When my wife bought her Crosstrek she actually considered getting a G70. The local Hyundai dealership felt like a used car lot. There are supposed to be some new Genesis specific stores in the works, but I’ve never seen one.

@Peder Hansen Simpler and more reliable? That isn't the end all of a luxury car. Better is more luxury, performance, tech, a far better drive, design, engineering. I mean if you just want simpler and more reliable, why not buy a regular car and save the money if the actual experience doesn't matter.
@Peder Hansen No offense, but nothing you're saying is really making any sense. The majority of people aren't buying a luxury car. A luxury car buyer's main focus is not to save money, sales prove this. You're trying to get a luxury car experience. The G90 is nice, but it doesn't compare to an S-Class on that count. I didn't say what I owned and you don't what I've had trouble with. Please stop making silly assumptions. Yeah you pay less for a G90 because you get less, it's really that simple.
@Peder Hansen I said from the start that the S-Class was a better car. Not sure what you aren't getting here. I don't care who can afford what. That's your issue, I'm talking about what the better car is. NO Lexus is not the most sold luxury car in the U.S. Lexus has NOT been #1 in the U.S. in years. You gotta get the most recent information. Mercedes and BMW are usually #1 and #2 in the U.S. market. Lexus just moved up to #2 last year. Lexus most certainly is NOT the most sold luxury car here. Look it up.
@Peder Hansen I said that it was a better car. It's already a luxury car so there is need to point that out, it is implied that it provides more luxury.
@Peder Hansen Man log off, you lost the plot long time ago. I mean this comment you just made is just plain stupid and nonsensical. I already said this. Log off, you're done.
I got mine because it’s something nice for a good price, it’s really great on long distance trips. Me and my family love it it’s not as fast as a Mercedes that’s for sure but you can still pull on SOME cars if you want but in realty it’s more like a coasting car

Why would you want to close your phone there 😂
YES
Thanks for listening about the independent coffee shops. ☕ It is a nice car, but Ryan, can you rate (or compare) the dealership experience? Owners/leasees will need to use the dealer; so what is that end of the transaction like?
When my wife bought her Crosstrek she actually considered getting a G70. The local Hyundai dealership felt like a used car lot. There are supposed to be some new Genesis specific stores in the works, but I’ve never seen one.
I will say that the genesis G90 is nice and well equipped but im a Mercedes Benz guy all day long and the s class hands down is my choice and let’s face it for the other comments about reliablity of the Mercedes Benz most customers are leasing these cars and then moving along.
So you would rather pay and extra 60k for the same equipment and a fancy Mercedes badge?
A lot of car for the money.
All that and no wireless car play😑
To the trail! To the trail! ;-)
mercedes is a nightmare to repair and its look is getting old, really old
Gonna buy it in a few years when its cheaper 😂
That real headroom seems a true problem for an executive sedan. Does Hyundai want to call it "Ultimate Luxury Sedan for under 5'10"?
I am huge fan of your channel! I am surprised you mentioned (not compared) Subaru legacy here ua-cam.com/video/Rezmlb1JPjU/v-deo.html
What does it do differently? Genesis ACC does everything efficiently which eyesight does? Not a fair mentioning! :)
The Merc for me hands down. The materials between the two are a big difference in feel of luxury plus the Advance Cabin of the Merc is far superior. Yeah it's a little bit more in cost but I wouldn't buy a new body Supra with the cash difference (junk) but definitely something else.
Good video of the car and thanks for the content.
It’s the Mercedes s class is better but not 50k more better maybe 10k but that’s about it
THANK YOU. YOU ANSWERED the boogeyman FOR ME !!!@@adilsagadiyev5090
All new G90 better
Prefer the mercedes
If you have that much extra cash, totally.
@@ALMX5DP If you are look for a 3yo Sclass, price is almost half of brand new. These premium luxury car value drops like a stone immediately after leaving the dealer lot.
@@bobchan1666 sure, but that same argument could be made for a 3 year old Genesis too, saving even more.
@@ALMX5DP except that the Genesis was $20K off.
I'll keep my CT6E.
Nice car for back seat occupants, but how about a little less for the riders and little more for the driver
It is the same engine that they have been using for years now. Come on now, new luxury line, competing with Mercedes S Class, have a new updated and more powerful engine. How about 450 HP??
are you buying the car to use it on street or for racing?! genesis engine has alot of power. Maybe you need a Ferrari
So I guess the bmw 7 series doesn’t exist anymore or the Audi A8 or Kia k900 or Lexus LS500 it’s always about the Mercedes S-class
Yes.
This 80k car doesn't have seat massagers?! That's laughable! My 12k 2004 Lexus LS430 has seat massagers. 100k cars are just now catching up to the things my car has in it. I'll stick with my LS!
That's like comparing a Chrysler 300 to a Bentley. Can't compare
Nothing like a 300 v Bentley. This is still a lot of money, but does offer a value proposition to someone desiring an S-Class.
I am korean but in korea nobody treat G90 as S class competitor. Somebody think its better than lexus LS500 ..
Needs dam air suspension for a huge car like that luxury big cars most have air suspension I love this car but without air suspension still not luxury still not comfortable no matter what they do would never beat air suspension not sure why they don't put it doesn't cost much after market people put it for 3k not factory of course would be better but still for car companies and quantity is much cheaper they can put highest quality air suspension for cheap or under 3k any luxury car to me needs it otherwise it isn't luxury
15.7 cu ft is small for this class.
It IS. But how much STUFF do you need to schlep in your trunk !
Not going to lie... The phone not fitting in that spot would so bother me. Also, a touch screen?! In a Luxury car? Someone should tell Acura it's okay to have it touch screen...
G90 looks amazing but they should have kept rims from G70/G80
Those rims G90 currently have really ruins the look of the car
They answer is absolutely not. You get what you pay for. Even the S450 is a better car.
Looks like a ‘Merican car
NO.
s class is one of the most unreliable cars
Precisely !!
'"Even the Swiss can do it""??? Now, we know why the XC90 flunked.
Put this engine in the Palisade, pls Hyundai
It's an attractive car, that's for sure, but I always wonder what kinda person these companies are actually aiming for.
I think for the person that wants S-Class space, presence or features at an E-Class price.
I got mine because it’s something nice for a good price, it’s really great on long distance trips. Me and my family love it it’s not as fast as a Mercedes that’s for sure but you can still pull on SOME cars if you want but in realty it’s more like a coasting car
It is a really GOOD CAR for MUCH LESS $$$ than the cars from DEUTSCHLAND, with BETTER RELIABILITY. A COMFY CRUISER, with POWER FOR WHEN YOU NEED IT. I have a 2020 G80 5.0. LOVE IT.@@soo760
I think this should be compared with E-class not S-class :(
G80 is E class competitor
They copied all of MBZ styling and put Lincoln taillights on it.
Could gave been a little less obvious and skipped on the dash clock.
Not for me
Why not to do the comparison to the audi A7 better than both and less price than the Mercedes Benz
Funny thing is it’s smaller and les luxurious than the g90 and still cost more
I know what I'm getting with my Dogecoin
I’m sorry the power sucks big time 5.0 huge engine for under 400 np? They need to work on their engines man because Mercedes got a 4 cylinder that’s 420 hp 5.0 engine waste of gas for only that power ? A v8? Man Hyundai nice car but your engines are horrible for that much hp the engine shouldn’t be more then 2.5 l honestly like what’s the point of that huge engine people wasting tons of gas and not benefiting from it makes no sense matter facts makes 0 sense
Compare that G90 to the brand new a class
this is what an 65 y/o attorney drives
Who has been working at McDonalds for the past 3 years
s class wannabe
Dam are you picky. Look at the price.
Nice car but,80 thousand
Damn my 04 jag xjr 4.2 6 speed is faster
