Tim Tam tourettes isnt just the tics. It is also about concentration problems and a couple of other stuff that i cant remember at the top of my head. Tourettes is essentially a mixture between add, atypical autism and either motor tics, vocal tics or both. So no. you don't have to have a mixture and the tics change, I have had some audible tics (hissing sounds) in the passed but I don't have it now
Isak kerman My jaw jerks sometimes when I'm talking and it makes a weird sound. I wouldn't consider that audible tics though. Well your doctor would probably know better than I would for sure.
The guy seems like a pretty cool dude to kick it with, even without the ticks. For me, the ticks just add to his all around character. I'm sure he would rather not suffer from them, but he seems to be making the best of it and is able to have a giggle at himself. Nobody should feel sorry for the guy, he clearly isn't sorry. Not to say there are never points where he doesn't feel bad. But what can ya do? Just say "fuck it" and move on.

You don't fucking *want* to hurt or disrespect them, of course, because you're trying to reciprocate the respect they're showing you, but it's like an itch that absolutely will not go away until you scratch it.

It's also hurtful when we go out in public, even just to have a nice quiet family dinner, and you see people staring, laughing, and even making comments because of something he has no control over. It truly shows their ignorance and how pathetic they are. If anyone sees someone in public like Lewis or my father, dont laugh, stare, or mimic them....Say Hi to them bc I will guarantee youd end up with a lifelong best friend.

Top lad good on you kid for dealing with tourettes in the way you do.i had your problem when I was very young until my mid twenties and then it gradually tapered off.i learned to control my tics but they can still affect me now and I'm 47. Hopefully one day you will regain normality but never be ashamed of the tics.
I have this issue the same as him... i live a very hard life but im getting treatment.. it started at 7yrs old and thats when my mum realized something was wrong with me.... i was diagnosed with O.C.D, Tourette Syndrome, A.D.H.D.. And i may have Autism.. i am now 11yrs old and have broken 2 bones becasue of my Tourettes when i move my bones... and then they just got out of hand.. and then i was in NHS. Top lad good on you kid for dealing with tourettes in the way you do.i had your problem when I was very young until my mid twenties and then it gradually tapered off.i learned to control my tics but they can still affect me now and I'm 47. Hopefully one day you will regain normality but never be ashamed of the tics.

I have this issue the same as him... i live a very hard life but im getting treatment.. it started at 7yrs old and thats when my mum realized something was wrong with me.... i was diagnosed with O.C.D, Tourette Syndrome, A.D.H.D.. And i may have Autism.. i am now 11yrs old and have broken 2 bones becasue of my Tourettes when i move my bones... and then they just got out of hand.. and then i was in NHS. Can you please like this comment for me and all these people out there that have these issues.. it would mean alot! Thank you :)

There must be SO MANY MORE opportunities in life for us to learn from, and grow to be so much mor kind and tolerant, and help wonderful people like him who may not have his courage, to be ok, and live life more happily because they deserve all the happiness this world can offer when facing down some of the challenges like this, that life throws at them.
