I have a 2012 Camero and still love the body style and can't bring myself to trade it in for the new Cameros. I wish they'd bring back the old body style. The front grill looks so much cooler and the curves are perfect.

Camaro styling is getting worse every year, I'm considering taking a step back and getting a 2013 ZL1 so I can get the good tail lights and styling. I'd like to somehow take the dash and and electronics of a 6th gen and put it in the 5th gen.

Good stuff, Matt. That camera in the shark fin is wild. I'd really like to put that on my '18. Less like a rear-view mirror and more like a rear camera than the '19s that have the cam in the spoiler. I like that also, but gotta be way cheaper and easier to buy a cam & replace the fin than buying a cam & replacing a spoiler.
Thanks for the updates. Here is a few things that you missed. I have been creating my build with my salesman for my new 2020 Camaro. And the base price for a 1LT is $27,500.00. For $34,000.00 I can work on a 3LT. On any of the Camaros there are all choices for caliper colors as well as knee pad colors to match what you want. And do know that if you want the 3.6L engine it will cost $1595.00 extra on any of the 6 cylinder engines. The 2.0L turbo engine is standard in these. I am looking at the 3LT for specific reasons that the 1 and 2LT dont have. Hope this helps.

Is the passenger dash on the 2020 1LT 3.6 manual the same as the 2019? I am just trying to see if the 19 dash is same as 20. I want to add some carbon fiber to the dash and it says "fits" on the 2019 and doesn't on 20? I thnk they are exactly the same. But I don't know for sure. Please let me know. The V6 has power that just goes and goes. Its savage up high with my tremec 6 speed. My shifter is notchy and not of Honda/Acura/Mercedes quality...but most of these cars are even or slower than my car, and the ATS/CTS Chassis gets the job done. It is my dream car that crushes the 1987 IROC-Z I had on my wall! Now I have a Z-51 suspension as stock. I blasted down an old country road and felt secure and never ending upper RPM Power. If it was any faster they would need 4 piston brakes on the rear too. But I am happy with 4 piston calipers on the front.
As a dodge owner I know you guys will roast me so I won’t bother... BUT I was thinking if they added just 50+ horsepower maybe it won’t add any diff In times so they might need to add a significant amount and tire changes to get faster 0-60s etc.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a huge Chevy and camaro fan I own a 2016 2ss but they need to keep up with the times/tech the touchscreen interface needs updating the gauge cluster needs updating and still no automatic lane keeping/ self driving capabilities for the camaro even when it’s on other models it’s basically been the same car since 2016 just a few changes here and there cosmetics wise and the a10 of course I would like to see other changes but oh well, still better than mustang/challenger in my opinion when my 2016 can outmatch a 2019 mustang I guess they are doing something right
Hey, great honest videos, thx!! You may know, being a Mopar guy thinking of a Camaro, does the SS2 (non 1lE) or SS2 1LE have the Tremec short throw or is that just the ZL1, for example Ford only has the Tremec in GT350.
The one thing i really wish Chevy would bring back is the t-top maybe t top roof , hell a panoramic roof or maybe a hardtop convertible like the corvette but besides that more colors
I've got a 19 ZL1 and installed the 1LE carbon fibre wing. I had to disconnect the rearview camera in the original spoiler. Is there anything available to mount the camera into so it will work again? I don't really want to drill holes in the new spoiler or trunklid. Will definitely look into a new sharkfin camera version if they come available.
still not a fan of the 19 front end. i really hope the flow tie being moved makes me think otherwise but im still in love with the 16-18 front end more so. waiting on my lease to end so i can get back into my chevy's....
Why Chevy doesn't offer new interior colors for the zl1? The same interior color no matter what color your car is lame. The competition offers two or three different interior colors in their vehicle. Also Chevy is losing the horsepower wars, I don't know what hell they waiting for but drop the Zr1 engine in it already. Redeye 797 hp, gt500 760hp , SCREW these new exterior colors and get back in the race. It seems GM is not fighting for the Camaro and want it to die a slow death!!!!

I was also wondering if the 2020 camaro ZL1 will get a facelift with the new LED headlights and turn signals as well? Since I'm living in Switzerland the law sets a new emissions prescription forcing all new cars being produced after August 2019 to obtain the EURO 6d regulations. Camaro 2019 has "only" the EURO 6b, therefore it won't be allowed to be sold as a new car after August 2019, what leads to a production stop in Europe. Can i import a camaro ZL1 to Switzerland from the US after Augsut 2019 despite the new prescription?
You are not alone my friend. I am a huge Mustang fan, I have owned two of them and normally would never consider buying a Mopar or Camaro. The Mustang is the fugly one out of the 3 muscle cars today. Camaro and Challenger still look American. The Mustang looks like an knock off Jaguar.

I’ve seen quite a bit of roll runs with stock A10 vs A8 cars and the A10’s always pulling the A8’s pretty good

The LT4 650 hp is just ok. Should be increased to at least 700 hp or LT5 engine should be put in ZL1 IMO.

It’s not super easy, but is possible. The issue is the shipping cost as they have a firing mechanism attached and are hazardous.
