@@stephencao6135 it could be a CPU issue depending on age, mine is ~4years old though (Intel i7-9700k). As for FFXIV specifically, it tends to be well optimised. Make sure GPU drivers are updated, sometimes there's a bad apple release and you could be accidentally sitting on it. Double check that you aren't using an in-game frame limiter, because FF's is historically full of problems that loses you frames. Use Rivastatistics tuner if you need to limit FPS. For example, my game WILL hit 144 FPS, but it varies down to the mid 120s, so I capped it there so I never have to look at frame fluctuations xD I have everything thrown on ultra, but there are some options that impact more than others, one being parallex occlusion (the bumpy ground, generally), and the next being real time reflections. If it's none of those things, I would double check what's actually going on per core on the processor, try taking FF off of the first core if it's sitting there (set affinity), and you can try making it a higher priority process to confirm if something else running is the issue /long comment
@@Ekoyuhale hey thanks for the long comment. I really appreciate you taking the time typing those out. I’m using an I7-12700K, the entire system is newly built about a month ago and I didn’t see any problem with the cores or other running components :/ I have most settings thrown on Ultra (running 2K) and limiting my in game FPS at 144hz (I have a 4K 144hz monitor). Haven’t tried running it at 1080P but running at 4K lowered my avg FPS by another 20 or so. Such a weird feeling that my hardwares should allow me to hit 144 at 2k but the reality is only around 100.
@@stephencao6135 Are you limiting it with FFXIV's in-game limiter? if you are, turn it off completely ("None") and use RTSS (riva statistics tuner) instead if you still want to limit it (or other options, that's just what I use). Great video! Mind if I ask what's your fps?
I play at 120, recording is at 60
@@Ekoyuhale Thanks! It seems pretty smooth and well above 60 by the looks of it. I have a 3080 build and for some reason it never really reaches 120… any thoughts or recommendations?
@@stephencao6135 it could be a CPU issue depending on age, mine is ~4years old though (Intel i7-9700k). As for FFXIV specifically, it tends to be well optimised. Make sure GPU drivers are updated, sometimes there's a bad apple release and you could be accidentally sitting on it.
Double check that you aren't using an in-game frame limiter, because FF's is historically full of problems that loses you frames. Use Rivastatistics tuner if you need to limit FPS. For example, my game WILL hit 144 FPS, but it varies down to the mid 120s, so I capped it there so I never have to look at frame fluctuations xD
I have everything thrown on ultra, but there are some options that impact more than others, one being parallex occlusion (the bumpy ground, generally), and the next being real time reflections.
If it's none of those things, I would double check what's actually going on per core on the processor, try taking FF off of the first core if it's sitting there (set affinity), and you can try making it a higher priority process to confirm if something else running is the issue
/long comment
@@Ekoyuhale hey thanks for the long comment. I really appreciate you taking the time typing those out.
I’m using an I7-12700K, the entire system is newly built about a month ago and I didn’t see any problem with the cores or other running components :/
I have most settings thrown on Ultra (running 2K) and limiting my in game FPS at 144hz (I have a 4K 144hz monitor).
Losing FPS to XIV's limiter is a persistent issue, it's the main reason everyone complained until they added the none option back when they tried to force it
かっこいいね。これはHEAVENSLEGENDを名乗るに相応しい。
I don’t play these contents, but why do DRK get the DP and not DPS?
in openers, DRK actually out dpses the DPS, so it's optimal to put dance partner on them. If it's on me outside of openers... dancer forgot
How many attempts?
1845 LOL. It can be done in FAR less with better consistency, it was a struggle until some talks
@@Ekoyuhale I saw the 150+ page guide and noped out of attempts.
I respect the grind.
@@SadBirbHours oh goodness. I can't say I've ever seen the guide, but that sounds horrific

I wish there was a normal version of this, people like me never have and most likely never will do an ultimate
That makes no sense.
@@ETIENNELIVE can you read?
there is a normal version of this. is called the following. the vault dungeon, nidhogg extreme fight. and the trial with thordan. ultimates are not meant to have "normal version" they are MEANT to be the hardest content out there for people who wish to push their limits. this is not for everyone.
@@SuguSugux there is absolutely no normal version of this, idk what game you’re playing. Why put such an interesting fight in the game and only a small percentage of player will ever do it? Makes no sense, there should be an easier version with less rewards and easier mechanics.
@@kingrushy4533 there's not so quit whining about it
I don't remember this when I was Birb farming 🤔
