wonderful. Love Cuban coffee empanadas amazing will take croquettes to mmmm . Love the Cuban community there its been a while since been to Miami . Defo Cuban sandwiches rock made me hungry SANGUICH topped it off well done David :)
I like that you gave some History of Cuba ...this is good to know as to how the people came to Miami. The Cuban influence is really important there,,the foods ..Empanadas...and the Burgers look rally delicious...and their coffees... the various types ans the restaurant,,,,beautiful paintings, This was interesting to watch, Thanks David and safe travels...Blessings.
Hopefully I can visit one or more of these places in Miami in the future. I’m a foreign medical student in Cuba and I love their pasteles de guayaba y queso (not both flavors together) 🤤 it’s embarrassing to eat in public tho with all the flakes flying all over 😂 I’ve never seen the frita Cubana before.
Many thanks.what an enjoyable video, appreciate the young ladies open mindedness to try such foods and explore for they are out of their comfort zone.foods look ove the top yummy..much love..one love..respect.
Finally i get the try Miami food after you had so much fun in Trinidad & Tobago Definitely will be heading to El Palacio de los Jugos later today and Sanguich later on in the week Thanks for all the great videos 👍🏼 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
There's so much more food for him to have shown but it's okay I love the fact that he's just showing love to the Cuban culture as a Cuban I feel like he underplayed our food but that's fine la frite is the number one will we have so much more to offer he should definitely show more of our food
You GOTTA do a video on Sarussi's Cuban sandwiches! I found Sanguich to be good, don't get me wrong, but not enough to justify the price for me. Like, it didn't press any of my nostalgia buttons. Maybe because it was so well balanced. I really like traditional cuban sandwiches I used to be able to get from the ventanitas back in the day much better. And perhaps it's because of the punchy flavors. Sarussi, however, does a great deviation that definitely sets it apart but is still undeniably a cuban sandwich.
I live in Miami Dade county and went to Pinecrest bakery in Pinecrest and ate croquetas and pastelito and drink Starbucks peppermint mocha hot at home while watching this video I searched u guys thanks for saying the Castro regime is a regime I wasn t born in Cuba but my parents were
dude, i am currently looking at the sanguich de Miami menu, because we wanted to go and I'm like wait a minute, I'm sure David has been there let me check it out, and behold you went, awesome lmao.
oh absolutely I did! And I still go whenever I want a great Cuban sandwich, one of the best if not THE BEST! Hope you enjoyed it and also may the tingles be with you (asmr). My producer is an asmrtist actually.
Lets count david's most used word per every video: (right) 😂🤣hahaha 😅 🙋🏾♀️Tasty video beautiful Miami... Right? Hahaha😆 🤦🏽♂️#GotaGiveHimAHardTime: Right?? Driving me nuts with it. Lol😎
those two girls looked about as interested as being in high school algebra. they were boring. other people would have been way more thrilled and appreciative.
Gm David. Loved the video but these young ladies didn't look enthusiastic about anything. Maybe they were shy. However, I am happy that you picked two foreigners but I couldn't tell if they really enjoyed the food. The food however: too greasy. Mind you, I enjoyed the video but a bit of enthusiasm would have been the order of the day. Anyway, you always do a great job no matter the circumstance. Keep it up.❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦
I have lived in Miami for 37 years. I have been to Versailles many times. It is an overrated tourist trap serving bland Cuban food. I can't respect any foodie who recommends this as a top place in Miami to eat Cuban food. Versailles is known more as an epicenter of political activism rather than the quality of its food. There are countless other places serving better Cuban food. Islas Canarias Restaurant, Havana Harry's, and Rio Cristal just to name a few.
Then as somebody who has lived in Miami for 37 years, you know that for a FIRST TIMER visiting Miami, visiting Versailles is similar to visiting Joe's Stone Crab. They are both institutions in a city that is rapidly changing. I don't disagree with anything you said but at the same time I hope you can understand why I included it for first timers. Also the atmosphere on a busy weekend can be exciting for a visitor. I've done a ton of other videos on other restaurants including Cuban spots in many videos over the years so hopefully that provides a bit more context. That said, I think your comment includes valuable information and may you continue to enjoy delicious food Richard.
@Davidsbeenhere Yes. Both Versailles and Joe's Stone Crab are Miami institutions. That is where the similarities end though. Joe's is more than just the name. They prepare some of the city's top seafood dishes along with their famous key lime pie. Even their fried chicken is outstanding considering the fact that it is primarily a seafood establishment. Versailles rests on its reputation as a site for protestors to congregate anytime there is a shift in policy in Cuba. Versailles croquetas are filled with breading inside (lacking ham) making them an inferior croqueta compared to most bakeries and Cuban restaurants in the city. Their pastelitos are stale tasting and their main entrees (ropa vieja, vaca frita, etc.) served inside the restaurant are overpriced and lack flavor and seasoning. I would hope to see other authentic restaurants make your list. Restaurants that thrive based on food quality rather than atmosphere. El Rey De Las Fritas and Sanguich de Miami are great places that excel in specific foods (fritas and sandwiches). Personally, I think El Mago De Las Fritas makes better fritas than El Rey.
These girls were either super nervous or they didn't want to be there at all! 🤣
The Cuban culture sounds incredible, everything looks so yummy,I wish I was there to have some...maybe on day.love your videos

Porto's is a very popular Cuban bakery chain in LA.

I live in Miami and never been to Versailles, it’s more or a tourist trap
how do you know its a tourist trap if youve never been?
@@Ninjanugets123 exactly. Some people don't think before they speak.
Versailles is an institution. Fiesta en su Boca
Judging a place that you have never visited? What a moron
I go to local spots, Versailles is for idiots that don’t know squat, plus they had a prostitution problem a few years ago.
Can u please take them to get Trinidadian food pleasee would love to see that
🇨🇺🇨🇺🇨🇺
