      28 mph assistance? Derestricted?
Agree, it's a great bike. It didn't hit me until later how very lightweight this bike is.

Can you actually get up to 28 mph tho with only 2X assist?

@@ericknighton7881 I'm 60 and can keep a 24 mph pace going for miles, I've been over 40 mph on it down hill , it records all your rides on the app that comes with it , but if you want to keep a 28 mph avg you have to work for it

Great video! I just have to say that I have visited Göteborg many times (from the US). It’s been too long, but it made me smile to see familiar sites. Skansen Kronan even made an appearance in the distance.

To update the firmware on your bike, you have to physically take the bike into the dealer and have them do the update. I don't know what the charge is. Every other product in the world lets you do the update on your cellphone and blue tooth the update to your device.

    • @MTBs

You need the Mastermind TCU or TCD-w Gen 2 to be able to update yourself (battery firmware still needs to be updated in the shop).

you never said witch one you liked the best? I was able to try the Turbo Vado and thought it was a great bike but I wanted to try the SL. I think I would sacrifice power for a light weight regular feeling bike but I just don't know how big of a difference it makes.

      Hi!
I was just doing a quick test and tried to explain different use cases. But my favourite is the Vado SL because it is much faster than the others. It has got minimal resistance over 25 km/h which matters to me.

I never ride e-bikes, they are too slow. 😉However, I think they are great for getting more people onto bikes and leave the cars behind.

I get you, it is really annoying when the motor cuts out at 25 kph. But that Vado SL was actually pretty fast!

For me they are the difference between being able to get to my job daily or not on a bike. 30km/h is enough on most roads. I do 40km~ in a day with it and with a regular bike that would just take too long and I'll get to work sweating. Its the equivalent effort of energeticly walking through the duration of your ride

I ride a heavy Cube low-step due to having an artificial hip. It's rugged and great for the supermarket run but heavy to get in & out of the shed. I like the look/specs of the Vado SL low step but I'm not sure if there are many of them here in the UK. Maybe I can make a decision in early 2024.

Vado SL or Como SL? Como SL or Vado SL? I keep going back and forth after test riding both but need to make a decision so I can get riding and enjoy the rest of summer, then get ready for fall. The weight of the Como gives me pause since I may need to take it up stairs or on the subway but I like the low maintenance of the Gates belt drive. I would miss the handlebar controls and Walk Assist that come with the Vado. Decisions, decisions...

Two very different bikes I would say where the Vado SL is the fast commuter and the Comp SL is a comfortable "hop on hop off" city type of bike.
Anyways, good luck with your purchase!
