The glue...!?! Holy shit there's no need for the amount! There's got to be a better way. I stopped buying TOC just because of the cheap plastic slips, but these ridgid boxes are definitely a welcome upgrade. The poor design of the steelbook holder seems like a big letdown too. Hopefully that's sorted for future releases!
Yeah i started also mate but after i few i realised they weren’t all that and was content just cherry picking them. The new box is def an upgrade. Just hope they smooth out the production issues. Cheers for watching mate 👌😃

Haha it took a lot not to start swearing 🤬lol These things cost a lot of money. I think it’s justified getting annoyed. Can buy this for £10 on 4k £2 on blu ray. Shelling out £50 so they have to bring their A game in my opinion. It’s niche collectors market, no room for that shoddy shit. Anyway, i’m not that pissed honestly 😇 lol It’s not ground breaking this film, just a satisfying redemption / revenge flick but executed really well by a great cast and crew. Period setting makes it so epic. It’s a sum of its parts… and they are all well oiled 👌creator review will be soon, keep an eye out. Cheers mate
This also happened to me with the Exorcist deluxe set - the adhesive left visible marks on the front of the box when the wraparound was removed. So annoying.

Nice Andy, TOC could easily print the spec sheet onto the inside of the lid, stuck onto the back is hiding some nice artwork….also that TOC logo on the spine is stuck onto the helmet design, they could just put that on the front bottom right where there is no other design, and the artcards were a poor choice i think, we could have had iconic scenes from the movie instead of behind the scenes stuff. The plinth thing is an idea that in reality won’t get used. All in i’m happy that they’ve changed it up amd it does have a premium feel to it and still a decent price point but putting them up against a pricepoint rival…….Everythingblu do it much better. As you say they still have work to do and some of the choices they have made leave something to be desired but it’s going in the right direction

I’ve bought some off ebay before to display others i have but appreciate i may be in the minority here. Its very annoying that the amount of glue they are using is crazy no need for any glue they are wrapped in cellophane, aren't they ? Personally, i dont like the flap design that will wear overtime . A magnetic clasp would have been a better bet, especially at this price . I think the plinth looks a bit cheap if im honest

The box is a close resemblance to the vinegar syndrome VSU editions they don’t have a card attached at all which is better and they have magnetic flap. I don’t need Gladiator so won’t get this.
I’ve never had any vinegar syndrome titles in had but they seem a cool and much loved labelled these days. No card should be the norm for collectors sets, especially when like this one it is actually covering (damaging) part of the design!? Thanks for watching my friend 👍😃
Aye a bit dissaponting , the stand is useless ( although I would never use it anyway tbh) the steelbook is great tho, i sold my anniversary 4k steelbook so my outlay was only about £10. The glue is annoying, had same issue with my lost boys 4k collector edition. Save some money and just don't use glue ffs !
I know, i’m thinking the glue is the cheap option for them, buy a big tube or whatever for peanuts. Stickers maybe cost too much to buy in bulk but glue just wrecks it. Even if they use a tiny spot.
