To be honest, if you actually go through the issues I'm pretty sure Batman has never beat Superman without help nor does he have any delusions that he could. Tower of Babel and brother eye both kinda prove that
The fight is obviously decided by the iteration of superman and whims of who writes the story. Sadly, the power scaling around superman will always be non-sensible in my opinion. The second the word "infinite" is invoked all reason goes out the window. After Superman lifted a book with infinite mass, showing he had infinite strength, he "powered up" his infinite strength to beat an opponent with Infinite power... But if his infinitely improved infinite power wasn't infinite enough, he can spend an infinite time in the sun until his infinite power is infinitely stronger... The whole thing just loses meaning after a while.

If you put Saitama against Supes then Saitama's power would grow to the point needed to defeat him. That's what he does.

The "One Punch Man" thing isn't about him beating opponents in one punch. It's that if the opponent can't beat him in one punch, they can't beat him. Which is why his abilities exponentially increase. Clark wouldn't put the necessary effort into hitting Saitama to put him down in one punch, so he can't beat Saitama. It's disturbing that such a Gary Stu, like Superman, is competing against a "gag character", while having enough convoluted Gary Stu development over decades to become a gag character. It's the same reason the magic words are "prep time" for Batman. At least the "gag character" was right out in the front with Saitama, instead turning into one over time, like Superman, because they need to unnecessarily rehash the character for decades beyond organic storylines for "popularity".

@TheAbbot92 there are other characters in opm that make the story interesting, also you could make that argument with superman too. This is purely fax bro, we get it, "saitama hasn't died and superman has", "Saitama hasn't taken damage but Superman has" this doesn't give y'all the right to downplay Superman's feats, you guys will clearly ignore all Superman's feats and just look at the bad one's which is dumb. In the opm manga, it's stated that Saitama's exponential growth was because of his heightened emotions after Garou killed genos which means Saitama normally won't grow that fast in other fights. Even if he does, strength isn't the only thing in a fight, intelligence, experience, combat skill, battle iq, abilities, hax etc also play a role and Superman outclasses Saitama in all this from what we've seen so far. Sure Superman lost alot of fights but did you even understand why he lost?!?!? Most used example is his fight with batman, people like to use this as a major downplay for supes even tho batman is exploiting his weakness and using tactics against him. Another fight is when he died to doomsday, this is dumb doomsday outclasses all opponents Saitama has faced so far using it to downplay Superman is just dumb In conclusion, stop downplaying supes cus of bad writing, he wins Saitama 10/10 times (from what we've seen so far)
You didn't even understand whats happening in the video before crying in the comments saying ohh superman lost but he still can beat saitama ohhh, we didn't even see a single drop of blood of sai in the manga
This fight would drag on for way to long at the end both would be standing . Both have no known limit, with saitama it is clear that his strength is limitless and that no matter how strong his opponent is he is always a big step ahead like his fight with garou showed. Superman is the same. Now if superman would fight honorably without any tricks than it would end up a stalemate. Saitama with all his power is still human , although he adapts very quickly, if superman would take him and fly him to the edge of the universe and leave him there than i think no matter how powerful saitama is ( although the fact that he is now somehow able to breathe in space which doesnt make any sense because his fight with boros clearly showed he couldnt breathe in space) he would have no way of getting out of there, he would need a ground to propel himself from , as of now he cannot fly etc. Because the Manga is still going on and more things about his real potential and strength will likely get revealed i stay with my theory that both are equally powerful until further Information 🎉
Superman doesnt lose any vs battle if you stick to his cannon feats etc, its only when you bring in crap some writer did to make him look weak (completely ignoring everything about Superman and basically plot armoring someone to beat him)
if you take the consistent superman feats and compare him to saitama, superman is WAY too slow. him and the flash had a race around the world where superman was stated to go all out on speed and the circled the earth twice in a few seconds. for reference light can travel around the earth 7 times in one second. saitama is just massively ftl +
You're grasping. One of the problems with Superman is he has had a plethora of writers, plethora of showings, and plethora of versions. What consistent feats are you talking about vs. inconsistent feats? What you call consistent only fits YOUR narrative and you'd cherry pick his slowest showing to support that, which is a desire to say Saitama is faster. What someone else calls consistent fits theirs, cherry picking only his fastest showings. In actuality, Superman going ALL OUT in a race would destroy the planet, or at least the surface of it. He doesn't have the Speed Force protecting his surroundings when he goes faster than light. He's taken hits from people slower than sound and speed blitzed people who are faster than light. He's also travelled across solar systems, star clusters and galaxies in mere seconds multiple times yet also been too slow to save people from an explosion. So what measurement do we take? Regardless, if Superman fought Saitama on Earth, he would NEVER go all out in terms of speed anyway because he would cause too much destruction. Scaling Superman is pointless because almost everyone is correct about his power and absolutely everyone is wrong about his power all at the same time

Superman is breaking all type of multiversal records with his powers while Saitiama broke the scale entirely. The difference is, one guy is trying so hard to be infinitely powerful while the other one doesn’t even try. Saitama doesn't get beaten. It's impossible. He's a cheat code. Put Saitama in 100 fights, he'll win 100 while stressing about coupons. Put Superman in 100 fights, he'll win some, lose some, get destroyed, die, for some reason get back to life to finish the job. And all that with ultimate efforts and hard work. Imagine Saitama with superman's dedication and hard work. Or even Saitama trying. Saitama wins.
@deez-px1iu according to Garou's graph, Saitama is stil growing despite the rest of his world being weak. If he meets some as strong as himself, nearly so, or more so, then his growth becomes exponential.
Saitama’s whole origin story even doesn’t make sense. He basically got superpowers through hard work and sheer willpower. You can’t just manifest superpowers from nothing. Every other powered hero is either an alien, mutant, lab experiment, magic user, god, etc.
It says that he broke his limiter. If you understand how the limiter works on editing than you'll understand. Your mic levels will grow stronger and stronger but depends on how loud you talk if you don't apply a limiter.
How does someone sit inside of a small star (Superman inside of the sun) and soak up the smallest fraction of that star's energy, and end up with infinite energy? Silly.

Im not a comic book pro. But, I would guess the reason why marvel and DC characters are soooo OP is prob because there have been tons of different writers, one-upping each other since the 60s. They put no thought into the science of each feat because..why would they? They're writers who just wanna write a badass story that is better than the last guy. But, if Saitama befriended superman and sparred together, he would have a chance of reaching that level of power one day right?
Sorry, but I disagree with the whole gag argument. I mean, we act like these Superman feats like holding an infinite book are proof that he's stronger than Saitama because Saitama didn't show such a feat until now, but let's just be honest with ourselves and don't act like Saitama wouldn't just lift the book like a normal one when he's talking in space, kicking hyperspace gates and just ignores physics in general if needed. Let's just really use our brain and don't try to do math that even the authors of the comics/manga don't even understand, and argue with author's intent behind these feats. Will you really look me into the eye and say to me that Saitama wouldn't lift the infinite book or replicate any feat of Superman if he would be put into that situation? He hasn't taken any damage in the manga, and it's stupid to scale his durability and assume he can be damaged at all because he hasn't shown a feat of tanking anything "super multidimensional hyper 3d infinite scaling super space attack" but at the same time scale down his attack potency because he didn't show an offensive feat that scaled to superman. By feats alone we could argue Saitama is invincible as of right now, as nothing has hurt him period until now. I think people also misinterpret the exponential growth thing as it was stated it was due to an upsurge of emotions he became stronger (like a character getting angry or excited and thus using more of his available strength rather than gaining new one) as he was just tapping into his limitless amount of strength by using more of it exponentially rather than growing stronger than his past self. I generally think we should not try to only use math to powerscale, because it won't work as authors are not physicists that actually know what their feats imply and just want to make something sound cool, but rather use authors intent and just see how certain abilities would interact with another. We have enough proof that powerscaling by doing math doesn't even work within the same universe the author created, so why try to use it universally?
What are you even thinking? You clearly don’t understand the character of Saitama at all. He broke his limiter, he is infinitely strong, if his opponent is stronger, when he gets hit, he’ll become even stronger than them. I’d say Saitama is a gag character because of the overpowered superhero troop of being able to show infinite growth and power yet still scratched by a common house cat or is super fast and unable to swat a masquito. Besides there have been different writers that have written their own version of Superman. One minute he can move vast amounts of planets and the next he struggles to move one. Superman is only as powerful as the story needs him to be.
Ultimately, the outcome of a fight between Superman and another character depends on which version of Superman is chosen. Selecting a weaker Superman guarantees a loss, while a cosmically powerful Superman ensures victory. Similarly, within a specific storyline, Saitama's abilities can fluctuate wildly, demonstrating inconsistent power levels and disproving the idea of infinite growth like getting scratched by a simple cat and unable to squash a mosquito.
@@main-Bystander I agree, whenever Superman is involved it should be specified which one. As for Saitama it was never specified if his growth was infinite but it’s just implied. I see Saitama as a character who pokes fun of hero’s like Superman. Thats why, to me, he’s seen as a gag character at times. Example, no monster can truly hurt him but a simple house cat manage to scratch him.
@@rubeniniguez8430 That's also why I take these comparisons with a grain of salt 🧂. It's always better to compare things within the same universe or fiction. Comparing different pieces of art with different rules can create inconsistencies. Sentry vs Saitama is closer than you think. Sentry is stronger than Superman. Yet Superman beats Saitama, and it's not even close? You're all over the place man
I think you get this wrong and the reason why I say that is because Superman never goes all out at the first start of a fight especially fighting somebody new. so my thought is that he’s going to give Saitama time to increase in power and that would be his undoing

This is going to sound crazy but, if there's no gravity in space and everything is weightless, then shouldn't moving a planet, moon, etc from outer space be a pretty easy thing to do for someone who is already op? I mean, there's nothing holding it down, no wind resistance, no type of friction or anything.....That's something I always wondered about since I was kid 🤷♂️

In his verse, the god characters made everyone with a limiter, buuut saitama completely broke that limiter

I got to ask are you using Canon Superman or u just doing what everyone does and using everything Canon or non-canon
People just can't accept the fact that superman can be beaten up by Saitama
What are you even thinking? You clearly don’t understand the character of Saitama at all. He broke his limiter, he is infinitely strong, if his opponent is stronger, when he gets hit, he’ll become even stronger than them. The point of Saitama is it’s impossible to defeat him without someone who matches his growth, NOT STRENGTH, growth speed. To say anyone beats Saitama is just absurd, never cook again bro

I’m sorry I’ve read Superman. And he does have limits. Think about it. If you have infinite strength, why would you need a power up. It makes no difference your not going to get stronger then infinite. Also if he survived a big bang why can he still get injured. Saitama has yet to be defeated by a powerful character or been truly injured.
