One thing I’ve notice about Nick is that he is exceptionally good at finding spots without people lol. Every good fishing spot I know has a ton of fisherman
There's spots I've seen tons of fishermen they caught nothing. I went to a free spot more secluded and was catching bass. Key is after 3 casts with three types of retrieves each cast and pause times. If no bites after 3 casts and different pause times with cast move. Don't fish a dead spot. Once you find fish and catch them stay there 10 minutes once bite dies down during those 10 minutes move again.
@WildLife Perspective is another thing that's helpful to read the water. What I mean is look for birds and movements in the water. Where there's birds diving, there's big fish waiting for injured bait fish to fall
Brother your film making skills always makes me happy to see a new video from you. You've really created one of the best fishing channels on YT. (If not the best) Everything is genuine. Anyone who's ever fished like this and loved it will agree. Youre just being yourself. Its what makes your channel great....and always keep including the tripping, falling....relatable to everyone! Lol
I think one of the things I love most about Nick and this channel is that he shows his bad days! He turns the video around but he never leaves out the slow days. Very real and I think that’s hard to come by nowadays in UA-cam’s creators and In general on the internet ❤
Dude, nice video. I definitely liked the "here's what I'm using tackle-wise" part. I know a lot of folks appreciate that. That first spillway looked promising. Surprised that it wasn't. Thanks for the noble fishing work, brother.
I am a bass angler. This is the only fishing channel i watch that is bank fishing and also not targeting bass. The only one. You really have made something special here. Kudos man!
This is why I appreciate your posts. You pack, drive, hike, wait and endure the bad fishing and celebrate the good catches. I share your emotions, while sitting on my porch smoking a cigar in 15 minutes. Thank you.
Your my favorite youtuber Nick! You inspired me to some types fishing I've never even dreamed of and caught lots of new species too! THANKS! And you can tell from my profile picture bowfin are my favorite freshwater fish to catch.
Another great video, Nick. I'll be in your neck of the woods this weekend. It's for a memorial service, but they were big fishing people, so we're gonna honor them by wetting a line.
Your videos and editing skills are second to none. Always enjoy seeing the awesome spillways that you find and various species of fish that you catch. If you ever want to do some marsh fishing for Redfish down in South Louisiana, hit me up. 🎣🎣🎣
Brother from Another…the positivity, melodic tones, serene cinematography and top notch editing skills SOMEHOW always slightly overshadow the intended entertainment. Ridiculous lol. Fan from almost day 1. Looking forward to many, many more!
And another thing I subscribed to many fishing channels, but yours is by far my favorite one with the scenery and awesome music. I yet to have laptop to get my gopro videos on UA-cam but I still post .hopefully soon I can do what you do and really get some views thanks 618 !!
Well you did it again thanks for taking us on your adventure Some pretty nice fish you got on this adventure, That last clip was funny I've had that same phantom fish I call that practice thanks for sharing I'm looking forward to the next Adventure God bless
Those Bowfin are amazing fish , glad you caught some to show us👍. Is becoming one of my favourites too, although we don’t get them here . Shame the new spillway didn’t produce but looks like it has potential. Try again some time ?. Great video Nick . Thanks for sharing.
I watch your videos all the time and I enjoy them. I would like to see you fish for Pike, Pickerel, muskies, walleyes.more trout. It would be a nice change to watch from the usual Cats, Bowfins, buffalos, etc.. you seem to go for.
When I was but a wee lad, my grandfather would take me fishing at "White Horse Lake" near Williams Arizona. Early to mid 1960s. When I'd get a bite, I would enthusiastically "set the hook" like you do for them Bowfin. These were stocked rainbow trout. My grandfather would say, "r ya tryn to yank his head off"? Lol Lol. Good times and good memories of a more simple world.
You lime me you don't stop until you catch something. I spent 6 hours of canal fishing, and I didn't catch anything in the blazing sun of West Palm Beach .Your fishing videos inspire me and remind me of myself when I catch anything, yet I still enjoy the adventure, and it is all fun
How is it that nick does not have 5 mil subs yet. You make such great and entertaining videos and i enjoy every single one of them for years now. Keep going buddy

Dogfish are a blast to catch, used to catch them fishing up North while Pike fishing. Cast your most expensive spinner bait and you'll hook one! 😂
How is it that nick does not have 5 mil subs yet. You make such great and entertaining videos and i enjoy every single one of them for years now. Keep going buddy
Cause he only catches fish that most people don't care about
