If you go plant based, you will have less acne problems, I don‘t have this problem, but if you stop eating milk products, you will have a better and healthier skin!👍and also stoping animal products, specially fatty meat.. well, thanks for this excelent video!👍yeah!!
I'm gonna try eating lower protein for a while to see if it helps with my acne. I've already been vegan for many years, and I've been trying my best to eat low glycemic load, as well, but my acne persists. It may be because of my high protein intake. I have been eating a LOT of extra protein to build muscle (150g to 200g of plant protein per day). Frankly I'm a bit worried I will lose muscle while trying out a much lower-protein diet for a few months. But it's worth at least testing it, to see if I can clear my acne this way.
You could check out Brian Turner's videos where he talks about his acne. Maybe he has some tips for you, also around protein intake, as he is into muscle-building himself
I was taking HMB (a supplement that increases leucine utilization... or something to that effect) to help me recover from an injury and I noticed my acne flared up really badly. I was also eating a lot of fat free yogurt which is basically skim milk. I recently cut out all dairy and stopped the HMB and now my skin appears to be clearing up. As an athlete I generally eat a higher protein diet which may not help things. Carbs are not good for acne so I'm not sure how eating more vegetable based protein would be helpful since they are usually higher in carbs by nature? Maybe I can lower my protein intake slightly and see how well I maintain my muscle mass (HMB is known to help preserve muscle mass too... they say its great for the elderly to be taking)
Hey, thanks for your comment! Not all carbs are equal! It is true that sugar and processed grains (flour products) do not promote skin health, but the same cannot be said about legumes, intact grains, whole fruits or vegetables. Unless you have a soy allergy, soy-based protein sources are great, like tofu, tempeh, edamame, etc. Other legumes are also quite high in protein. There is no need to restrict the intake of high-carb whole plant foods! :)
Studies show that for muscle growth, the relevant factor is the amount of protein, not if it is plant-derived or animal-derived. I don't think going for animal protein with a lot of BCAAs, or supplementing extra BCAAs is such a relevant factor.

If you want big muscle, you should do the opposite ! But not sure bodybuilders have more depression or diabet type 2
