Great video and very informative but everyone should note, the rear trim can be very easily removed WITHOUT removing the bumper. Same goes for the front trim, but the front bumper is so easy to remove, you might as well do it make the job easier. Thanks!
How do you go about popping those tabs out easier? I was scared I was gonna break mine just pulling as it seemed like they wouldn’t depress and when I reinstalled it didn’t want to fully seat again but it’s in
First off-You did a great job on this! The car has great personality and this video is perfect! But, I can’t get over how white, red, and black look so good on this car! I’d like to see someone show how to swap interior colors from performance blue to red for the seat belts and dash trim to match all the red parts you just took off. 😂 Any chance you’ll add some vinyl for more performance blue accents? Maybe paint the brakes performance blue to match? Again, awesome job!
Thank you, for the video. That is a lot of work, to remove cheesy stuff that should never have been put on the car. It looks a LOT better than before. But I would have made them black, less is more. LOL
Well the red Veloster n comes with black trim, so there is potentially oem black trim pieces out there. Just have to search the internet and forums for them!
@@adrianruvalcaba4381 haha that's why I said "potentially". I can't find it either lol. Try looking at oem Hyundai part websites. I just went ahead and sanded and painted my trim pieces black so it would be more permanent than a wrap job.
It is all about making your car unique to you and how you want to build it! That's what the N brand is all about. Now it does not look like every other white Veloster N on the road and it looks much better in person, the video dulls out the brightness of the blue.

Any chance you know how to remove the side skirts?

The plan is to paint the brakes calipers to performance blue eventually. We have a few modifications to do before that so stay tuned!

LOL
Another option that is a lot less work would be to cover the trim with vinyl wrap. You could also change it to whatever color you like that way.
aye! looks amazing without the red trim, would be sick if they had after market black trim replacements

@@clappin.cheeks don’t know why I didn’t think of this but I can’t find it anywhere

This comment is late to the game, but SoCal Garage Works has carbon fiber pieces if you got the $$$ for them!
Actually I broke my right front trim piece and ordered a new one and they come unpainted so If you want black you could just go to the dealer
Should have kept the red
Why would you want to remove the red trim? It’s one of the identities of the VN.
For the purpose of customizing things to your liking. I dont love the red but yet a lot of “sporty” cars like to throw red on the car
Red is such a boring color and it screams "boy racer". The Civic Type-R suffers from the same awful red trim.
People might mistake you for a Forester with the 'sport' package!
Did you remove the side skirts to wrap? Nice vid, just subbed. Keep it up please!
We wrapped the side skirts on the car.
SHIT. I was going to do this, but I guess I can't be the first.. fml lol
Love the video, I need to repair my rear bumper. You save me hours of headache! Thank you!
I want to do this to my black vn! But I'll probably do the calipers to match and black out my head and tail lights 😎
Great choice of color wrapping
Amazing video!
Excelent video, very informative
Looks great 👍
Step 1: You don't
Did you wrap the side skirts on the vehicle or did I somehow miss the removal of those trim pieces on the video?
We wrapped the side skirts on the car.
Damn I like it
What wheels are these? Thanks
They are Konig Milligrams, they are a discontinued wheel.
@@PartsHawk what's the fitment? Love the look
would of gone black tbh or even in some cf trim. love the veloN tho
Everyone does black accents/wheels/wrap/ look different my guy it’s 2020 shits wack af
this looks great!
Wow! What wheel/tire/suspension are you using?
Konig Milligrams 18x8.5, Tires are 245/40 Hankook RS4s and Godspeed lowering springs.
@@PartsHawk any rubbing with that tire and wheel set up?
@@PartsHawk No rub on 245s?
this is how it should've came from the factory
Nice! I'm planning on doing a gold wrap for the accents on a black Veloster :D
Put the red back on!
The red trim makes it pop. Not sure why you'd want to remove it. Now it looks like every featureless car out there.

@@PartsHawk Okay. The important is to personalize it as you said. Enjoy.
I agree put the red back on!!
