what is the best MPG you got out of tuning your 6.0? i wonder if ignoring egr and downstream o2 sensors would help? any suggestions? i heard these can get 22mpg on the highway .... i need that lol

Honestly not 100%, I should definitely calculate that doing a normal drive. Unfortunately it’s turbo now so I have to do another truck hahaha

How did these performance tuning changes effect the fuel milage if this truck, you mentioned it would be your daily, I have a 1500HD as well with 4.10 rear end and it has very lazy power and poor fuel milage but does “ run” well, would be interested in trying these changes but I’m looking for milage and drivability not peak horsepower, thoughts ?

Honestly a good question. Not sure as this is turbocharged now. The 4.10 gear is gonna kill that unfortunately, I have the 3.73.

So if i just play with fuel enrichment and leave everything else alone, will i see a significant change? I got a 01' 2500hd. Its got alot of miles and i dont want to kill it lol also dont know enough yet to be comfortable playing with anything else. If i ad .2 to my enrichment table, it puts me at about 11.8 across the board. Gonna modify my exhaust past the manifolds. Everything else, even air filter is 100% stock stuff.

Yea every engine likes something a little different, but I wouldn’t worry about hurting anything on a stock deal. They are pretty tough so as long as you make small changes at a time your good

A few small changes wake them up alot. Even the older L31s run a lame tune.

You have to add the config file. That’s a good question, I’ll have to make a walkthrough video on that.
