Actually A-train has enhanced strength and durability and mental processing speed (like a weaker Flash). He *maybe* could hurt Hulk or Thor but he would stand no chance against the shield. That thing just does not break against kinetic force.

I think iron man would be able to hold his own against homelander for this reason. Iron man has fought enemies more powerful than him and has practiced being smart and tactical in combat, remember he fought very durable supervillains who could regenerate their limbs in iron man 3, and even killed one of them without his armor, also a shot from iron man's suit when it's charged up by Thor's lightning strike could probably do some good damage to homelander
Logically you're not wrong, it makes sense that he'd never have fought before because he's too powerful for anyone to challenge him. But in the show he did fight Soldier Boy, Butcher and Hughie at the same time and had the upper hand several times
@Please_allow_me well hughie and butcher had no experience with theor powers, and its fair to say that soldier boy was too powerful for anyone to challenge him so he never learnt to fight properly, especially since he did get taken out by the old 7 relatively easily

This would be like Lizard League vs the Guardians. Yes, there are Avengers that can be defeated by members of The Seven. But if any of the heavy hitters are present, The Seven wont even feel like a threat.
This would be a quick fight. Each team walking toward one another down a city main street. Ironman alerts the team to Translucent and will take him because he can see him. Banner is not yet Hulk. Homelander rattles off some cocky remarks as they get closer, still walking. They stop at about ten yards apart, Banner steps forward and asks them to not do this. Homelander quips and fires heat rays at Banner, who becomes the Hulk and jumps on Homelander. Ironman takes down Translucent with a single shot then turns his attention to A-Train who he is tracking on his HUD. Maeve leaps at Thor and hits him several times. Thor quips about how he does not like to hit women before sending her flying through a building. Noir and Cap also start fighting. Widow and Hawkeye might have been killed by A-Train or they might be nearby hiding and there for any support and keep innocents away. By this point Homelander is crying and screaming as he has tried everything to get the Hulk to let go as Hulk is busy smashing him into everything he can find. Ironman predicts A-Train's route and heads him off, taking him out in a single shot as well. Starlight will then go after Thor because Thor just took Maeve out. That does not go well for her either. They then help Cap, if he has not yet beaten Black Noir, finish him. When they all recollect, Hulk is dragging Homelander's beaten body with him. Cap quips to Hulk 'You broke your toy.' End. (That is not me being a fanboy as I love The Boys and Gen V. :) )

Why is everyone forgetting that Hawk Eye already took out a speedstar (Quicksliver)? And Black Widow fights Taskmaster (a Black Noir), Proxima Midnight (a Queen Mave), Ant Man and the Winter Soldier. They would not be taken out by the Seven when they are with their team.
What is this nonsense about Iron man taking everybody out in a single shot just cuz and somehow being fast enough to "cut off" someone who moves so fast you can't even see them? Okay, he can probably find a way to see Translucent, but we just gonna ignore that he is basically indestructible just to move the story along. People really make Iron Man out to be stronger than he is just because he was portrayed by a good actor.
Ironically, that's kind of the whole point that The Boys is trying to make.

It's unclear what the fastest Iron Man armor is, but even in the MCU, we've seen him reach speeds of Mach 3 - three times faster than sound, or about 2300 miles per hour. That's spectacular for superhumans, let alone for a guy with no superpowers other than his genius mind. While A-Train at least according to the Series can run about 1000 miles per hour. And yes translucent might be immune to damage from regular weapons but Iron Mans weapons are everything but regular.

Hawkeye and Widow may be just humans but their ability to gather intelligence on any enemy is very valuable.
Their both vary skilled in combat too. Widow is a highly skilled fighter. Same with Hawkeye.

@@Brickwarr501 Deep for sure has no fighting ability, and probably doesn't handle bullets too well. Translucent can tank bullets, and could only be killed with a explosive suppository. Starlight tanked a 2x .50 shots. Pistol rounds and arrows are pretty useless. So it comes down to Hawkeye and Widow, just being able to land punches and kicks on people that can literally just eat them all day. A-train can literally run right through people and turn them to mist. Noir is on Caps level, and an assassin that solos whole squads of armed people. They are just too squishy and weak.

The fight is super easy ON THE CONDITION they take out Starlight early. She can absorb Tony’s power and leave him useless, and she can take Thor’s energy too. Hulk can take her easily, as long as he does it quick.

And that team work is precisely why I think none of them would die against the Seven. If Homelander attacked, say, Hawkeye, then Thor would jump in to take the hit. Cap would use his shield. Tony would tank it. If anyone attacked the other members of the Seven, the only one who’d care is Starlight. The Seven HATE each other. None of them would work together well enough. Hell, it’s more likely that Homelander would start killing his own team members out of frustration. The Avengers would EASILY win this fight cause the Seven are an AWFUL team.

The 7 actually has several advantages here:
1. They out number the avengers by 1.
2. They’re ruthless.
3. They’re all superhuman/bulletproof. Only half of the avengers are actually superhuman.
Black Widow and Hawkeye die immediately from Homelander’s laser vision. That leaves 4 avengers against 7 bulletproof superhumans. Maeve could easily go head to head with Captain America. Starlight’s power could drain Ironman’s power source, rendering him useless. That really only leaves Thor and Hulk against Homelander, Black Noir, AND Translucent.
So, you’re right; it’s not even close. But not for the side you think.

most people here are saying avengers win pretty easily but i don't think they understand how op a-train is now that he has physically no weakness. The avengers don't have anyone who can go remotely close to his speed.
I guess it just depends on the level of preparation or knowledge of the other team. If Iron Man, Hulk or Thor pull Highlander and A-Train away from the main fight, Black Widow and Hawkeye would stand a much better chance. Kind of like the 'Batman-beats-everyone' argument.

Honestly, this would be amazing alternate universe lore for both the Avengers and the Seven. Imagine a film with both teams in the same world. The Avengers have a bit of conflict, but all of them still desire to be genuine heroes of their society. Then our main villains, the Seven, conspire against the Avengers and masquerade as the real good guys, but their lack of morals eventually catches up to them, resulting in this actually close final battle.

the things with a train is that he never fights with the boost that his speed gives him, meaning he runs but at the moment to land a hit he reduces his speed or completly stops to then procede and hit his opponent with his normal super human strength (compound v classic strenght)
In the comics the Hulk is basically immortal. I hate that thanos kicked his ass in the movie.

Doing a group battle is kind of crazy because Homelander would definitely run the first time the flying robot hits him with a unibeam, much less the flying god out of mythology calls down lightning from the heavens. And by Odin's beard, Hulk will pull limbs off Homelander the way Homelander pulls limbs off of normies.

Speed wise if omlandah is supersonic then iron man is hypersonic.

Wow, I've seen people underestimate Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Captain America before, but not quite to this extreme. Cap could easily handle Queen Meave or A-Train. We've seen Hawkeye imobilize Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. They're agile enough to dodge Homelanders laser eyes until Hulk or Thor steps in to fight them. Or be blocked by Caps shield. Hawkeye or Widow can take on Translucent, The Deep, Starlight, or Black Noir. Cap and Ironman can take down Queen Meave, Starlight, and A-Train. It would only take one of Thor or Hulk to take down Homelander. Cap took on Thanos, and while he didn't last that long, he wasn't one shot either, and he was able to hold his fist open. Ironman fought Thor, and while Thor had the upper hand most of the fight, Tony still held his own for a while. Thor withstood the heat from a neutron star for a significant portion of time, and there just is no beating the Hulk. All of them would lose to Hulk. In multiple iterations, he has taken on the entire team before and nearly won. You assume that the more durable Avengers wouldn't protect the others, but part of the reason they're so powerful is because they work well together. The Seven pretty much hate each other and have no cohesiveness in a fight. They would EASILY lose without a single casualty of the Avengers. No contest.

Just to put it out there, if homelander is anything like superman and can withstand mostly any attack that gets thrown at him. It comes down to how hard thor amd hulk have to hit him. And if they can do enough damage to break him.. homelanders lazer eyes and speed are enough proof for me that they are the only 2 that can go toe to toe with him. 17:28 17:28

Crazy how even the movie cinema/tv avengers would win against the seven because all the the avengers feats are way better in the comics
Hulk also gives them cancer and speeds up their V side effects just being near them. Hulk is living kryptonite
