A garbage can and paint strainer? Who would'a thunk it! Now you've inspired me!

Hey brother! I'm taking a ride to GA next Friday weather permitting to ride with my brother. I just ordered some parts from Rocky Mountain ATV. They had some parts I had to have and for a great price. Thanks for talking about them as I hadn't heard of them. This ride I'm taking will be my first semi-long distance ride. Again, thank you for the inspiration to take up adventure riding and motorcycling for that matter. This past year has changed my life in many good ways and I owe that to you. I had never heard of adventure riding since I have been a car guy. I look forward to meeting you next year when I'm doing my TAT trip. Keep the videos coming! Thank you!

Very Nice, I need something like that for my XR650. My only worry is to round the corners on the paint strainer, or cut a hose and place over those corners facing you, Going over the bars could rip you open.

Nice mod. Though I won't be taking it as far as you did, you have encountered me to find cheaper lighting solutions for my bike instead of falling into the expensive led light propaganda. Thank you for your work helping us find good, but inexpensive motorcycling gear. I greatly enjoy both your ADV and RAW channels.

That came out really, really slick, especially for a DIY project. Now that you've got that headlight bracket there, if you ever decide to make a dash for a Trailtech or something, you've got the easiest mount points in the world right there.

Awesome dude! That was very clever. I'm not much of a do it yourselfer. I do all my own mechanical of course (bike, not auto...). But launching out to conceive and execute something like your lights and the wind faring? Not me! Good job sir, and thank you for sharing your journey.

You should look into a harbor freight powder coating setup. You can bake small pieces in a toaster oven. You could have powder coated that bracket flat black. I've done engine cases and all sorts of stuff in my toaster oven.

Love the light bracket idea and will probably build one for my xr4, after I've shelled out for a higher output stator and small battery

That thing looks sick dude I love it you did a great job you're too hard on yourself sometimes. A quick google image search of rally fairings brings up nothing as cool as that one. I'm def gonna take a look at my 82 Honda XL250R and see if I can make something like this thanks for always bringing great content. I've bought several products you've recommended good stuff keep it up bro.

Looking to add extra lighting to my 1200GS, thank you so much for these videos! If I make it up to Utah before I sell my GooSe, I'll get your opinion of how I made out haha and of course let your ride it too if you'd like :D

I have two little girls at home, and I can never ever ever find a pencil or a pen or a black sharpie, but.....I always find. Purple or pink crayon to write down some important data or number....and yes I also have a pink sharpie that seems to be the only one ever available 😄
