All I hear is "You must die!" "I am invincible!" "Resistance is futile" "Die already, vermin!" or something to that effect.
Actually this was a upgrade of izanami and persona four is newer you see nix had a great concept of the arcana no you awaken your real power and just break through izanami never breaking health bar this boss actually had a amazing design and would accept his her bi fate

So can I talk about some cool symbolism real quick? Your starting persona is Orpheus, who failed at saving his wife from Hades because he didn’t trust that she was following. Your ultimate persona is Messiah, who saves everyone through self sacrifice, showing trust in all those he sacrifices himself for. You fuse Messiah by fusing Orpheus, the failed savior, and Thanatos the God of death, and the symbolic representation of the fate of all living things. You can chose to accept your fate and you will not be able to fuse Messiah, but if you choose to go down this path of self-sacrifice you can use Messiah.
The other interesting thing is that your character doesn’t even use messiah in his final battle. Which is interesting because even the velvet room’s form for him is symbolic of ascension and transcendence. Which he essentially transcends needing to use a persona.
Another symbolism, I might add, is that Messiah's fusion of Orpheus and Thanatos can be a nod to the biblical quote "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
My brothers first time fighting Nyx was hillarious. He had one more hit to defeat her. Aigis and Koromaru were his only partners alive. My brother was low on health and Koromaru had half his health still. All Aigis had to do was heal him and he would have won. But, no Aigis had to be a bitch and heal the dog! Nyx does his final blow killing my brother. My brother sits in silence for a minute then screams "AIGISSSSSS!!"
There's a little thing everyone may have missed. In one of your classes, Mr Erogawa gives a lecture about all the arcana cards, and what they mean. Nyx is almost word for word saying what Mr Erogawa said, albeit more threatening. A class lecture has now turned into a battle for your dear life. And if you paid attention to Mr Erogawas lecture, he hinted at each arcana's weakness. So if you were a good student, his lecture could help. I LOVE how a lecture you thought was going to be just filler, turns into a huge plot device
There's also the possibility of taking extra classes with him during vacation and he explains each of the Arcana's history, their origin and their meaning depending on the way they were drawn.

To be fair, everyone playing this for the first time probably feared that Nyx would go through all of the 21 arcanas. I was personally relieved to hear Fuuka say those words even though it was kinda predictable.

Mr Everything 70 Her voice actress did a pretty awful job in this game, but when you listen to her in Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight, you can really tell that she’s improved as a voice actress and does a great job at giving Fuuka the emotion she lacked in P3FES. Practice makes perfect!

You know, this boss battle is the definition of a true boss battle. Nyx Avatar will forever haunt me every time I face up against another boss from a different game. The amount of tears and self-fulfilment that rushed into me after beating Nyx was indescribable. Playing on normal in my 1st playthrough of the game, my characters where a bit underlevel (Lev 73) facing Nyx (I figured it wouldnt be AS challenging as I thought) , and well, it wasnt until Nyx destoys you when it has just a few 100s left in its final arcane form, that you may actually cry. My 1st time facing Nyx, I was an hour and a half in, thinking I'm going to beat Persona 3! , and bam, Nyx destroys me. An hour and a half wasted... Just to do it again. And i did break my controller. Twice. The self-fulfillment of beating Nyx (About 5 more rematches later) really felt like facing death head on, at least in gaming terms. You could bet I was crying on my knees after the battle.
Bro Nyx fucking charmed Aigis in my first playthrough and Aigis used Diarahan when he was ALMOST DEAD. I raged man. Then I get charmed and kill Aigis and Yukari then Nyx finished me off. I wasted an hour and a half of my life. I went to sleep after that because I was so done.

Thor has electric and physical attacks and titania i think ice wind and healing. Its not that much great since titana has only mabufula and magarula and mediarama. Its good but i recommend use thantos has megidola or on repel light or messiah has god's hand power or mind charge and repel darkness. Keep that on mind.
When I fought this boss for the first time. I really felt like I was there on the edge of the world with my friends facing death. It was unforgettable. it still gives me chills. I love this game. It really made me think about my life and what kinds of fears are holding me back from being alive

I'm kinda sad when I finished watching this video. You really don't find these kinds of fights in modern games nowadays. Instead, its all a matter of "cinematic" cutscenes, gameplay, and voice acting that AAA devs pump out, thinking they'll be the next Steven Spielberg. Persona 3 is amazing because it embraces itself as a video game, instead of going against it to try to mimic another medium like movies. It allow us to pursue social links not just as a gameplay mechanic to level up Personas, but as means to give the player an incentive to fight for this world. It didn't take away all of that from us, and just throw in some two minute cutscenes with a few NPCs as an excuse to fight to the end in this game. It gave us a choice to find value in living life and by doing so, we were willing to go up against Nyx even if it meant death. Fighting Nyx was epic as well, because there was so much at stake at that point and providing you didn't grind yourself to death; it was an overall challenging fight that put our skills to test. There's no amount of flashy cutscenes can ever surpass a boss fight like this, because we as players, conquered what was thought to be the impossible. Its those kind of moments that modern games lack nowadays, because they're so focused on telling over showing their story, that they fall flat on their face because of it (i.e. Metroid Other M).

Without a motive, just living a diferent moment. And after all these years, decided to get a PS2, last year (quite modern, ahn?). Started with Okami, then God of War and then Devil May Cry. Then Persona. And what an experience! Just finished The Journey, started The Answer today haha and I'm already missing the chars, really sad.

It took me about half an hour to an hour... Maybe because I was playing on easy, so I had plumes. Though, I didn't need them. I saved all my stat cards and added it to a single persona, maxing their stats. as a result, every demon it fused with had a large stat increase
damn agree . nyx is so hard to beat esp for the first time player . i managed to beat him in my first try but hell im like 2 hours straight fighting him . the best experience , the best challenge for me . im crying after i beat him huhu . persona 4 n 5 final boss cant compare their difficulties compared to nyx
I love the way the camera is in this fight. It focuses up on the world's biggest threat, but it also focuses on the unsettling green sky and the full moon. It signifies that you're at the end, You're almost done. You just have one more obstacle in your path: Nyx.
Nyx: "This outcome only delays the inevitable. The ones who will come after me will attempt to complete my plan and fail but I will be called back to finish the job. Next time, you will not have a savior or seal to hold me back."
Years later I was finally able to beat Nyx, my younger self would be so proud, it only took about 20+ attempts with my favorite one being reaching Night Queen stage, Nyx is literally a hit or two away from death but he manages to charm Aigis, who then proceeded to heal Nyx back up to full health…the willpower it took not to break something…
I loved this battle. "The Arcana is the means by which ALL is reavealed..." There was a poetic rhythm to this battle. It summed up the whole game--fighting Death masquerading under rotating Arcanas, with the Aria of Everyone's Souls in the background....
I think they should have implemented dynamic levelling to this boss. So that he stays a few levels ahead of you no matter how much you grind , so as to keep the image of him being some impossible unbeatable boss. Basically this fight should have been something along the lines of a dark souls boss, mainly how powerful Nyx is supposed to be , someone who is almost impossible to defeat and yet you overcome those odds
Most player's teams are almost completely dead by the end of the fight, and that's with 13 phases, he'd have to be greatly nerfed to actually be beatable with the 25(?) phases having every arcana would give him.
Possibly the greatest final boss fight of all time. I love the idea of fighting death incarnate, knowing you can't win, but trying to anyway. And the ending after the fight... just brilliant. Probably one the best endings of any video game, ever. Sidenote: That was the same party I used, and I also named my character "David" after myself!

Mr Everything 70 Her voice actress did a pretty awful job in this game, but when you listen to her in Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight, you can really tell that she’s improved as a voice actress and does a great job at giving Fuuka the emotion she lacked in P3FES. Practice makes perfect!

This the best final battle music I have ever heard at this point. It does everything right. The tension, the buildup, the chorus and piano...10/10 perfect
You know, this boss battle is the definition of a true boss battle. Nyx Avatar will forever haunt me every time I face up against another boss from a different game. The amount of tears and self-fulfilment that rushed into me after beating Nyx was indescribable. Playing on normal in my 1st playthrough of the game, my characters where a bit underlevel (Lev 73) facing Nyx (I figured it wouldnt be AS challenging as I thought) , and well, it wasnt until Nyx destoys you when it has just a few 100s left in its final arcane form, that you may actually cry.
My 1st time facing Nyx, I was an hour and a half in, thinking I'm going to beat Persona 3! , and bam, Nyx destroys me. An hour and a half wasted... Just to do it again. And i did break my controller. Twice. The self-fulfillment of beating Nyx (About 5 more rematches later) really felt like facing death head on, at least in gaming terms. You could bet I was crying on my knees after the battle.
LOL I remember that happened to me on my first playthrough too, I honestly just gave up on life for the rest of the day XD

Bro Nyx fucking charmed Aigis in my first playthrough and Aigis used Diarahan when he was ALMOST DEAD. I raged man. Then I get charmed and kill Aigis and Yukari then Nyx finished me off. I wasted an hour and a half of my life. I went to sleep after that because I was so done.

Thor has electric and physical attacks and titania i think ice wind and healing. Its not that much great since titana has only mabufula and magarula and mediarama. Its good but i recommend use thantos has megidola or on repel light or messiah has god's hand power or mind charge and repel darkness. Keep that on mind.

When I fought this boss for the first time. I really felt like I was there on the edge of the world with my friends facing death. It was unforgettable. it still gives me chills. I love this game. It really made me think about my life and what kinds of fears are holding me back from being alive

I'm kinda sad when I finished watching this video. You really don't find these kinds of fights in modern games nowadays. Instead, its all a matter of "cinematic" cutscenes, gameplay, and voice acting that AAA devs pump out, thinking they'll be the next Steven Spielberg.
Persona 3 is amazing because it embraces itself as a video game, instead of going against it to try to mimic another medium like movies. It allow us to pursue social links not just as a gameplay mechanic to level up Personas, but as means to give the player an incentive to fight for this world. It didn't take away all of that from us, and just throw in some two minute cutscenes with a few NPCs as an excuse to fight to the end in this game. It gave us a choice to find value in living life and by doing so, we were willing to go up against Nyx even if it meant death.
Fighting Nyx was epic as well, because there was so much at stake at that point and providing you didn't grind yourself to death; it was an overall challenging fight that put our skills to test. There's no amount of flashy cutscenes can ever surpass a boss fight like this, because we as players, conquered what was thought to be the impossible. Its those kind of moments that modern games lack nowadays, because they're so focused on telling over showing their story, that they fall flat on their face because of it (i.e. Metroid Other M).
And that comment deserves a prize. "Amazing, senpai!"

Without a motive, just living a diferent moment. And after all these years, decided to get a PS2, last year (quite modern, ahn?). Started with Okami, then God of War and then Devil May Cry. Then Persona. And what an experience! Just finished The Journey, started The Answer today haha and I'm already missing the chars, really sad.

It took me about half an hour to an hour... Maybe because I was playing on easy, so I had plumes. Though, I didn't need them. I saved all my stat cards and added it to a single persona, maxing their stats. as a result, every demon it fused with had a large stat increase

I love the way the camera is in this fight. It focuses up on the world's biggest threat, but it also focuses on the unsettling green sky and the full moon. It signifies that you're at the end, You're almost done. You just have one more obstacle in your path: Nyx.

Years later I was finally able to beat Nyx, my younger self would be so proud, it only took about 20+ attempts with my favorite one being reaching Night Queen stage, Nyx is literally a hit or two away from death but he manages to charm Aigis, who then proceeded to heal Nyx back up to full health…the willpower it took not to break something…
That moment when the evoker shoots in perfect timing with the music is PURE ECSTASY 🤪🤤🥴

I think they should have implemented dynamic levelling to this boss. So that he stays a few levels ahead of you no matter how much you grind , so as to keep the image of him being some impossible unbeatable boss.
Basically this fight should have been something along the lines of a dark souls boss, mainly how powerful Nyx is supposed to be , someone who is almost impossible to defeat and yet you overcome those odds

Most player's teams are almost completely dead by the end of the fight, and that's with 13 phases, he'd have to be greatly nerfed to actually be beatable with the 25(?) phases having every arcana would give him.

Possibly the greatest final boss fight of all time. I love the idea of fighting death incarnate, knowing you can't win, but trying to anyway. And the ending after the fight... just brilliant. Probably one the best endings of any video game, ever.
