One for me that I really like and I know people don’t is the 2012 Sauber with the nose, nice and geometric, and straightforward. And the complex front wings and stuff. I really liked it

I'm so pleased that the Ferrari 640 & 641 get the recognition they deserve at the top spot. It's BY FAR the most beautiful F1 car ever made. Even as a young kid I absolutely adored that car. It's aesthetically perfect in every way imaginable, even the world famous MoMA art gallery in New York has a 641 on display. You know it's a masterpiece when even snobby art curators & critics recognize just how beautiful that car is.

In 1979 after winning the championship, Forgheri came up with the idea of automating the transmission in a way that the driver would not require to use a clutch pedal. The Ferrari 312 EVO was the fist mule (A modified 312 T3) they developed this until they aplied to the 640, but it wasn't very reliable, they solved this for the next year with the 641. Since 1993 almost every team use this transmission.

Gordon Murray is not only a legend on the circuit, but he also build the McLaren F1. One of the best street cars ever made.
This list basically shows us that cars from the late 80s/early 90s are the peak era on aesthetics for an F1 car, which is not a lie.
