Can you help me please, so im early on in the game and I lead to the first crashed ship you get in the story, I didn't have the wiring loom, so I went to get resources but now I cant find the ship. How do I get it? Please help me out
>start the game >fix warpdrive >get inside the anomaly >buy economy scanner >fly to black market system nearby >attack the freighters and buy all contraband you can fit inside your ship >use the anomaly to get back to starting system's station >20 million units
Quick tip about crashed ships you find. You can fly your current ship into the anomaly, then swap your current ship to the broken ship and it will automatically repair the jump thrusters and hyperdrive without costing you any resources. Makes it really easy if you want to go around collecting broken ships to sell early game.
How do you find the first ship? How do I get the HUD to pop up?Where is the analysis visor?I have been collecting stuff for weeks, how do you get going in this game?
Pro tip: if you want tens of thousands of ferrite dust and carbon in a few minutes, find one of those wierd planets with no trees and tons of rocks and use your starship weapons, preferably the positron or infra-knife and just blast the surface. Go slow so the resources have time to render in and just shoot. You'll end up with massive amounts of ferrite and maybe carbon depending on the planet in just a few minutes. Super nice for massive alloy structures!
I'm gonna dive into my first playthrough right after watching this video! I remember grabbing this game on pre-order and sitting in front of the countdown, super excited. But man, when I finally got in, it was so buggy. Deleted it in just 5 minutes flat and felt let down. Now I've heard they've fixed it up, so I'm checking this out before jumping back in! Thanks for the guide!!
@@secondsonjdkI started a new playthrough last night after not touching it since release. It's alot lot better and I am enjoying it. So much freedom and lots of exploration. Can't go wrong really
Another really fast way to make units is to take advantage of the economies of various systems. Make a storage container and put the manufactured goods in it in your freighter. Once youve got a bunch just hop from system to system and sell super expensive while buying really cheap. Of course theres the frigate expeditions and those are really fast too but just another method in case youre interested.
I'll tend to start the game analyzing all of the fauna on the starting solar system which will net you around 8000 to 10000 nanite. That allows you to fully upgrade your mining Beam movement module and scanner. After that every planet you analyze the fauna on will net you millions of units and thousands of clusters

You are the first and only YTer that I have watched that said anything about the "Dissonant" systems and Sentinels! I can't wait to try this out! Thanks for the quick, but informative guide. Do you have a Part 2 to this guide?
Absolutely. This was the stand-out part to me, too. I've never really been much of a base-builder, so a lot of the "set up a farm to produce chlorine" type money making strategies have fallen flat for me. Sentinel ships, though? This is a really fun loop, rakes in credits really effectively, and I get to passively farm for cool ships along the way!
Oh and dont forget about the power diversion in your starship. You can go so much faster with power diverted to engines and so much more damage with power diverted to weapons and take so much more damage with power diverted to shields. I just bought No Man's Sky a couple of days ago, and started to play it blind. The first planet I got was a snowy planet much like how the planet in this video looked like. Though by the time I got the last part of the first crashed ship for the repair, for some reason the ship was floating high up in the air. I tried to fly using my jetpack but I kept falling and getting fall damage. Eventually my character died but then the ship was also on the ground by then. So just tried this. Found my first Sentinel ship, which was a B class, but still way better than the starter ship. So I sold the starter for 4 mil, then upgraded the new ship. My second attempt, I found another B class, decided to sell it for scrap, made at least 23 mil off of it. I’m currently sitting at 30 mil and I’m quite new to the game. This feels like cheating, heh. This guide mention fighting a sentinel capital ship to collect a dreadnaught AI fragment and find a Dissonant spike and interceptor Is there any difference in these methods? Using the terminal is easier. Getting an S class is random so you might have to find a few of them. Good thing is that you can scrap the ones you don't want for units
@@Newftorious thank you for that! I read S class ships are most common in outlaw galaxy’s Should I therefor be looking for an outlaw dissonant system? Does such a combo exist? Thanks!
New to this game. Honestly having a lot of fun learning and researching and fixing and discovering plants and animals. Truthfully, the game is pretty much pointless playing as soon as a sentinel spots you. If youre on the ground and engage them in combat, there are just endless waves of them. If you get to your ship and run, there are endless waves of sentinel air crafts. Keep taking them down, they keep chasing. Huge momentum killer for me. I dont understand how to just get away and continue to mind my business. It's annoying tbh. I just want to explore. I wish that you could turn confrontations off. Theyre not even necessary. Or atleast make them finite and survivable.
Solid guide man! Took down my first capital ship. How far did you have to travel to find your A class? The best I’ve found thus far is a B class and I’ve farmed 6-7 ships at this point. Overall a great way to grab units though. I’m just stuck farming trying to find an interceptor I like haha.

Yeah maybe get somebody who has never played this game and have them sit down and start, and refer to this video as a guide. Tell me what they're doing when you get to "Okay take off to your second planet" at the 1:50 mark.
Recently brought this game with my christmas money i am super excited to give this game ago but at them i am glued to ark ascended!! Also you earned yourself a new sub!!
Had a question as a player whos since returned and is getting their footing. Why dont more people recommend doing the expedition, then making that your official save after completing? After doing my first i felt like it gave you a better ship, units, intro to alot of the new mechanics, as well as opportunities to both get and farm extra sentinel ships. Along with a full glyph set and other nice perks upon completion.
I've mentioned it before but they aren't always active. I think it would be cool if they had the expeditions on a rotation. They have a lot of them at this point. Some of them aren't new player friendly though
I just started playing again aswell, are these expedisions worth it? Im suprised how much this game grew lost all my stuff tho my ships and freighters are gone. So i made a new character.
@@daveboonen5041 i think theyre super useful i wish i had jumped back in with the expedition save it kinda sets your character up quickly with a lot of useful things. But even if you already have a save going like i did that you dont wanna lose you can transfer over all your rewards to your main game save. Last expedition was super fun and completely worth it only took about 6 hours.
does anyone know why you unlock space travel so quickly? I would have thought the natural progression of the game would be spawn, build shelter, construct exocraft, explore planet, find crashed ship, repair ship, explore space station, create warp engine, find anomaly, explore universe. just the order of events can be changed to provide a much more coherent narrative.
About MultiTool inventory slots, If I buy slots on one multitool (say the pistol), and later upgrade to a better multitool of same type (pistol) or different type (say a rifle), will I keep the purchased new inventory slots? or are they tied to the Multitool they were purchased for.
You can get several in the same system. They will all look the same but the class will be random. So if you want one that looks different you will have to go to a new system
I can't seem to consistently get aggro from these sentinels. i'v gone after a few of them and only once had them aggro to spawn Interceptors.. am I missing something? also while fighting interceptors I do aggro in space, they don't go past 1 start wanted...
I’ve been stuck wandering aimlessly not knowing what to do. Been about a few hours now trying to get sodium nitrate to unlock this exosuit upgrade. Can’t even mine the crystal. Got the blueprints for advanced mining pistol. No idea where to get one of the materials. Looked through several videos. I’m just about ready to drop the game.
Good video, just one thing to disagree. The tutorials sucks. Yes, it contains all the necessary steps to start the game, but it is a huge visual cognitive overload and all of the steps aren't really connected together. And basically every time you're trying to read one prompt through, another one pops up and removes the other one. The best game tutorial is the one you didn't notice and this one you fealt every step of the way.

There is currently no expedition, so that guide would only be helpful once in a while
I've mentioned it before but they aren't always active. I think it would be cool if they had the expeditions on a rotation. They have a lot of them at this point. Some of them aren't new player friendly though
Thanks all makes sense!! After coming back and doing the expedition i was like man where was this when i played years ago. But forget its an LTE.

Great video
Thank you
About MultiTool inventory slots, If I buy slots on one multitool (say the pistol), and later upgrade to a better multitool of same type (pistol) or different type (say a rifle), will I keep the purchased new inventory slots? or are they tied to the Multitool they were purchased for.
They're tied to the multi-tool you purchased them on
@@MrRykage bummer. But thanks. 🤠
Game: Mining resources and crafting shit
This dude: Tip nr. 1: You have to mine resources.
That 50% discount was peak marketing.
Noob tip: Go to the Anomaly, say hi to someone and wait for them to give you some materials that instantly makes you a billionare
I’ve got a question.
Do i have to warp to different systems every time i collect an interceptor, or can i do it a bunch of times in 1 system?
You can get several in the same system. They will all look the same but the class will be random. So if you want one that looks different you will have to go to a new system
@@Newftorious alr thx for the info!🙏🏾
Question. Finding and selling a crashed ship. Are you not stuck on the space station then? How do you get back to your own ship?
You'd just get your starter ship delivered to the space station
I can't seem to consistently get aggro from these sentinels. i'v gone after a few of them and only once had them aggro to spawn Interceptors.. am I missing something? also while fighting interceptors I do aggro in space, they don't go past 1 start wanted...
Guy is from Canada or Minnesota. 😄 Pretty good video though.
Just started my first play through, if anyone wants to join let me know!😄
I’ve been stuck wandering aimlessly not knowing what to do. Been about a few hours now trying to get sodium nitrate to unlock this exosuit upgrade. Can’t even mine the crystal. Got the blueprints for advanced mining pistol. No idea where to get one of the materials. Looked through several videos. I’m just about ready to drop the game.
If you look in the settings it shows you where you can find whatever your looking for
I have picked this up again the last time I went on it was day of release I’m already confused of what todo and how to start it
Just play through the tutorial, it will teach you what to do.
Idk, I disagree with this. Could be they changed it with the new update, but it was clean and easy to follow all instructions.
I recommend to repair anything and just claim it and sell it 😂 no need to fix things you can just spawn it
Great content buddy . You sound Newfie as my self
Pretty sure I've came across your account before .. I just started no man's sky again it's been a few years 😅
