Idk why this guy gets clowned on so much. This is absolutely great advice which absolutely will make a difference in most peoples' lives. He is not prescribing his optimised way of living to anyone, just sharing how you can take pointers from it.
Some of his actual full routine is nuts (just not realistic for most people or weird, I think he has like over 20 pills a day?), plus stuff like the blood from his son is weird, that combined with his look and the red lights really increases the vampire vibes. That being said he does give sound advice, in this and with his general cosmetic stuff.
@@InDwightWeTrust I totally agree that some of the stuff he does himself is batshit crazy but in all of his videos it is very clear that he is not suggesting anyone should actually do what he does.

Most elderly people have problems getting up off the floor. As a child you spend a lot of time on the floor, adults do not. Doing yoga / stretching exercises on the floor can improve balance, mobility, flexibility and the ability to get up and down.. My parents were used to sitting on the floor in general back in the day. They lived in traditional homes with floor seating and squat toilets, and I noticed that they have better flexibility than we do because although I spent a lot of time playing and doing my homework on the floor, we still grew up with modern furniture and toilets.
I love this type of content where you try to find compromise between optimal habits for longevity and regular life, since it aligns with what I've been trying to do for the past few years. Two points/observations from my own experience: 1. If you exercise for performance (and not overall health and longevity as Bryan does), you have to fuel accordingly and therefore some of the diet rules Bryan laid out might not be applicable to you (especially the timing part of your meals). 2. Do not avoid 'excessive' alcohol, avoid all alcohol. It is a poison with literally no beneficial effect health-wise and if you cannot have fun without it, you might have a bigger problem.

This man is overly criticised by people who don’t understand or never seen him speaking, I believe he genuinely cares and wants to make a great difference in improving human lives. The way he speaks is way better than most fitness influencers out there. He doesn’t talk down on anybody, speaks kindly, never says that you should do the exact same thing as he’s doing. It’s inspirational ✨
This is such an eye-opening approach to health! I love how you focus on simple, actionable steps without getting bogged down in the science. Especially the part about reframing sleep as a priority-I'm definitely going to try setting a consistent bedtime and sticking to it! The tips about diet and avoiding willpower struggles really resonate too. Thanks for sharing this! Curious to see what other habits we can build next!

I love the idea of firing the saboteurs in the team. I fired eating-animals me back in 2019 and snacking me left in 2021 closely followed by eating-after-7pm me. Last year meditating me joined the team along with not-caring-what other-people-think me. Six months ago alcohol-drinking me just stopped showing up for work.
This is so legit. You sound like me coaching clients for years but you are more eloquent. It's about the basics. Get the big rocks in place and the pebbles will fall in. Also you did what I never have which is record everything and show the evidence. Keep teaching man.
I agree. I’m wondering about… Frequency?Temperature of water? Any body products to steer clear of or any that are highly beneficial? Dry brushing, exfoliating? Filter for shower? What’s really worth the expense of time and money?
Nothing wrong with small amounts of alcohol occasionally. Also has a lot of uses outside of just drinking it for the sake of it. Wine and Beer are great for sauces. Stronger alcohol is good for extracting flavors (vanilla extract, liqueurs as desert flavorings). Alcohol isn't an issue. People who don't know what to do with it other than get wasted are the issue.
The only good alcohol does is as a disinfectant. Drinking your own pee is probably more healthy than alcohol, but you wouldn't add pee to your diet, not "just a little bit moderately" either.. but that's just my view, doesn't have to be yours as well
I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a me. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
Thanks for this excellent article. I have adopted most of the advice given and at seventy something am hoping to live healthy into my eighties. Really appreciate what you’re doing here.
6:00 >I want you to avoid smoking and "excessive" alcohol. Even small amounts of alcohol are harmful, Bryan. People who want to maximise their longevity shouldn't drink or smoke, period-no "occasional".
You think a guy who's dedicating his life to anti-aging doesn't know that lol? most likely he knows saying no alcohol consumption whatsoever will make people feel it's overly restrictive and disregard the whole thing

I love the idea of firing the saboteurs in the team. I fired eating-animals me back in 2019 and snacking me left in 2021 closely followed by eating-after-7pm me. Last year meditating me joined the team along with not-caring-what other-people-think me. Six months ago alcohol-drinking me just stopped showing up for work.
love this
This is so legit. You sound like me coaching clients for years but you are more eloquent.
It's about the basics.
Get the big rocks in place and the pebbles will fall in.
Also you did what I never have which is record everything and show the evidence. Keep teaching man.
Can you drop a shower routine or at least more on hygiene bc I've never seen that on your channel
I agree. I’m wondering about… Frequency?Temperature of water? Any body products to steer clear of or any that are highly beneficial? Dry brushing, exfoliating? Filter for shower? What’s really worth the expense of time and money?
.
you just wanna see him naked, be honest
“Change the norms.” That is simplistic gold that we need to survive and thrive!
You're so talented, keep making content!
Thank you, Brian. It is extremely important to find something to do for the evening 17.00-22.00. in order not to eat.
Read, yoga, tai chi, slow walk, chat to a friend...😊😊😊
Someday, this CHANNEL would be the MOST WATCHED, and reach 1BILLION SUBSCRIBERS.
SO MUCH INVALUABLE ADVANTAGES TO HELP HUMANITY❤
I'm changing my life, for a better tomorrow. Thank you!

Such brilliant advice, really well presented. I love the idea of building a community which recognizes how hard this all is.

Top quality content Bryan ✨
I think you're a very likeable guy and am grateful for all the research you undertake and share for free with everybody!
I thought your son was the thumbnail for a second XD
Man, Bryan is a lenitively nice guy! Thank you for the encouragement and wisdom.
just discovered this guy and I'm amazed (just to add: in a very positive way!)
He is amazing!
Really genuine guy, really wants the best life possible for everyone
Every human being should stop consuming alcohol.
Drinking your own pee is probably more healthy than alcohol, but you wouldn't add pee to your diet, not "just a little bit moderately" either.. but that's just my view, doesn't have to be yours as well
@@ToveriJuri Research increasingly seems to show that any amount of alcohol is harmful to a person's health.
cofee and smoking too
@@ToveriJuri Even a little amount taken is dangerous, alcohol is a poison. LEatest researches proving it too.
Thank you Bryan Johnson for sharing helpful information. Life saver.
I recommend everyone to find the book titled The Elite Society's Money Manifestation, It changed my life.

Such solid advice given in such a humble, understanding and well meaning way.
Actually, that’s not true this video is eight minutes and one second
You are absolutely right Mr. Johnson with the sleep regime and early light eating! Thank you!
6:00 >I want you to avoid smoking and "excessive" alcohol.
Even small amounts of alcohol are harmful, Bryan. People who want to maximise their longevity shouldn't drink or smoke, period-no "occasional".
He said this in the past also, his team should definitely check the data on alcohol toxicity lol
You think a guy who's dedicating his life to anti-aging doesn't know that lol? most likely he knows saying no alcohol consumption whatsoever will make people feel it's overly restrictive and disregard the whole thing
well, hes trying to get the message across to the average person
@@brianronayne5456 he implemented red wine into his system but divested of it because it was too much calories
I think he said it that way cus he knows people will drink anyways…it’s so normalized that you can tell people the facts and they’ll still drink
Thank you! It is the base of a good health. I would also add to take care of our mental health (meditate, read) like you mentioned for the wind down routine!
