Exhaust install on my 1986 Monte Carlo CL. Full custom exhaust system using stainless steel piping. Magana Flow mufflers. I edited out lulls in activity and sped up the footage to keep the running time of the video down. Total time for the installation portion was a little less than 45 minutes total. Design, mock-up, and fabrication were approximately 24 hours in total.

Yeah, I got sticker shock when I was told the price, but in the end it was well worth the money. This set up was all done by hand, so no prefab parts were used, including the headers. the headers were also made by hand. This set up also make it super easy to clean under the car before a show, bracuse the entire system can be removed.

Jeez, that’s super clean! I’ve never seen an exhaust system like that. How did you come up with that idea?
The fabricator was the one who came up with the idea. At first, I thought it was way too expensive, but ultimately, it was the best choice. My car is classified as a full custom, so if you cheap out on certain things those things will stand out negatively when the judges grade the car.

@@WXSWOFFICIAL I never thought about it that way. That having a show car and cheaping out on something will make it stand out in a negative way because everything else is so nice, so it sticks out like a sore thumb. That muffler shop must be one of the best to work on your car.
