    Now you guys need to do the same style of trigger as you guys have for the Bren 2. My favourite trigger shoe of all :)

    ... Awesome, I just bought my own Stribog SP9A3 yesterday at TAC-HUB and looks like it's time for some HBI upgrades.

    Just installed the locking charging block, extended bolt release and light trigger spring today on my A3.
    Trigger spring was kind of a ho but got it all together again. Do you think yall will make metal detents for the safety selector? That's the only reason I didn't order your selector last week (y'alls shipping time is astounding, btw). The plastic factory ones just scream "point of failure" to me.

      Thank you for running our parts and the kind words on shipping times. We did prototype some selector detents out of necessity (launched one or two oem parts when factory spare parts were not available). We have tinkered with alternate materials but also have not worn out the oem detents in any of our Stribogs either. For the time being (2022) we are in kind of a "wait and see" mode. If we do start wearing out the factory detents, or if replacements become impossible to find again we may do a short production run of them.

    Is the Stribog SP9A3 the best value 9mm PCC available today? That safety selector upgrade looks awesome!!

      Some say the sp9a1 is superior to the sp9a3. It's worth watching lots of videos. I got an sp9a1 gen 2, yesterday. It's a bit heavy, the A3 is similar in weight.

    Are you guys going to make a foldable charging handle for the b&t ghm9 ?🙏

    Is this safety quieter than the OEM? The original makes a super loud SNAP! sound when you take it off safe. Can't get it any quieter even if I slowly ride the safety down

    • @hb_industries
      @hb_industries  3 місяці тому +1

      Unfortunately the sound is primarily associated with the two selector detents, which do not change... our selector spindle is machined from aluminum and does have a different "tone" (lower pitched) but they are still more audible than say an AR style selector with just a single detent.

    Do you recommend any LocTite? Just got my upgraded bolt release/stop and safety selector... very nice products and makes the Stribog feel more premium.

    • @hb_industries
      @hb_industries  2 роки тому +3

      You can use loctite blue (242 or 243), for extra insurance if you would like. However we have found that the surface area contact between the countersunk screw heads and the selectors is enough to retain them without thread lock at 10 in*lbs.

    Nice. I'd probably use my vise to stabilize the lower but I know you wanted to get better camera angles.

    Great video, what hand stop is that?

    • @hb_industries
      @hb_industries  2 роки тому +1

      The handstop is from a CZ Scorpion Evo. It is blasphemy but the factory Evo handstop works/fits perfect and we have nearly all of our shop stribogs configured this way. There are many other 1913 mounted hand stop options though.

      @@tommypicchi9601 The ones that we have been using are just "take offs" from Evos that we have built. You can buy the hand stop from CZ-USA though: shop.cz-usa.com/hand-stop-evo366014200703.html

    My blunt opinion on the design of the safety mechanism is that drinking vodka while designing mechanisms for a weapons fire control makes for poor decisions. Genuinely awful design

    • @whatsup24_7
      @whatsup24_7 2 роки тому

      You must be drinking vodka then because the safety selector on the Stribog is very good. Switching the selector switch to the metal HB Industries is nice but not necessary. I switched mine mainly to delete the one side. The stock one works flawlessly though.

    • @ppmnox
      @ppmnox 2 роки тому

      @@whatsup24_7 The external selector shape is fine, the internal mechanism is not. The 2 detent system is needlessly complicated, and the 2 piece "snap together" shaft is poorly designed.
