I see these 'Ultimate Raids' as something closer to "reality", I mean like they show their actual enormous power, that they ACTUALLY FEEL THE BADASSES THEY ARE!
Yeah, we are fighting literal gods sometimes, and even though the Wol is basically the most powerful being in the universe at this point, so it makes sense his opponents would be pathetically weak in comparison, it still feels kinda lame. Extremes savages and ultimates really do a good job at making the bosses feel powerful and threatening, so I appreciate that.
I wish I had the time to raid these days just do some of the Ultimate fights. I kept up with most of them and DSR is definitely one of my favourites just for the lore of the "What if?" scenario.
Yeah the time commitments are getting a bit excessive for these latest ultimates. I still love doing them though, looking forward to whatever they're working on in the future.
