Writing music in your sleep

Last year I had a dream - it was 'Fresher's week' at the University of Edinburgh and the Folk Society had a stand with a session going on, and were playing this tune. Surprisingly, I actually remembered most of the melody when I woke up, so I quickly transcribed it and filled in the gaps with whatever seemed to fit.
Depending on your hemisphere, I'm either a little late or very early for fresher's week, but regardless, this is the 7th fortnightly tune for 2024 - the Dreamer's Jig!

I've occasionally had somewhat lucid dreams but normally if I realise I'm dreaming I wake up. Apparently keeping a 'dream diary' helps but I've never had the patience / discipline for it.

@@EamonCoughlan Same for me! I once tried to practice with my instruments during a dream, but never played something beyond the complexity of simple scales😅
