I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago and thus have a Caribbean passport. A few years ago I was taking my mom to Croatia (no visa requirement for us in the EU) and I remember immigration holding us back as the officer could not believe that we were neither British or American and yet we needed no visa. She called her supervisor as she was still in disbelief and the supervisor said please just stamp their passport and let them through. Then I realised how fortunate we are. Am happy for you and we open our arms to you and accept you as a Afro Caribbean brother.
This sounds like discrimination
Trinidad and Tobago are in America, my sweet sister, The United States is only one country in America, have you ever heard of the OAS, go and google it and read up on it history on it's own website, and there is a regional financial institution called the IDB, which stands for the Inter American Bank.
These are the trivial things that we've learnt as children, however in brief mention, as our educator are unaware of what it is they are really teaching us, then there are those government officials, who are trying to indoctrinate us to a delusional existence, because of their horrible experiences growing up and living during the colonial ruling era.
So now you know, you are America, you are just from one country, in a collective region called the Caribbean, and a wider region called the West Indies, remember these things.
@@thelivingroom6172 How do you think it's discrimination? It isn't.
It is just quite unusual for many small nations (citizens), particularly Island nations, to not need a visa to go into many countries, not just re Europe.
It's only about re where (would think) visas be required, and not. That's all.
There are some other Nations passports besides British & U.S. Passports that you won't need a visa, for Some countries, but of the 200+ Nations most of those (citizens) will require a visa to visit most countries.
[Google the 'Countries Passports Index' & best to have (top will surprise), & scroll down to see which aren't so good - there's a few that will surprise, down that end.
My country's passport can get you into a number of countries without a visa, but my next door neighbour not only got stopped as didn't have visa (when didn't need one), but didn't even get into a country. Definitely no racism. And his girlfriend was ok'd in, as she had a different country's passport as is a Dual Citizen.
Even when might not need a visa, depends how long will be there, & for my country it's max 90 days (can be non consecutive, but no more than for total of one 6 month period) for 27 EU countries. Other EU, need a visa.
The U.S. (short-terms) visa waiver program applies to only 40 countries. [Includes Croatia]
EU's is split into regions, so may need for one region, but not another.
[I think that may be what caused the confusion for custom's officer].
Also, while may not need a visa, for some places, very often do require a Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA/ETA) instead.
Go to your own government's information site/s, find re travel/visas, & it may surprise you where you need a visa for, & where you don't.
The countries included or excluded re any particular country's passport & if need a visa if coming from there, changes all the time. In 2019 may not needed a visa, in 2024 may
**My comments Only relate to Staceymet's comment, that you replied to.

bro, I am literally crying watching this video. I can feel that pain you experienced. I am recently got denied from US and Canada because of holding Pakistani passport, I know there are many other factors to get denied but passport plays a major role in it. I literally cried whenever I got denied but I am not loosing my hope and I am not stop trying.........
What about trying other countries like the UK, or even a European country like Finland or whatever. Once you live enough in those country to be a citizen, you'll be able to travel to the US or Canada, and try to apply for a job and get residency there.
I'm not saying that's your case, but in my opinion, some people are sometimes too fixated in one or two countries instead of broadening their horizons.
There are many immigrants in France that live in the forest and try every single day to illegaly cross the border to England. We have the same standard of living in France but it looks like to them they're in a third world country and England is a first world country and that's where they need to go. I know they have a much bigger community in the UK, but still. Instead of puting their strenght into making a life in France and once they get residency or citizenship they could more easily cross the border and carry on with their lives in England.
Anyway, good luck to you. But broaden your horizons. I've been to Canada not in the US, but no country is a Paradise. Most first world countries have the same living standard. If you want to stick to your community, like many who come to Europe, the best place is to stay in your country. That's logical.
It’s very sad Nigerians had this dilemma. Even having Nigeria as your birthplace on a Canadian passport has been a challenge, because people has questioned its authenticity. I’m Ghanaian whose Nigerian born and Canadian raised from arriving to Canada as a toddler. Nigerians are proud and determined and I respect and appreciate it. My beautiful wife is Nigerian.
Nigerians should take accountability and leadership in sorting out this bad reputation. Coz innocent Nigerians suffer the consequence of bad apples.

Im from st. Lucia and i take it for granted having such freedom to travel with my psssport but seeing how my other African bothrs n sisters being treated so badly ....and the huge difference a Caribbean passport makes is truly inspiring and emotional .....enjoy,! ❤
Very inspiring
Does Jamaica and Haiti 🇭🇹 enjoy the same benefits?
@@duchesstyrathose are pretty weak passports similar to Nigeria
@@duchesstyra regarding Jamaica it must be weaker for sure 😂 I feel like all of Jamaica moved to Nyc, Toronto and London. A lot of legal and illegal immigration.
@@sonderexpeditions it’s true I’ve met so many Jamaicans in London and Toronto 😁
Thank you for investing in our small island! I too am from St. Kitts and I'm a huge fan of your videos! Continue the great work!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳🇰🇳
I hope your still happy when more restrictions are added to our travel as more people so easily access our passport. Soon visas will be harder for born caribbean citizens to get 😂 lets see what next government's would sell.
@@rockyharris4606 More tears bro 🪣
People like him making the program looks bad and getting a bad image he don't deserve it he can't even afford it
I am on the same point. I been waiting for freedom my whole life as a Brazilian... I admire your journey thanks for sharing
This is great, as a born American I never realize how privledged we are. You are a soldier,.. all of you are.
As an African American congratulations to you. This is beautiful. The ability to travel the world is freedom. In the future I hope the perspective of Nigerians change, but finding a way to control your future is remarkable and should not be taken for granted.
tayo is a great blogger from nigeria and witha good attitude. cleaning nigeria reputation globally wont be easy..
Thank you to every Nigerian making positive impact on the global stages. Thank you Tayo ❤️🔥👑
I am so, so happy for you ! Having travelled in over 100 countries (including Nigeria in 1982), thanks to my French passport, I understand your thirst to discover the world and discover how the peoples of the world are so kind and generous, so rich of diverse cultures, still so much the same with same wishes, except for the 2-3% of people of power, whatever the kind of power, political, financial, etc... who make the world a nightmare for so many. I am 70 and wish to add another 50 more countries to my list ! I wish you to fulfill your dream !
I rarely comment on videos on UA-cam, but your pure joy of unlocking so many opportunities of future traveling made me emotional. I do wish you to feel the same joy and happiness in the countries that you will be visiting next. You sir have a new subscriber. Best of luck!
Well deserved, Tayo.
I am a Nigerian living in Australia and have an Australian passport. I know how you must have felt when you didn't have the new passport.
With your new passport I am glad that the world will now be able to see the rest of the world through you. Cheers!
I had no idea you could get a citizen through donation. I learned something. Congrats man! You need to visit your new country of citizen next.
Its done in Canada as well. That's one route Hong Kong Chinese took. It's more expensive tho it used to $800,000 investment.
Your story gave me chill and hope. Thank you for sharing and your generosity 🙏🏼
It's not easy to have friends who are so supportive. That your friend that first supported you with $1000 and advised you on how to get the rest is a gem.
Congratulations Tayo.
Friend like this is so rare, I can remember the year I acquired a Bahrain 🇧🇭 visa 2022,I can’t even get just $500 to add up for my flight booking💔😔 I pray GoD give everyone watching this video a good supportive people around them who can always have their back 🤲🏼
As a black American who just got their passport last year, I didn’t know how privileged I was until I started hearing stories like yours. I’m happy for you from America and hope to see you on your travels.
😂😂😂😂 African Americans
Wow! How much did you pay for the passport,?
Liberian.😂
I don't understand your privilege. You can only travel within the USA without a passport so I don't get what you are trying to say. I got my passport very late, I was 16 years old before that, I had never travelled before into another country.
@@tweetyslife253 I understand what she is conveying. It is a privilege to have American passport. This is coming from a person who travelled a great deal.
Happy to witness this journey of the skinny tall man with a beard and a camera from the streets of Nairobi to the rest of the world. Godspeed.
I saw this video and had to subscribe. Welcome to the Caribbean brotherhood
Let’s take this man to a million subscribers, the journey hasn’t been easy but it’s been conquered more wins to come.
It will take generations to undo the damage the Nigerian government has heaped on the average Nigerian citizen. Watching this as a Naturalized US based Nigerian with both a blue and green passport infuriates me.
We cannot continue like this as great as Nigerians are individually. Nigeria as a country however is a different case.
Congrats Tayo. Keep it up.
I think there are two sides to this. One is that Nigerians are quick to forget that they share nationality with members of two of the world's deadliest terrorist groups. Nigeria isn't just the South. If Nigeria regains its peace and prosperity, the passport will regain its respect. The flip side is that the West deliberately wants to keep Africa down. They want to maintain their control of the world order. Colombia and Mexico have brutal drug cartels, Italy has the Mafia, Saudi Arabia had Bin Laden etc so why are their citizens not discriminated against ? By making Nigerians pay for passports, PRs, expensive degrees etc they continue to drain Africa of labour and capital. I think these policies are deliberate.
Being a successful tourist hasn’t been easy though 😔 congrats ones again my brother 🥰I love ❤️ u
Congratulations🎉 you did it man, the world waiting for you, enjoy 😊
Congratulations TAYO! You see that friend who offered to kick off with the first $1000? He is the real one! That’s a dream builder right there. I love him - pls give him a hug when next you see each other.❤
Spot on! Someone who believes in the dream and doesn't think it's "your fantasy" like everyone would say. Such an inspiring video Tayo I really loved how you portray the struggle we face as Nigerians travelling to realize our BIG dreams, how you highlight another avenue to making this a reality and the queue jitters of being examined or stopped over. Wonderful thing you're doing! Hope your channel grows beyond your wildest expectations opening up opportunities for you.
Big Respect bro. Those of us born with American citizenship have no idea how fortunate we are. I can't believe how many people here don't have Passports.
Can you please help me relocate to America, the land of my dreams?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Amazing I am also hoping to travel
It is terrible in Africa
Bro we have people who haven’t even crossed state lines 😂😂😂😂
@@roselinealice8869 Sorry to hear that. That makes me appreciate what I have even more.

Dope video brother it’s amazing to see black people exploring and connecting internationally. It’s definitely a new era, great content 🙌🏾
I am born a US citizen but always felt that i belonged somewhere else. You made ne realize that I AM a World citizen and will continue my travels throughout the world. May your journeys continue to enlighten many.
First video of yours I've come across and it was a great one. Enough to get me to subscribe! This was a good story with an happy ending and I am happy for you brother. Congratulations...now go see EVERYTHING! You deserve it!❤
Your growth has been totally inspiring bro, thank you for starting your travel documentary.
The realization of how much freedom you lack hits different.
Now, I want freedom. 🥺
This got me emotional. Imagine having all this potential only to be limited by your nationality.
I’m genuinely happy for you Tayo, it’s worth every penny...And to everyone out there with great dreams but limited in any way, may you break free from your limitations, Amen.
Wow, man, Brother Tayo - congratulations brother, and thank you so much for showing us the world. Like many other patriots behind you, I am so hooked to your content. Keep moving my leader. Greetings from South Africa.
Inspired. Thank you 🇿🇦❤️🇳🇬
This made me cry. I'm thrilled for you! Your perseverance and refusal to give up on your dream despite obstacles is admirable.
Congrats man. I've been subscribed for a little bit and love seeing the growth, and I hope for much more. I am from St. Kitts (SK as we like to call it lol) but live in Florida now. I am so happy my little island's passport is able to ease some of your travel hurdles, and in turn your investment will go a long way to help my (now our) people. Welcome my Kittitian brother, connected by history and now by nationality as well 😁🇰🇳
Beautiful comment
great kudos to you bro, i love your videos, you make them good. happy for the progress youve made over the years. dont stop growing, we arre solidly behind you. Go tayo! proud of you bro.
Thank you so much 🙏🏾
I actually subscribed earlier today. I watched a couple of your videos (my requirement before subscribing). Great quality in your product. Continued success.
Congratulations Tayo. This is quite emotional and it will surely go viral. Nigeria is a great country, but for some unscrupulous folks. Nigeria is indeed a great and beautiful place 😢
We hope when the bad guys hear of this your beautiful achievement, they won't also rush into the bandwagon to get other citizenships to continue their nefarious acts, thereby blocking the chances of other Nigerians who wants to do great legitimate things around the world. They created unnecessary problems in Dubai, Seychelles etc for young Nigerians. This should be a season of soul searching for all.
U know nothing... nja citizen didn't cause any problem in Dubai but rather buhari govt too the money the sold for plane ticket in nigeria for their airline can't repatriate their export proceeds made from ticket said because their is no dollars in the bank or cbl
I am so happy to see you got your Caricom passport. Welcome brother visit the Caribbean islands and South American Countries. Your Nigerian Ancestral family is here!
congratulation my dear well done and I'm very happy for you have achieve your dream, I'm now a joined member of your channel, happy days. Keep going...
God's willing I will get a passport like this someday soon
Congratulations,my Brother
I love my fellow Nigerians because we are relentless......
It's always difficult for us Nigerians and how we are treated on the international stage, but it's good to see our people from here finding ways to persevere and beat those hurdles. We are proud of you Tayo 👏
We are proud of him but I would have paid off my mortgage off with that 150,000usd
@@skqq3250Please understand even though he have that passport he will never been seen as a citizen of that country nor the Caribbean.
The good thing about the passport is he can go live or work and do business in the OECS without having to apply for a work permit or stay.
I genuinely got emotional watching this Tayo. There’s so much that is being denied Nigerians because we are Nigerian. I’m really happy you’re forcing your way through the world and its barriers.
You’re a shining light to the rest of us Nigerians who only want to live right, achieve the lofty goals we’ve set for ourselves and affecting the world positively.
Keep going Tayo!
Lmao it's like that for literally half of the world's population, not just Nigerians
You do tell really great stories! And by sharing your story of the pain you experienced through discrimination, you help me to appreciate my own freedom to travel the world that I have taken for granted. I have traveled to nearly 20 countries and have now lived in six. Thank you! 🙏
Wow! What a real positive story, I was crying when you got off at Heathrow. Good luck on more travels around the world. Congratulations!
Tayo I am so happy about your Caribbean citizenship. Im South African and know a lot of educated and successful Nigerians with good professions and businesses so I can’t understand why Nigerians are given a hard time just because of the minority who do bad, when the majority of Nigerians do good
Ahhh the "minority" of rotten apples are just too many...almost outnumber the ones who are professional...look at Hillbrow ahhh no, I understand why they are restricted all over.
@@motherofcubs How do you define many? what parameters are you using if you have any? This sound like personal bias IMO....don't forget that Nigeria is 200+ million people. Here is data for you according to a 2022 Pew Research Center report, 64% of Nigerian-born Black immigrants aged 25 and older have a bachelor's or advanced degree. Guess work another data point, over 77% of black doctors in America are Nigerians. Another data point, Tope Awotona is the richest black immigrant in the US who owns a legit tech company solving problem. Nigeria is becoming a hub for tech and will continue. And trust me there are so many datapoint to support legit and professional Nigerians. Again, show me the proof/data point that shows the minority are just too many!! let's have a cordial conversation and not based on prejudices on preconceived biases. Just because in the US you hear of and see lots of crazy people shooting innocent people in schools and mall, and yes they are a lot here doesn't mean that all US citizens should be known for killing innocent people.......Well it is a shame that most people judge a whole country just based on the mishap by a few people in proportion to its population.
@@motherofcubs well said.
@@motherofcubsor you just xenophobic so all south Africans are saints , so who rob people in Capetown? Are the colored gangsters nigerians too, there's no country that foreigners commit more crime than its citizens
I love and respect some Nigerians a lot but please the Nigerians here in South Africa its actually the other way around only 10% of them do good while they rest are in illegal businesses. Lets not lie,yes its wrong to put them in the same bracket however a majority of them are not representing their country well.
Extremely proud of you! Welcome to the Caribbean community! From Jamaica!🖤🇯🇲 🇳🇬 🇰🇳
