING FOr. ❤HUGS u r adorable
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your videos! I have a Ninja Foodi which replaced my Instant Pot because I can cook an entire 8 lb frozen chicken then Reverse sear it under the broil function. But I've been using the same spaghetti recipe in my Pressure cookers for so long, I wanted to try a new one. Yours was absolutely delicious. Thanks so much and you and your husband are just ADORABLE, I LOVE YOUR "YEE-HAW'S💕
Ok, just so you know, your hubby is a hoot and a half. Very funny and interactive guy 😃 This recipe looks so easy and so good, I can't wait to make it. I just made instant pot spaghetti for supper yesterday, so will check back when I can make spaghetti again ...... not tonight.
I just made this and THANK YOU!!! This is going straight into my recipe book. This would make a perfect weeknight quick and easy staple. My toddler basically scarfed it down. One question tho-- I brought it to the perfect consistency but then it continued to get dry and dry even though I turned the heat off. I keep adding water and it keeps getting dry 😩 I want it to stay saucy how do I fix that?
Try using angel hair pasta instead of spaghetti. I used 8 ounces. They soak up far less liquid and I ended up with more sauce, which is the way I like spaghetti.
Love you guys! Your videos are fantastic! I want to make Spaghetti with Chicken. The ingredients that I have are: Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs ( Approximately 6 of them; 1.84 pounds) 1 Pound Traditional Spaghetti 10 oz Diced Tomatoes with Lime, Cilantro, and Green Chilies 14.5 oz Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes with Garlic 32 oz bottle of Lemon Juice 32 oz Chicken Broth 1/2 a Large Sweet Onion 24 oz Newmans Own Sockarooni pasta sauce Himalayan Pink Fine Grain Salt Curry Powder Ground Cumin Smoked Paprika Cayenne Pepper Italian Seasoning Ground Turmeric Oregano Dill Flax Seed Butter Black Pepper This list of ingredients is simply to show you what I have on hand. I, of course, don't have to use all of them. The only "must-use" items are the Chicken, Spaghetti, and Sockarooni. Any suggestions on how to use my Instant Pot to make Spaghetti with Chicken Thighs? I would value your expertise and wisdom to show me how. I love the happiness you show in every one of your videos! Keep up the excellent work!
Thank you for watching! I have a few recipes that use spaghetti and chicken for the instant pot. Here is a link to my Instant Pot recipes so you can pick your favorite: ifoodreal.com/cooking-method/healthy-instant-pot/ Let me know how it goes!
Hi I am absolutely useless at cooking and I have no idea how long to brown the mince for? I can't tell the difference in colour either 🤣 also if I was to add mushrooms would I just put them in before turning the pressure cooker bit on?
Brown meat until it is in small pieces. Here doesn’t matter if it is cooked through. Put mushrooms on top of meat yes. But keep in mind they will make sauce more watery. Enjoy!
You can turn it off and finish cooking since it’s already under pressure. Some models are more sensitive I believe. Food should be fine. Pasta cooks fast.
Thank you so much. I cook spaghetti like you, but when I saw the word burn I said I burn my spaghetti and got scared 😱. I love your videos and I know you can help me when I have a problem with my instant pot. Now I can use my instant pot 😊 Thanks to you. 😘🤗👍👏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
It will need much longer cook time than pasta, so pasta will be a mush. I recommend to half cook frozen chicken breasts first, let's say for 8 mins on high and then proceed to actual recipe.
Depends on what kind of sauce and seasonings you use. Garlic and onions (real, dried or powder), plus some oregano and basil does a whole lot to punch up the flavor so it doesn't taste like school cafeteria food.
@@JP-vh1bn I just made some for the first time with my own home made sauce. Considering I totally winged it, it wasn't bad. I think you have to experiment with the timing, how much water, etc. We like ours more sloppy wet and not so well cooked, so next time a little more water and about a minute less cooking time. Its a great way to cook in a hot day without heating the house up more.
Depends what kind of pasta you use. Angel hair or thin spaghetti takes a whole lot less time than regular spaghetti, linguine, rigatoni, penne or other pasta. I would think using the time recommended on the package would give you an idea how long it should be cooked. I also think if you use an Instant Pot mini, it uses less electricity and takes longer to come up to cooking temperature.

That sounds delicious with angel hair pasta and ground chicken!
Thanks for the recipe .. And you are a wonderful couple .. 🙂👍
Very good instructions not only cooking but how to use pot
Thank you so much!
I'm trying it out now. I just moved and don't have my kitchen fitted yet. The Instant Pot is going to (hopefully) save day - or week! 🍝 😋
Thank you! I just tried this and its the best I've ever made. Delicious!
Glad you liked it!!
Thank you for actually giving exact measurements of water and pasta. Stove dying but I have a pressure cooker with similar buttons to the InstaPot, so time to play with it
I love my Instapot, cook such a variety of food, including casseroles with Pasta and rice! Great invention.
Agree 100%:))

Perfection!
How much liquid do you need if you start with already made sauce?

OMG, it's so easy and delicious. Love your videos and you're such a joy to watch. Thanks and keep them coming. 😉
Looks really good.
Saucy..
I will definitely try this. Such a cute couple.🤗
Thank you, just I bought 🤗
How do I add pre-cooked frozen meatballs? Should I heat up the meatballs then add to be cooked with the spaghetti? Thanks!
Just add them instead of ground meat and don't saute. Lay on the bottom and then follow the rest of the recipe. Same cooking time.

Made this for a about the 10th time. It's sitting for 10 minutes now. You are the spaghetti QUEEN!
Quick question. If I want to double the amount do I double all ingredients except water and cooking time?
You double everything even water but same cook time.
Thank you! I've made this twice and I love it. Others love it too.
I drive an 18 wheeler. I use instapot often
You should publish and 18 wheeler instant pot cookbook. Bet the folks who live in RV's or even cook out of the back of their cars would like it.
I like onion and garlic in my spaghetti. Would I sauté it w the meat or add raw on top of meat?
I would sauté with meat.

I made spaghetti in the IP and the pasta was a goopy mess. I will try your recipe

I did it, it wasn't as amazing as you said yours taste (so I probably did something wrong) but it was edible. Unlike her garlic sourdough toast 😆
We're not chefs 😁

With your fancy trick by pressing the lid to make the pressure valve pop up, can you actually open it straight away then? I'm guessing not 😬 💨
Why did she push on the lid before the pink thing popped up?!?!??!? Confused me!!!!!
cute
Looks easy and delicious. But you guys need to chew your food more.
Yes we will do! Thank you so much for watching and for your valuable feedback. Have a great day!

never heard of too much meat in spaghetti

In my Instant pot spaghetti is not even close to being cooked in 5 minutes! I found 10 minutes is perfect with slow release. Go figure.

Il problema non è che non sapete cucinare, NON SAPETE MANGIARE!!!
Spaghetti must be boiled! That's it
This looks like mash for dogs
Never cut spaghetti! And pls stop insulting italian kitchen!!!
