Thanks for watching!
I never thought there was that much into making that area of the car look good. Great video!
Yeah, if you're building a show everything requires a plan of execution. Thanks for watching.
How long did it take to get the engine bay looking the way it does now?
It took months and months with all the ordering of parts, chroming, painting, mock up, troubleshooting and dialing everything in. It was a lot of work and took a lot of money to complete, but I'm happy with the results.
say brotha who did your hard line for your radiator ? thanks in advance
The hardline for the radiator was done by Hi Low Hydraulics in El Paso, Texas about 12 years ago. If you have any more questions let me know. Thanks for watching.
Does the fabricator you used build any more chrome fender wells? I have been wanting to do that for years now. It's hard to find someone to fab or chrome them on the East Coast!
Thanks for taking the time to watch this video and leaving a question. The fabricator that built the front wheel wells did them as a one-off. I'm not even sure if he's still in business. Those wheel wells were made about 13 years ago. I'm not sure of your budget, but they were also very expensive as in over 3k, and that was over a decade ago. Things just keep getting more and more expensive as time passes, unfortunately. Your question has me wondering how much they would cost to build now.
Anyhow, in order to build custom wheel wells, the fabricator would need your car at their shop to check for fitment during each step of the fabrication process. The only metal wheel wells that came out of the factory on G-bodies are the Grand Prix. You can try to find an old parts car Grand Prix and pull the front wheel wells. You will still need to make adjustments depending if you have a Monte Carlo, Cutlass, Regal, etc. The only thing I don't like about the wheel wells from the Grand Prix is the fact that they have ribs that run the length of the wheel wells. They aren't smooth like mine.
Where on the East Coast are you located? What kind of lowrider do you have?
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the owner of Altered Image 78 monte carlo used some wheel wells from a 70s grand prix. I think they are made out off metal.
You might be right. I would not be suprised if he did.
for the paintjob video, can you talk about why the color combo / did you tell the painter to just send it (some people do that) or did you have a plan in mind ?
thoughts on murals on the trunks ? also maybe talk about if you would have changed something if you went back in time ?
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave some questions. I'll be sure to answer your questions in a future video. Be sure to subscribe if you haven't already to ensure you're alerted when new videos are published.
Have a good one,

Where do you get the chrome finder liner’s
Thanks for watching and taking the time to ask a question. The chromed front wheel wells you see on my car were made from scratch/by hand. They were a one-off production. They were expensive to have made and took a lot of time to get fitted in properly.
