I really have to give you guys a lot of credit for these battle reports - they are not just a lot of fun, but also so, so good for people like me who are still learning the game, basically perfect for play-along (in my head) to get a grasp of the millions of little interactions these cards provide. Many, many thanks for that, really so appreciated! I'm looking for that same type of help to understand Tara and Tiri - any Battle Reports with those ladies coming up, by any chance? ;)
MVP, as always, is probably the video recording and editing. Malifaux is a really involved game, but you manage to show what’s going on at all times. Thanks.
I'm just getting back into Malifaux after about 8 years and decided to check out some battle reports and found you guys, I think you make awesome battle reports, You earned a subscriber!
I think the best tip for playing Rasputina is when placing her on the table you sing Daddy Yankee's "Gasolina" song, replacing "Gasolina" with "Rasputina" while maintaining eye contact the whole time.
MVP to Courtney, for the streak of showing off his hand to the camera! But as always, hugely hyped to see new masters, new crews and the ever-lovely paint jobs!
@@tabletopandgaming Well, more like pondering it! I jumped back onto the resser train, but then I was also tempted by the ice queen. Got too little time to play these days!
And once again this channel has made me start a new crew. Time to learn Kastore! Now you have the moral obligation of talking about him in your podcast (nods solemnly)
Poor Barbaros's wings don't work because the flight muscles were cut with a cursed knife that prevents them ever healing. The mean folk who ran the fighting pit he was trapped in did it to stop him getting away (before Bishop freed him and lead a big ol' break out).
Mvp was the editor. Liked seeing the stat cards included. Other batreps I've seen didn't include stats so they weren't as accessible to watch as yalls.
The MVP is definitely Courtney for his lovely reaction to the Raspy reveal. . . And there want a pixel deck in use, so he gave up a huge advantage? In game, the Urn Bearer and her “battle juice”.
This was a great game! Between Rasputina bouncing damage everywhere and Kastor's dominate moving the Ice Golem, it's tough to decide who the MVP is. Both Master's did great! Edit: so i watched this in 2 parts and I'll have to add barbaros to the list for taking on an ice golem and kaldgeist.
these are always awesome. Also, theres no way im the only one who hear's "Barbaros" as "Bob Ross" right? As if he's now taken up painting ever since he was branded a traitor
Rasputina enforces so much CC that I feel she deserves the mvp title. Despite the excellent movement and sequencing by the kastore player, rasputina demonstrates her truly oppressive board presence.
Oh boy, the MVP spot has got to be tied up between a few selections. Most obviously, Raspy's ice pillars blocked so much in the way of LoS & movement, and with that discard-or-slow ability constantly draining the Kastore player's hand. The Blessed of December scored and blocked the most points on it's own. The Kastore player was the MVP for his upbeat attitude even when flipping horrible cards (how did that Wendigo and Silent One escape alive?). Barbaros did hold his own though, lasting much longer than I had expected. Great batrep yall, I'm looking foreward to seeing how the Raspy player changes and grows his crew in the coming matches.
MvP is obviously the Strategy Marker for making the middle of the board ass to move in. ;) Jokes aside, Memeflips Meta dictates that Courtney's Fate Deck gets the MvP because we all love an Underdog.
In my experience, they gun for the urnbearer anyway as she provides alot to the crew. I suppose on the flip, your not losing that extra 2 stones though when they inevitably die
Thank you for these batreps. I love Malifaux but it is impossible to follow the action unless you can read the cards and the super dense interactions in real time. You make that possible with what no doubt is rather tiresome editing work. It is super appreciated.

Think the MVP is....
Ice Pillars 🤣🤣
e looks so gorgeous but also MVP moment to the drawing a 4 when you needed a 4+ for Broodmaster's Domain.
MVP is Courtney himself for his reaction at the reveal 😂

Thank you so much! Tiri is next in this season :)
MVP, as always, is probably the video recording and editing. Malifaux is a really involved game, but you manage to show what’s going on at all times. Thanks.

The MVP is Barbaros (who I keep hearing you call Bob Ross) for tanking all those Raspy shockwaves in a row.
That Gwyll voice for whisper in their ear was the MVP ahaha. Love me some Raspy, always up for some cold themed sorceress!
The MVPs was the Kaldgeists, great unpacking potential.
Thanks for a fantastic game. I love that you guys keep things inside keywords.

I’m so glad you’ve started a new season; now I’ll get to learn Rasputina
The hype for some more Neverborn goodness is real!
Great looking crews! Looking forward to watching.
I hear you're on the Raspy train too now!
@@tabletopandgaming Well, more like pondering it! I jumped back onto the resser train, but then I was also tempted by the ice queen. Got too little time to play these days!
The real mvp was jonny for that lovely paintjob
MVP is that terrain, looks super cool
MVP is Courtney for that super pure reaction at seeing Raspy
And once again this channel has made me start a new crew. Time to learn Kastore! Now you have the moral obligation of talking about him in your podcast (nods solemnly)
We're recording his episode this Sunday! :)
I'm digging the new approach!
Poor Barbaros's wings don't work because the flight muscles were cut with a cursed knife that prevents them ever healing. The mean folk who ran the fighting pit he was trapped in did it to stop him getting away (before Bishop freed him and lead a big ol' break out).
It's cool to see the Returned keyword in action! I haven't gotten a chance to play against that keyword yet!
Kaltgeists felt like the MVP in this one. Enabling group movement, and being more resilient than you could imagine!
Amazing board ..best Malifaux terrin so far across the web. Great crews and paint jobs
Great battle report and format, guys! One questions, these terrain/building pieces are gorgeous, from which line are they? Thx!
Hi there, it's the battle systems fantasy village you're after.
@@tabletopandgamingthanks!!
MVP was Raspy for setting up all the ice pillars and hand filtering
MVP is the Ice Golem! really well painted
Mvp was the editor. Liked seeing the stat cards included. Other batreps I've seen didn't include stats so they weren't as accessible to watch as yalls.
So Excited to See Rasputina and December! She was my first Master
The MVP is definitely Courtney for his lovely reaction to the Raspy reveal. . . And there want a pixel deck in use, so he gave up a huge advantage?
In game, the Urn Bearer and her “battle juice”.
Raspy is MVP. Hand pressure is how you turn bad flips from a problem into a nightmare.
Courtney's MVP had to be Kastore such an awesome and versatile master. Tom's MVP was Courtney's deck.
I love thèse battle reports and hope you keep them up!!
Do you have a reference as to where you obtained your terrain? It looks great!
Hi it's the Battle Systems Fantasy Village, you can find a full review on the channel.
Great battle report. Love the terrain. May I ask where they are from?
Hi, it's from battle systems, you can find reviews on our channel.
MVP is Kaltgeist way to keep everyone busy and cause chaos.
MVP is the Raspi simply for doing what the ice queen does best.
Also, what deck of cards is Courtney using?! They are brilliant!
That reveal gave me chills lol
Well, good timing since I just picked up the Returned keyword and have been looking hard at December with its new toys.
MVP is Rasputina for dishing out so much damage
LFG I LOVE THE MYSTERY MASTER SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!
these are always awesome. Also, theres no way im the only one who hear's "Barbaros" as "Bob Ross" right? As if he's now taken up painting ever since he was branded a traitor
MVP has gotta be Big Chungus, the Ice Golem, for just being SO large.
MVP is the Kaltgeist next to the Ice Golem, it was such a good player the Golem got jealous and punched him.
Rasputina enforces so much CC that I feel she deserves the mvp title. Despite the excellent movement and sequencing by the kastore player, rasputina demonstrates her truly oppressive board presence.
Can I call all of you the MVP for inspiring me to pick up a few core boxes and starting a local scene?
Love Rasputina, her lore is so great!
The Least Valuable Player has to be Courtney's deck on the 4th turn, colder than Raspy's toes.
The real MVPs are the enemies we slaughtered along the way :))
MVP was Marathine, because that model is just so gorram cool
MVP is ice pillars for being so disruptive
Technically since Kastore eats other nephilim, this is a Cannibal vs Cannibal vote off
Cool report.
Courtney was the mvp for playing the all the nephalim!!!
My MVP has got to be Raspy! She put out so many Pillars and so much Slow over the game. She really kept like half the crew at bay by herself 🥶
Unf, that table looks so dang good. Is it eligible for MVP?
Oh boy, the MVP spot has got to be tied up between a few selections.
Most obviously, Raspy's ice pillars blocked so much in the way of LoS & movement, and with that discard-or-slow ability constantly draining the Kastore player's hand. Great batrep yall, I'm looking foreward to seeing how the Raspy player changes and grows his crew in the coming matches.
I always said that if I ever finally got in to malifaux that rasputina would be the leader I would go with
MVP was the ice golem for sure lol, 1 hit 1 kill!
MvP is obviously the Strategy Marker for making the middle of the board ass to move in. ;)
Jokes aside, Memeflips Meta dictates that Courtney's Fate Deck gets the MvP because we all love an Underdog.
Second place to the Silent One for chewing through soulstones like paracetamol so they could deliver that sweet middle finger to Kastore.
As the only international memeflip member i hope you were both rooting for me!
Always mate, you've yet to sully yourself with Pandora 😂.
@@FrDeerhands Of course. :D
Whoa whoa whoa wtf Roo
You should put Ancient Pact on the Cavern instead of the Urnbearer.
The Urnbearer will still die. But your opponent won't be as incentized to kill it
In my experience, they gun for the urnbearer anyway as she provides alot to the crew.
I suppose on the flip, your not losing that extra 2 stones though when they inevitably die
My first and last game with Raspi I completely got shut down so here's to hoping I pick up a thing or two
Courtney Deck - the "real" MVP :D
Makifaux yeeee!!🎉🎉
I'm late! but MVP is Barbaros dude was a tank and excellent painter
love this game, sadly it died in my local community
Euripedes and Kastore aren't mates. Euri simps for Titania and Kastore is ride or die for the Nephilim and thinks that Titania needs to re-die.
Mvp are kastore's minions talking to kastore.
I think [REDACTED] was MVP because I am a huge fan of ?????!
Rasputina i love you ❤
Definitely kaldgeists as the MVP for me
I really hope ??? wins
Thank you for these batreps. I love Malifaux but it is impossible to follow the action unless you can read the cards and the super dense interactions in real time. You make that possible with what no doubt is rather tiresome editing work. It is super appreciated.
