IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're not seeing the "Add Image File" option at all in Acrobat DC, it typically means there is an issue with the settings of your document. The best way to fix it is to start over, leaving the "this document requires a signature" box unchecked when creating the document. (Took me an hour or so to figure out this headache).
Hi, this video has been very useful, but I do have a question please: How does this look for the client receiving the completed document (returned from the person who's filled out the form, and uploaded the image)? Do the images just appear as an image on a PDF document? Is there a way of enlarging the image (for example, if the wanted to zoom in etc.), or even saving the image after receiving it in the document? Thank you so much.
Hi! Thank you very much for a clear explanation! I tried image field on a student work sheet, and it looks like the user needs to have adobe to be able to take advantage of this 'browse image' feature. Is this correct?
Thanks for your great tutorials. I have a question. How can I adjust the PDF so that the images in the PDF can also be uploaded via Mobile devices? Now this is only possible via the PC. Thanks in advance for your response.
This! I use a premade PDF form for my insurance reports, being able to add the photos on my tablet would speed things up so much, and allow me to modify reports on my phone should I not be "at work". I use Adobe pro on my laptop, and when you click the image, there is a javascript that runs to add a picture. on the mobile device it just flashes the box and nothing happens. How can we add a function so on an ipad or android tablet it presents a "take a picture" or "upload picture"?
thanks, I was able to follow along and add the image upload box. When I previewed it works perfectly, but when I save it and then email it, the recipient is unable to click on it to upload the picture? Did I do something wrong? p.s. the same goes for my print, save and submit via email buttons. They all work for me during preview, but when I email it, the recipient cant use those buttons?
I created my form in Acrobat Pro but was not able to edit images in that PDF on a mobile device until I was using an Acrobat pro license on the mobile device. Adobe also has a mobile solution for 69 a year but I've not tried that yet. What's clear is editing images in an Acrobat created PDF requires some kind of Acrobat license .
hi i love your videos, just a quick query is it possible that image fields opens up a camera and take image rather than going into files and find insert the image? any JavaScript that can help open up the camera or give both options to browse and opens camera.
Does this only allow the user to upload an image when they open it with adobe? Or can they open it with Chrome for example, which still allows them to upload? Would love your help. Thanks.
Helped me a lot! BTW, is it possible to include this IMAGE FIELD in the RESET FORM? That when I click the RESET BUTTON, all fields, including the IMAGE in the image field, will disappear? Thank you and will patiently wait for your answer =)
Edit text field over image field Text is over the image I can not editing it in chrome if I open the PDF file it no show open PDF is made by adobe livecycle designer
Lol, you just click on the field and hit the delete button. Just make sure you’re in the “prepare form” mode not the edit pdf mode (prepare form mode is the mode when all the fields become fillable)
I can't believe how easy it looks, but when doing it, it's almost impossible for me. I can't understand why we can't click an image icon and paste it. I'm understanding to add an image you must click on add thumbprint? Not thumbnail? Or any other word that sounds like "picture" and its in the secret section 😂. No wonder I couldn't find it, I was using common sense 😅

Thanks so much for your comment! I was having the same issue, about to give up when I read your IMPORTANT NOTE. Very important indeed!!
Oh thank you, I was getting worn out trying to figure that out. VBscript etc didn't work. Thanks for taking the time to mention that.
The whole thing is a headache. Try doing it on a chromebook os, so incompatible!
the best solution, thank you so much
Any chance the fill box can be round instead of square?

How to add photos to drop down list ?
I whant to add some photos to dropdown list and use one on of them.
Helped me a lot! BTW, is it possible to include this IMAGE FIELD in the RESET FORM? That when I click the RESET BUTTON, all fields, including the IMAGE in the image field, will disappear? Thank you and will patiently wait for your answer =)
Yes, you can reset image field also. You asked this an year ago, hope you have resolved it already.
How do you create mutually exclusive checkboxes, is it possible?
Thank you !
How to clear image field like this in Foxit phantomPDF??
Hello, thanks for the helpful video. Do you know why pasting from an IPad doesn't work?
Thanks for your help...
🙂
Are you using a browser to open the file, if so it will not allow you to upload images.
Thank you, Just Thank you 🙏🏻
Can you do the same thing but actually take the picture real time instead?
Hi, can I toggle the image
This does not work if user is opening the file with a web browser. The file must be opened with Adobe Pro or Adobe DC.
Edit text field over image field
Text is over the image I can not editing it in chrome if I open the PDF file it no show open
PDF is made by adobe livecycle designer
Hi Asad, you need to open the PDF using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. It won’t work in Chrome.
👏👏👏
Thank you so much!
Cool! Now how do you delete the field? 😂

@@EssetinoMedia Ahh cool, appreciate the response. That does the trick thank you verrrrry much.
