- Join Daniel and Max on a sofa talking all things Formula One as we review our 2016 season. We get Max’s thoughts about the reaction to him joining Red Bull Racing, opinions about his driving and his feelings during the last few laps of the Brazilian GP. Daniel reveals where he thought he would finish at the start of the season, as well as reflecting on the Monaco GP and his win in Malaysia. We top things off with some light hearted chat between the pair about fame and good hair days!

Seeing this 5 years later makes me realise how much influence Daniel had over Max in him growing up. They were more like hard fought brothers than teammates which I really miss seeing ❤️

I feel sorry for kvyat but i mean the season got so much more interesting because of that switch, Max such an skilled driver and an absolute so much different personality that people are used to, which is not a bad thing in my opinion.

Daniel is so laid back he doesn't fall out with anyone. Max is similar. Both amazing racers. Both are quicker than Nico who just won the championship.
Nico was no slouch tho. Doesn’t get enough recognition for pushing Lewis to the max.

Daniel seems to be the most friendly and down to earth guy among the F1 drivers nowadays and at the same time extremely fast and very competent behind the wheel. Max is incredibly lucky to have a team mate like that. I hope we'll see both of them in the fight for the championship in 2017.
And Daniel is incredibly lucky to have Max as his team mate. Max learns from a 'veteran' and Daniel learns from a 'prodigy'!
They need each other.....the reason why RBR score that high this seasons is because they lifted each other to a higher level of racing!

That is just what i love they are fighting hard in tracks like in Malaysia but off track they are friendly and nice guys and get along well
Until they are fighting for the title. Could happen next year with new regulations. I like Verstappen but he can be as critical of his peers as the next F1 driver.
It would be nice if they stayed like this but every time the Championship is on the line, the gloves come off. Happened many times and will continue to happen. For now though Red Bull are in harmony. If they get a sniff of a title run it will be back to Seb vs Webber, like the old days :D
I think they both realise there is more to life then racing. And they both stay normal humble human beings despite all the attention. I don't see that change very quikly.

I swear this is the best driver combination you can wish for as a team. Two amazing drivers and they both have such a nice personality. All the best to Red Bull in 2017 and I hope they will both get a big shot at the title!

What a great insight into two top class guys.. Well done to both of you, especially for the final race of the year, but also into a changing landscape next year. I'm sure with success, it will be harder to keep the same personas, but you have both done your family and your country's proud.

These two guys sound like they can be a dynamic winning team for several more years. I would like to see BOTH Daniel AND Max on the Red Bull team for the next several years. Well done, Red Bull!
This was fantastic, thank you very much Red Bull Racing. The laid-back atmosphere and occasionally random and funny questions definitely contributed to a comfortable setting for both drivers, who obviously respect and get on with each other quite well in the first place, which made it possible to touch some more delicate subjects as well, without risking getting answers that are too politically correct and generic. Great fun, very well done Red Bull Racing. Perhaps it is an idea to set up a similarly styled interview with Christian Horner as well? I (and surely a lot of other people) would be interested in what his views on 2016 are!

Well this is great, excellent job guys. Glad they were so honest, it's refreshing! They seem to genuinely get on too, unlike Dan and Send who seemed so forced.
These things, as well as their great performances, is why I'm supporting RBR as a whole next year now JB's gone. Can't decide between them!

Whoa lots of hard questions, but they handled them very well.
They have such a nice chemistry..
I'm going to miss this team dynamic next year... It was really interesting to hear them talk about the rivalry between them in future years because that's exactly what happened. Max has consistently outqualified Dan recently and their fighting on track has led to tenseness in their relationship. The media doesn't always get it right, but man am I said that they predicted this.
I could imagine going for a pint with these two.
And good luck to both of you next year, hope daniel and max trys to bring red bull back to its Vettel days
Regarding the question about the cooling in Singapore and Malaysia... have total mercy on people who have to live there. I literally cannot survive a day without air conditioning, and its pointless just turning on the fan because you sweat even with the fan on, and people like me sometimes sweat even with air conditioning on. And if you open the windows, what you get is heat, and hot breeze.
Recently got into watching f1, so sad I didnt saw these guys before T.T
Daniel is ultra positive!! :D :D :D Best interview I've ever seen
so cliche but there is something very Senna and Prost about these two when Senna and Prost first became teammates. Daniel is so confident in his abilities but aware of Max's potential and Max is very determined to beat anyone he races against. If Red Bull deliver next year it will be awesome to watch them bring the best (and worst) out of each other.
