- 3 continual hours of full-bore blizzard snowstorm sounds from inside a cabin. No letup - all 3 hours are the full gale-force snowstorm sound. Great for ambient, sleep, white noise, arctic, blizzard lovers.
This is the slightly older Long Dark indoor sounds without the constantly rattling window pane. Better for resting/relaxing in my opinion

I can stay inside and listen to this all day long. Let's hope cabin fever doesn't kick in.
I loved this game for that reason being in a cabin listening to the wood crackle the wind howl and the dark interior of the house. if the fire could stay lit i would leave it on all night

This is a bit of a comfort when it's over 100F outside.
I was putting on longdark menu music at youtube to have something to fall asleep. later in night I woke up with that sound (thx to youtube autoplay) and half-awake I was wondering about the storm outside my room :P

This a reference to how your body will strangely start feeling really warm just before or during hypothermia because your body is now doing everything it can to preserve the heat it has left
The Long Dark actually puts a line or two referencing this in Wintermute, which shows they know about this phenomenon
