- Hi guys, recently, I had to move out of the city of Calgary, AB. to a remote place, I likened it to my village back home in Nigerian because of the lack of some social amenities, low population and lack of fun activities that I'm used to.
Its definitely a huge change for me but I really enjoy the peace and quiet it provides. Maybe I'm trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel 😂.

😂😂😂😂😂😂, Johnson the village boy! Love watching your videos. This is how i moved to a small city here in Ontario becoz of work, and the Ugandan in me couldnt let me rest. I had to move back to my former city i was living in. It was small but not as small as the one i had just moved in. The city was full or many retired people, not enough stores, bad transportation system. I Japad from there like you Nigerians say😂😂. You are surely in a municipality. I dont even want to feel your pain. Like you said in your description, it could be you seeing at the end of the tunnnel😂😂. You are fun to watch. Waiting for more videos.

On a serious note, there is something refreshing about taking a break from the city to a small town (my opinion). I moved to a small town during covid; life was happening but that move was just what I need at that point. This may not be everyone's cup of tea though.

My friend moved to the Prarie region in Alberta as well. She got a job to teach the native Canadians. There is hardly roads there and it is rather rural. She moved to another rural area close to Yellowknife. Only 516 people live there. It is cold and lacks even basic medical care.

When I first moved to Canada long time ago from multimillion population to small cold and flat city called Saskatoon 😂 it was challenging. But now Saskatoon is actually much bigger and nicer than before,when I visited it not long time ago I couldn't recognize it.
This is interesting. What are the things you think our government can emulate in that small village? I'm sure they will have the basics amenities such as good roads, electrification, primary health care etc. I won't be surprised if some of the natives haven't been to Toronto or Ontario all their lives. Please let we young folks try to check out things we see that are good in that small village in Alberta and advocate for good development in our rural area in Naija. Majority of our rural areas are underdeveloped. Rural development is important for any Nation. Good luck in Hardisty.
Thats the kind of place that i love to stay,quiet area,very few blacks. i have been enjoying such place since i travel to china,very less drama area.
