Love the content kym, offering a perspective no one else is giving. Just out of curiosity do f1 cover and of your fight, ticket and accommodation costs?
Kim - you need to show this to the F1 channel - I dont know how good your photos are but your vids are some of the best F1 related content out there - Liberty should hire you ... seriously
GabyCech He had just had lunch during one of the day is it testing in Barcelona last year and as he returned to the hospitality suite with his cutlery he was proud to show it off
Hi Kym. Great videos and insight, thank you. Do teams whose drivers don't do track walks have other team members complete a track walk, or do they just receive information about updates to the track via an advisory or the like? Many thanks.
Sir, we wold like to see, on STREET circuits, weekends, how the trucks arrive at paddock parking lot, and how the truckers make their final turns from the city limits to get to racing track. Thank you!!!
these are some nice tips, kym. i also stumbled upon paddock entrance after the race in singapore 2011 (the only gp i've ever been to) and got to meet almost every drivers and some team bosses. but do fans usually have to find it themselves or is it announce somewhere?
Hi man. I'm a big fan of your photography. I want to ask you a question. Do you prefer to shoot in raw (giving you the advantage for some "cleaner" editing) or do you prefer some kind of compression(like jpg. for example)?
Orestis Papanikolaou I ahoot to one card in raw and the other in JOG as a back up. I keep the jpg card in there all race and download them to me PERTH hard drive at end of each race and I work from the RAWs.
@@KymIllman Thank you really much! I really appreciate taking some time off of your day to answer. I just started my photography journey and I can't make my mind what to choose. I've experimented a lot with editing and I can say I pretty much got it. So I'm thinking of choosing raw. If you have any advise for me as of why to stay in raw or to choose any other format feel free to write me. Again thanks a lot!
Hi Kym, I really enjoy your presentations. Cool, calm and collected. Please try and replace the word America with the US or USA. There is no such place as America. There is North, Central and South America. In North America there is Canada and the United States - after which the GP is named. Thank you for your consideration.
No driver walked past that part of the track where Dan hit the path last year. They enter the track at the end of pit lane and return at the pit lane entry.
I love this kind of inside information, keep it going!
mike talens will do.

The paddock (and the entrances I believe) are clearly marked on all of the event programs
Thanks Kym, would love to know more about the industry behind spy photography
I don't know a great deal. More research required.

Do you take a break during off season?
BlueFlag Alpha yes.
Love your Videos Kym. Hope you can feature our new F1 race director Masi
Mac Hernandez I need a lot more ammon in Michael for a video on him.
I think Vettel wishes he could have been a better older stepbrother to Verstappen.
You play music Mr. Kymster?
Dastrio I do. Piano is my choice of weapon
@@KymIllman and the guitars in the background.... yours as well?

Dutch GP for the Dutch fans reaction to the new race.

@@KymIllman Not entirely sure what your response means.
if the fastest driver doesnt walk the track, then i dont see the point walking it
I've thought that too. But it doesn't stop 75% doing it.
Ricciardo: doesn't do a track walk.
Also Ricciardo: runs over a small hill and demolishes his front wing.

@ 0:27 Dutch Clowns Always trying to get the drivers into their comfort zone, or just pulling them out of it!
Funny guys
Vietnam circuit could make tons of crash r1 car
