Im really surprised that they didnt have infiltration of water from the river when digging the flame trench at Masseys.

They spent a lot of time deeply pumping stuff into the ground there to harden it just for that fact.

So what is the drainage holes they were digging in Launch Pad B? How does that work? Do you know of any video, graphics or forum documenting it?
Also are they going to be able to insert piles of reinforced concrete to avoid the OLM and the Tower from sinking in the terrain without disturbing the drainage system?

S26 will either be the tanker prototype or the Artemis elevator test article perhaps.

the original OLM took over a year to be constructed, it felt forever, if you can remember .. so .. i wonder, how fast we see a new one ;) tbh, i'm really surprised that we haven't seen something of it already ..

They are waiting on the rights to use the small strip of wetlands before starting major construction.

It almost doesnt look big enough for booster static fire does it?

Booster static fires will remain on the OLM.

    • @SlartiMarvinbartfast

There's no chance whatsoever of SpaceX doing booster static fires using the new Massey's flame trench with the current setup, a much taller stand would be needed for one thing, and then you have the issue of stability. It's ship only for now.

With the changes to the OLF not needing to Cryo the booster on the OLM. The pumps will probably have a much better lifespan since the Methane and LO2 are not nearly as cold. That is probably why SpaceX had so many Pump swaps in the past. 🤓
