yaaaa you guys compared 10 different supermans from comics, superman almost died from doomsday, darkseid and trigon on several occasions , but ya the best version of superman have betters fits*/stats , we just have to wait for one punch man to finish, maybe then we will know more
Those villains you mention are godly entities. You mention them likes it’s normal to face darkseid and trigon. Like we said in the video, darkseid has lasers that can literally erase you.
@@andrewtehdo6315 it’s more about his ability to learn how to do it in Under 3 mins, like Garou said he doesn’t need the hand of god to learn godly techniques.
Something I notice a lot in comics is that narrators or characters have to say what is happening while the panel shows the moment before it happens or what happened afterwards. Manga tends to show it happening, as it happens. Which ends up making Manga feats look far more impressive since comics tend to overinflate numbers beyond absurdity for shock value. For Saitama, he's never been shown trying or nearing a limit of any kind. Superman has a century of wildly varying limits, either too high or too low. He ranges from punching apart dimensions to being wounded by... guys. Involve red light or rocks of specific origins and anyone can win. So this is sort of like asking who is stronger, Mike Tyson in his prime or a guy whose only opponents have only ever been ants on a sidewalk? We don't know, so the only thing you can do is bet on what you DO know.
I agree. What I DO know is Saitama has never lose or taken damage. Supes has died. Until I see evidence to the contrary, I'm sticking with Satire > Logic
Also, in pretty much every vs matchup, the more badly written the character is, the more powerful. Even if it's a serious character like robo cop, they have "feats" like "a building collapsed on him and he took no damage" Well yeah, because it's an action move for kids. That doesn't make the character strong, it's just badly written.
@@lenks0 well said. Whoever wrote Hunter x Hunter was brilliant. He was able to make Meruem feel like an absolute power house but was still done in by an atom bomb of some kind. Piccolo and Goku could have tanked that easily in the first season of Z cuz of the writing. Eventually there's no where left to go lol
Seems like you don’t understand comics to me. It’s quite clear what happens on panel and the wording just tells a story. Comic feats are more impressive not because of the art. It’s more impressive since back then writers had no criteria for what the character can actually do. Superman had several different powers such as super weaving, kisses that take away memory, and even super ventriloquism. Not to mention the feats. Oh god the feats for characters like Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern were overpowered. They did it that way because they wanted to entertain the readers not to make an cohesive plot. This changes around the 1980’s where most notable Superman gets nerf into his Post Crisis variant but I digress. Manga writers don’t give their characters powers just because it’s “cool” they do it to fit their narrative. Saitama’s gag was that he is a end of series character place at the beginning of the heroes journey. I’ll get a source if you want. That’s it. Not unlimited strength or Looney Tunes eccentrics but that he is already at the peak of his power. That’s like to Goku had Ultra Instinct when he first met Bulma all there years ago. Comic characters are continuing to grow and their stories never truly end. Thus more stories, more feats.
@@DHworldwide185 Saitama's gag is that he is infinitely powerful. His story revolves more around finding purpose with that strength. That's very evident in the latest manga. He scaled infinitely beyond cosmic Garou, continuously. His power is that he's "always enough" vs whoever he goes up against. I agree with your comic take tho. Pre crisis supes was stupid - like sneezing away a galaxy. I'm convinced, however, that that's because writers just didn't know the scale of such things (if their purpose was truly shock and awe and they truly knew the scale, that's just poor writing, cuz eventually you can't get any bigger, which is what DB will run into soon). Kinda like when George Lucas said Solo made the Kessel run in under 14 Parsecs. Which sounded cool to 99% of the population cuz they had no idea what that was. And yeah he saved face by saying that was on purpose later on lol.
I thought Saitama was a parody character instead of a gag character. Like, he's grounded in reality but pulls off insane feats. A gag character would be like if he was in Looney Tunes and just broke reality, pulled 2 red suns out of his pockets, and smashed them on Superman's head. Thus allowing him to win without really having to fight. That's just my understanding of the character, I could be wrong.
@musizlover2008 apparently he can now, at least. I like OPM, it's been hilarious and I enjoyed watching the show more than any Superman show, but Sup's has always been broken OP.
We appreciate this a lot as we were extremely busy with school and our sports. We love comics and manga so this channel is like a place where we can nerd out. It might not look like much but this video took over 3 weeks to complete, thank you for this comment ❤️.
@@Weanerds yo this video was pretty good but it feels outdated despite being so new to feats that you missed for Saitama I cant speak on superman's part because I haven't read the comics but Saitama was able to calculate the amount of force needed to jump back to earth as fast as possible without piercing Boros ship and destroying earth without knowing what kind of material Boros ship was he also was able to copy one of Garous moves in their fight when he karate chopped him on the neck like how Garou did to sage centisomething he also copied the time travel feat which needs to be performed on the subatomic level with particles and anti-particles which would require some fast intellect and knowledge to do in seconds like how Saitama did and they didn't talk or anything while Garou was turning to salt he just mimicked Garou and was able to accomplish a feat Garou couldn't even do who was a battle genius that was gifted with somewhat nigh-omnipotence from god. DURABILITY feats he survived gamma ray bursts nuclear fission attacks punches that had the equivalent power of stars (from when they blasted that hole in space which means that individually at the bare minimum they have the power to destroy solar systems or more and they was growing after they did this P.S there's most definitely more feats that I missed but I'm too lazy to try and remember them so he most likely has more feats) ABILITY wise his toolkit is mainly just passive buffs and abilities like his resistances to attacks to attacks that nullify immunity he has resistance to radiation on multiple different scales along with the fact that he accrues resistances to things he interacts with for the first time almost instantly like how he thought the lava was hot when he stepped into it and then was completely fine with it in seconds MENTALLY he has withstood attacks from one of the most powerful psychics in the verse Tatsumaki who thought that he was heavy and she couldn't even affect him much which is why she resorted to throwing rocks at him the whole time and generally trying to avoid moving him telekinetically his ability to grow is interesting since its connected to his emotions but affects all his attributes basically meaning if he was enjoying a fight for long enough he could essentially just ascend into godhood this ability is pretty much metalbats but on steroids (its called fighting spirit btw or something like that) which worked when he took damage. STRENGTH wise its more or less confirmed he's galaxy level since in multiple panels backgrounds during their fight they were a few visible and quite large galaxies indicating they are close by (look at the end of Garou's chain attack on Saitama before serious table flip) the reasoning for why there possibly wasn't any in that panel was because the background was too big so they ignored detailing it fully (they did it a lot to Garou during that fight because its too tedious to continuously draw galaxies or at least the way Murata does it). CONCLUSION overall though I still think Saitama loses but I just like to point out feats for characters that I know of so as to provide overlooked knowledge to people I still maybe forgetting some of his feats but this list is already way too long but I welcome any superman enthusiasts to provide some of his feats and some powerscalers to come and do some equations for these feats.
@@dominicpatton120 still NOWHERE near supermans level even after considering what you said. and in the category he explained that puts this debate to rest is that superman can tank infinite power and since saitama has infinite POTENTIAL he literally cant beat him in any way while super man can just keep chipping him down since his attacks are stronger than garous or boros.
@@ianpigamer2433 well if superman drags the fight put for too long then saitamas rate for growth could just evolve so much to where he gains such massive amounts of power in fractions of a second. But yeah that's really the only scenario where I could see saitama somehow winning. But other than 5hat if superman is trying to take down saitama he can do it pretty quickly.
@@ianpigamer2433You are pretty wrong... Saitama defeated god... YES THAT GOD, AND BY DESTROYING THAT GOD, HE DESTROYED THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!!!! THEN HE DESTROYED THE 4TH DIMENSIONAL GOD, 5TH DIMENSIONAL GOD, AND IN THE MANGA HE IS GOING TO THE 6TH DIMENSIONAL!!!!(Im a nerrdddd, and also by destroying all of those "gods" he destroyed 3th,4th and 5th dimensional universes, so he could easily defeat super man)
The truth is that Saitama hasn't show his true power yet. But I kind of agree with your analysis. Based on feats Superman beats Saitama. What I don't agree is that Saitama's power can't grow to infinite. In summary his power is not infinite in his base (or normal) form. But once he decides to grow his power, it goes to infinity. It is really simple.
Based on observed feats alone, Superman wins every time. However, Saitama's feats have grown considerably in the last year. Superman has had many decades to demonstrate his feats.
@@0oooooooog some version of superman have beaten beaten being that can turn god of op verse into a monkey. Saitama ain't doing shit other than being sups bitch.
To be honest, these are two characters that frequently scale to exactly whatever the writer wants them to at any given time, which mat be more or less than other times. So their feats can't logically or consistantly allow us to figure out their power levels. That being said Superman has lost many battles whereas the writers never let saitama lose a fight. So saitama would probanly be given the win if a fight between them were ever written.
So if we remove all power scaling and ONLY use writer's logic, your preferred outcome occurs, @4dojo ? Do you realize that this is the most blatant way to cope over the fact that Saitama obviously gets one-shot by Superman? You're clearly ignoring how important it is to use feats to compare the characters accurately because it's two different writers and two different universes. Of course, the comparisons will be inconsistent because unlike One Punch Man, Superman comics have had a lot more than just one writer, but just because it's easier to just say "well if this was a story..." and call it a day. Also, you're assuming that if there was a story written that One would be writing the story. Your logic is based on the assumption that One's narrative ideas are more important than any of the Superman writers' narrative ideas. This comment is nothing but cope.
@@comiccraze927 Okay. Calm down, it's just talking about meaningless fiction. Getting worked up about it defeats the purpose of it just being for fun. I do see your point, but I think that it is different with these two characters because they really are inconsistently written, and maybe in Superman's case that might have more to do with having so many different versions, reboots, and writers over the years, but even so Superman's capabilities have indeed varied wildly. Meanwhile One Punch Man's abilities are consistent in one regard: He is literally just a joke character designed to be unbeatable and win every battle. That is the joke of his character and the reason that he will always just happen to be strong enough to kill any enemy in one punch with no explanation. No matter how much stronger his next opponent is than the last one that he defeated Saitama will still unexplainably be able to win with one punch, not because of any kind of consistent scaling logic, but because his abilities are effectively a Chuck Norris meme. For Saitama to ever lose a fight to anyone would be a contradiction to his own character.
People have to realize the basic tenet behind the design of legacy super heroes like Superman and characters like Saitama.. Superman is op, because he has a baseline and writers need to scale it up based on whatever situation/plot he finds himself in.. This is not the case for Saitama, he does not need to be op..because his capabilities cannot be baselined/measured in terms of traditional strength/power. Hence this comparison is pointless .He will always be stronger(even if this term can be assigned to him) than the strongest version of Superman..
@@comiccraze927his main point was that power scaling these two characters against each other was impossible, due to their power constantly scaling to however powerful they need to be to defeat the enemy. In his opinion Saitama beats superman, which is totally fine. Saitama’s full power has never been shown, but that doesn’t automatically mean it scales above superman. I’m not sure why you decided to start ridiculing him about his opinion, despite it being flawed. (since you can’t really scale Saitama or superman based on plot). Getting worked up about this kind of stuff kills the discussion, and only leads to further toxicity from both sides. It’s all just cartoons and comics.
if saitama had stronger opponents that he has faced or continued to fight cosmic garou for a while longer, he would be able to reach superman levels and above because of his insane power growth speeds
@@Weanerds Given the work put into this video and being a OPM fan myself I'd love to agree, but I don't think anything reflects that reality. This comes mostly from the fact that Superman has had decades of canon and a slew of writers - many of which felt that they needed to 'top' the previous with his exploits (Not to also mention that at Superman's inception, I don't think many of his writers even knew the implications of the powers they had given him). As far as I've been lead to believe (I believe from the mangaka himself) Saitma's 'gag' is that he is a character at the end of his arc being plonked into the beginning of the story, which is why he has been bodying everyone thus far. While I'm certain the writer could eventually keep stacking him with feats, I don't think they're going to ever be on par with Superman's just because there is just so much stacked upon Superman's side in that regard.
@@kevinmiller576I agree with this, but it’s 100 percent a possibility if Superman holds back and Saitama grows. Due to Saitama inf potential it’s possible but it’s not likely to happen. If it were a serious fight with both characters not holding back, Superman would easily win.
10:24 “I’ve opened my eyes and see that Saitama is NOWHERE NEAR Superman in terms of ANYTHING”. This right here made me spit out my damn drink at work. Also, the amount of OPM copium in this comment section is hysterical.
I love how people make calculations based on real life science instead of imagination of authors, because that's the only way to explain the logic in comics.
If the writers would actually use science in their writing then Superman is an invincible being. He’s survived an infinite mass punch from flash(oh yeah and flash is insanely op by comparison but that’s for another time).
Love this, as a OPM fan i too agree that it's not fair putting Saitama against these well known and old characters because there's just a lot of different information from different sources meanwhile Saitama is still developing.
Dosnt matter..Saitama's character is built/designed to be always immeasurably stronger than the opponent he faces.. Superman or any other, he already surpasses them..
@@yossarian4253 we can't officially say something like that since we haven't seen his full potential unlike Goku and Superman or any other op characters that already have different type of op versions that can defeat or one shot the current Saitama.
@@3amNightFrog that is the thing..there is no potential limitation to Saitama given the premise he is in.. Also there is no evidence in the opm universe to even remotely suggest that Superman or Goku or any such op character can even remotely hurt Saitama.. On the other hand theae characters have been repeatedly hurt and even killed on multiple occasions.. Hence this comparison is pointless.. Saitama will always win because thats the only constant/baseline for him..
In OPM universe, emotions give chance to insane growth. Saitama can reach Super level, he just needs the motivation to do it and not being one shot by him.
Superman's strength changes from comic to comic. The old cartoons said he had the strength of 10 men. Zod, and anyone older than supes, or Kryptonoian trained fighters, should be able to trounce him easily.
Goku beats a lot of versions of superman especially super Goku but it would still be difficult Also I know superman is like the HERO of heroes but when you have a character that is absurdly strong only have ants as enemies with only real threat being the broly of DC Doomsday just what is the use of the other heroes if supes can always at anytime beat all their enemies before the attack
@@GUYFROMEldosUltimately Superman's power stems from the yellow sun with some unknown multiplier but essentially a god and it's just Superman who always holds back. Saitama is similar where he's never putting his all into it and always holding back for a good fight vs his namesake in 'one punch man.' Goku is the opposite. He's the infinite potential, he must be beaten to give him a target to overcome. But that target has to be within his range and he just take seriously and take damage from as we see with his training with Whis that Goku isn't remotely on that level yet.
@@GUYFROMEldos That's not the point of Superman, per say. I may have read your comment wrong, but Superman's whole thing isn't being this super strong fucking god that can one shot anyone and anything. Sure, he has the power to, but he wouldn't just do it just because he can. Its about doing the good thing and saving the day.
The superman in the comics is stronger than the superman in the animated movie franchise. There is a reason why movie makers and animators won't make those happen, they are pointless. The greatest problem with superman is that he has been killed by doomsday, shot with a green rock nearly killing him then immediately after fights Darkseid who is way stronger than doomsday and beats him and holds reality together, while very far from a yellow sun as there are more red suns than yellow. I don't like the inconstancy of Superman's strength, he's as strong as he is needed and as weak as he is needed. Unlike Saitama, gets strong and never looks back The strongest version of Superman can beet the strongest version of Saitama. The weakest version of hero Saitama can beat the weakest version of Superman.
Very nice comparison of powers.. however you failed to mention one important thing that would decide the match even before it would begin.. you see, Superman would never fight Saitama, because he knows Saitama is a buddy with King.. and Superman would never risk to piss off King.. he is not that stupid
Not really. Injustice Superman is now CANNON in new mainstream comics. He is now as real as Dr. Manhattan is in DC or Batman Who Laughs. And Injustice Superman would definitely fight Saitama. So, no.
@@kingol4801 yeah you obviously didnt get the joke. probably because you are a DC fan watching this with absolutely no idea what you are talking about when you reference saitama, and is completely assuming everything about OPM based on saitamas feats and no actual experience of the plot
Ichigo has feats just as high as the ones listed for Superman in this video, with the exception of the intelligence feat. So no, Ichigo vs those 2 is just as unfair.
I can't believe you're including Naruto with Ichigo. And claiming him to put against Saitama himself? Soo ridiculous. Don't underestimate Saitama cause in future he would be considered the God of Superman.
Since when did kryptonite matter? Superman would still beat Saitama in a fight. A green rock weakness doesn't take away the fact he can still perform all the feats listed in the video.
@lucifer61479 we know how to observe tho, and from what I have seen, saitama got bored mid fight, then decided to end the fight in 0 punches. Not only does saitama "going full power" destroys the character, but it also implies that saitama stands no chance against God, which we all know is false
@lucifer61479 kid isn't really an insult + you didn't read the second half of what I wrote earlier + saitama can't have been full power as he was fighting with one hand while holding back so he doesn't kill Garou + the English translation is not accurate and I am pretty sure it meant he can no longer care about collateral damage, in the JP translation he said fight to your heart's content while the Chinese translation he said do your best
@lucifer61479 You're not leaving things clear in your comment that's why it's hard to understand what you're trying to say. Are you claiming that Saitama was weaker than Garou? And he already fought God and died like Goku?? Since when did all these Happen. Like boy am I reading your comments right?!! Unbelievable.
Saitama is a parody character, not a gag character. There is a difference. Also Saitama is easily below Superman in terms of power and all that, but he also grows at an exponential rate given sufficient reason so the tables may or may not turn in an extended fight. Or simply at the end of the manga when he presumably beats god or somesuch, but that is probably years away.
The author himself stated that he wants saitama to appear in battle scene and blow away all obstacles with a punch because he does not want to think of a complicated solution in fixing the problem.

Superman fused with every version of himself in the comics or some bs like that recently, so he has every feat from every version. Wtf Saitama finna do vs the one that sung Darkseid away?
We are using “base” Superman which is just regular Superman, not really different versions more like different iterations due to different writers and different writers do different things with Superman’s strength so we take the strongest things base Superman does and put it up against the strongest things saitama can do. We believe a difference version of Superman would be 1 million prime or cosmic Superman.
He was saying current base superman has all of his pre crisis , post crisis, new 52 and rebirth history merged into one. So all the feats from those continuities are canon to current superman
@@Weanerds base superman would be multiversal plus as during dc death metal superman was attacked with every form of kryptonite in the dark multiverse to weakened him enough for the anti-life equation to kill him but it failed. the anti-life equation is multiversal as Darkside stated it ends all reality, and it is the dark half of the source wall. so, a weakened superman is multiverse. not to mention superman fought apex predator Lex Luthor who Perpetua states an apex predator can kill her three sons which are the monitor, anti-monitor, and world forger not to mention apex lex beat hawk girl who had the power of the cosmic raptor who was the being that trapped Perpetua in the source wall, and lex swatted away Shayne who had all the power of the 6th dimension. and when superman fought and beat this apex lex, lex had the 7 dark forces so no base superman is beyond universal

@@oTstic what you've meant by infinite potential or infinitely strong whatever it is all those fits with Saitama rather than Superman. Cause Saitama is literally invulnerable in character. And it's Saitama who's more like an immovable object in contrary to Superman who's the unstoppable Force.
While (the many versions of) Superman has better feats, he also has more substantial anti-feats. He's been hurt plenty of times by basic things like getting smacked with vehicles or getting thrown or body slammed into the ground. And Superman's feats are generally him using a significant amount of effort. Meanwhile we've never really even seen Saitama struggle, and now we know that if actually pushed at all, he grows like Superman sun-dipping on steroids. But since Superman has shown better feats either way, I'm not sure why you bothered downplaying or skipping some of Saitama's. The Phoenix Space wasn't a physical space, it was a mental/spiritual realm with a different passage of time where physical interaction wasn't possible, and Saitama broke into it on accident... somehow. The Japanese for hyperspace and subspace are the same thing, and either way they were holes in the fabric of space-time that Saitama was casually waving around. It's akin to when Bugs Bunny picks a hole up off the ground or off a wall. And it's been stated multiple times that Blast and Garou could manipulate space-time and the reality of the cosmos. Garou was also stated to have gained full knowledge and understanding of all energy and forces in the universe. This is how he was able to measure and copy the strength Saitama used. However by the end, even with this knowledge, he couldn't even comprehend casual Saitama's strength. Then the big part that you completely left out, where Garou showed Saitama a technique that he could do through his own strength without the power of God, where he focused and controlled his particles, making himself go backwards in time. Then while standing in the time stream, observing different past moments all at once, he casually punched right through it and landed a hit before the punch was thrown, which was a reversal of causality and absolutely unavoidable. He did forget how to do this, but it still stands that he's powerful enough to be easily capable of it. Being able to land an attack before it's thrown is practically textbook immeasurable speed. It breaks the time/speed formula, like how Saitama literally broke through the time stream. Gag characters don't depend on having nothing but funny moments any more than serious characters depend on having nothing but serious moments. Your argument against Saitama being a gag character because of serious moments would be like if I pointed out a funny moment with Walter White and declared that he's no longer a dramatic or serious character. Some of the serious moments you're referring to even involve some of the most gag-like moments we've seen. While fighting the person that just killed his best friend and in the most serious mood we've ever seen, he was tossing around holes in space-time, sneezing Jupiter apart, and farting to fly through space. The fact is that Saitama and his strength are a type of gag according to ONE and Murata. The entire point of Saitama is that he will always be stronger than whatever gets thrown at him, even if it's nonsensical. The basis of the story is that Saitama has already reached the point where he can't be physically challenged by anything, so now we explore how he interacts with the world, how it interacts back, and how he feels now that he already met his goal. If he's suddenly given the same goal again and finds a real challenge in a fight, it would rob the entire story of its meaning. It would require a huge narrative shift and a change to the foundation of his character. Realistically, if they actually fought, like a cross-over, both of their narratives would be applied like normal. Saitama is meant to be unbeatable, Superman is not. However, if we removed Saitama's gag/parody aspects, and Saitama is allowed to be challenged, they would both hold back a great deal initially before gradually increasing their output. Saitama would be surprised that Superman can keep up, and if he gets to use "all" of his strength and/or actually gets damaged, he would be overjoyed that he's found a real fight. He'd feel the thrill he can only get from the possibility of defeat and get the fire back in his eyes, and he'd be growing stronger at an insane rate. With no limiter to his growth, there's no restriction to how much strength he can access if given a reason to. While Superman ramps up the difficulty, he'd soon realize that no matter how hard he hits, Saitama immediately hits back just as hard. Then he hits back harder, and harder, with every strike increasing Saitama's power exponentially. With no dependence on an energy source and no limit to his growth, he'd only get stronger and stronger as the fight goes on. Even if he's damaged again it would just make him exponentially more durable. It's like fighting Doomsday except the adaptation is immediate instead of after resurrection. Before long Superman wouldn't be able to keep up. The more damage he takes and the more strength he uses, the weaker he gradually gets, while the opposite applies to Saitama. Or we can have a fight where neither narrative applies, morals are turned off, they're out of character, we ignore anti-feats, Saitama actually does have limits, and all that matters is a comparison of the best feats. In that case Superman goes all out immediately and kills Saitama.
Time traveling wouldn’t matter if Saitama won’t have a chance to time travel when Superman charges at Saitama as soon as fight starts. We take characters at their strongest not weakest, if we used anti feats than we can also use saitama not being able to kill a mosquito and in recent chapters it’s shown mosquito girl is still alive. Our argument is the series one punch man actually has depth and seriousness in it, throwing jokes around doesn’t make it him gag character. Your example using breaking bad, it’s mostly serious but throws a joke every once and a while, one punch man is mostly funny but has its serious moments. It’s not like bugs bunny’s or SpongeBob where SpongeBob can unravel the universe using a piece of STRING. Saitama is bound by some type of logic or else he wouldn’t need to jump from the moon to earth, showing the force of Saitama’s jump to, making a crack in the moon. While bugs bunny is pulling mountains closer together and changing the weather by removing the sun or something, or when Patrick from SpongeBob ran to the sun. If you just look it up, subspace and hyperspace are two different things, subspace is 3 dimensional, hyperspace has more than 3 dimensions so it’s different, so if the space gate is 4d that would be huge for Saitama as he’s above 3D beings but if its a subspace then saitama is capped at 3D and due one translation saying hyper and the other saying sub, we’re not sure. If we go to older comics Superman also went back in time, multiple times. Our argument is Saitama needs time to grow as he was growing while fighting, how can saitama grow if the fight ends in 2 seconds since Superman heavily outscales saitama.
@@Weanerds I know that time travel alone doesn't compare with composite Superman's best feats. Like I said, he has better feats overall. But it's still a lot more relevant than repelling Boros' attack or the table flip, so you omitting it doesn't really make sense. I was looking at the fight how it would realistically happen in a cross-over, not just using specific power scaling parameters. I already agreed that with the framework you want to use, Superman could beat Saitama. But I think that both strengths and weaknesses should be considered. Going by best feats shown at the time alone, Boros and Garou should've beat Saitama, and God should be able to beat Saitama. Superman has been hurt by less than what Saitama has been completely unfazed by. Anti-feats can sometimes be clear outliers, but they shouldn't be completely ignored when they happen during serious moments and show some limits that a character has. The mosquito was not an anti-feat, it was clearly a joke scene. Even if taken literally, it would just mean there was an especially invulnerable mosquito. Mosquito Girl surviving is especially not an anti-feat any more than Sneck or Hammerhead surviving are. There's no rule that states that anyone that Saitama hits has to die, and we've never seen him fighting at his limit with intent to kill. I know that One Punch Man has serious moments, just like Breaking Bad has comedic moments. That's not what decides what kind of characters they are. One Punch Man is explicitly meant to be a serious, dangerous world that contrasts with the nonsensical and gag-like nature of Saitama. That's what the author says, it's not my opinion. Obviously it's a more realistic setting than the typical gag setting, but by the rules of that world Saitama's strength makes no sense. He shouldn't be as strong as he is based on his training. He shouldn't be able to manipulate spiritual realms, holes in space time, or time and causality with nothing but pure physical strength. He shouldn't be able to beat down with minimal difficulty a cosmic being that's a master martial artist and can copy his strength. But he just does. His strength not being as cartoony doesn't mean it's not nonsensical or a type of gag. The reason why one translation says hyperspace and one says subspace is because the same Japanese word is used for both. jlearn.net/dictionary/亜空間 The technicality over which word is supposed to be used doesn't matter in the original language. For a more in depth definition, Google AI says, "The Japanese word akuukan means 'hyperspace' or 'subspace'. It can also mean 'dimension' or 'time-space'." And ChatGPT says, "The characters for 'interdimensional' in Japanese are 亜空間 (あくうかん, 'akuukan'). This term is often used in science fiction and fantasy contexts to refer to spaces or realms that exist between or beyond the usual dimensions of reality." In any case, they're clearly holes in space-time linking two different places in 3D space. Saying it can't be 4D would be like having a 2D plane that's folded and has a hole poked through so two points are connected, and arguing that the act of folding the paper beyond its 2D axis and piercing it is not 3D. It's also clear that Blast and God deal with different dimensions, and God is meant to be a kind of higher dimensional being. Using this technicality between hyperspace and subspace in English to try and claim Saitama caps at 3D just comes across as a cope, especially since he directly manipulated and broke through the time stream himself. It's a bit of stretch to say Saitama "needs" time in order to grow. Do you honestly think that if he's in an encounter with Blast or God and time gets paused he would be helpless? Assuming we create a Frankenstein Superman out of all the different versions and continuities, and ignore all character traits and narrative aspects so they go all out based on best feats, unless Saitama is killed instantly his growth would still be a factor. The whole point of it is that it has no limit. It's not like Saitama would be stuck at the same rate whether he's fighting someone as strong as him or much stronger. If there's a level of strength he needs to reach and you decide that he's unable to, you're imposing a limit on his growth. Even if we did dictate that his growth shown against Garou is as good as it gets (and skipping the part where he grew beyond the measure of all energy and forces in the universe), that rate was already insane. Each interval of exponential growth was in the time between MFTL+ punches. Superman could be quadrillions of times stronger and 2 seconds would be more than enough to close the gap. And Saitama's reversal of causality would also pose an issue. I don't know if Superman has any feats landing attacks before he makes them, even when he's time travelled.
Just add on to this, the Mosquito was obviously a joke, Mosquito Girl wasn’t meant to survive it, she was only brought back because people liked the art someone drew, and even then it could’ve been a clone of mosquito girl. Then even if we take this into account, Saitama has hit opponents faster then a mosquito more times then he hasn’t, Superman has been hurt by attacks weaker then planet destroying more often then he has survived attacks planet destroying. Doomsday has killed Superman, Doomsday is not universe destroying. I get taking best feats, but you also have to consider their normal feats.
To be fair, Superman has existed as a character for decades. He has had multiple stories all written by different writers each trying to one up each other in terms of scale and power. That's what happens with long running superhero universes, the power levels get insane. Like how Flash went from being the guy who's fast to being able to outrun time and destroy the universe by running.
I believe the Phoenix Man feat still scales Saitama up. Phoenix Space only allows those IN that Phoenix Man selects. Yes, CE could leave via willpower but he had no way of entering this world without PM allowing it. Saitama somehow punched into this non-existant space that he was no brought into SOMEHOW. Its not like the world is contained in a bubble or something, its a mental space that obviously doesnt exist in the physical world (since PM is shocked saitama could physically punch it) so yeah he can still break dimensionality to some extent. Even Garou while in monster form can warp space to the point where he affects invisible dimensions
The thing is when we got the exponential growth panel, that was just Garou’s perspective of Saitama. Saitama wasn’t even taking the fight seriously, this growth was clearly not from getting stronger. It would make more sense if Saitama just had relativistic strength, where he is always stronger than his enemies. That way when Garou was fighting Saitama it seemed like his strength was growing, but it was all just an illusion because of Saitama’s relativistic strength.
This is correct! Doesn't matter how you interpret the panel personally, the fact is that it represents a false narrative through an observation from Garou. Saitama's strength and durability do not "grow" with unlimited potential. He's completely removed all limiting factors including potential. That's the entire premise of the manga, he's reached the ultimate final stage from the beginning and is terribly bored with it. A genius blend of comedy, action and some of the most relatable characters despite their absurd designs.
@@danielaguiar7891That's called a false narrative. The narrator is never omniscient, because homo sapiens aren't omniscient. In manga and often anime, the writers have followed the same commentary tropes in combat scenes. It's satirized heavily in certain manga like Bastard!!. But to further prove the point on a false narrative, look at Bang who claims to know the strength of Saitama, so says his narrative as written by the 'omniscient' narrator. Bang doesn't know jacksh^t compared to Garou about Saitama's strength. The only character so far that can even remotely comprehend Saitama is Dr. Genus--and the reader ofc...sometimes.
@@thisguy3500 completely agree.. Saitama will always be immeasurably stronger than his opponent, dosnt matter who it is.. Thats how he is designed..unlike any other legacy character..
For the moment i would say that Sups has more raw power than Saits but we still have not really seen Saits real power, they have not shown us of what Saits can really do, what his capacity and raw power really is.
I will tell you... He destroyed Literal GODS(in the manga ofc) the 3rd,4th,5th dimensional gods! And in the manga he is going to the 6th dimensional god(im a OPM NERDDDD, and also by destroying those "gods" he DESTRYORS LITERAL 3RD,4TH,5TH DIMENSIONAL UNIVERSES! So.... Saitama fans... DONT BE DISSAPOIMTED YET!
Why are so many people stating Saitama's true feats have yet to be shown? There was a graph showing his power and statements by the author giving hints of his limits and how his powers work. He did go all out against Garou but towards the end he outgrew Garou way too much. People need to chill on the Saitama brown nosing. He's strong but he's not that guy.
It's definitely wrong to say he went all out or even close to it. He wasn't trying. He wasn't trying to kill, and used 1 hand the entire time with zero issues. Pretty far stretch
Doesn't Superman have known Weaknesses like "Kryptonite" and "MAGIC"? Saitama is one of my favorite characters because he's an unknown and has infinite potential we have yet to see a limit to. Superman on the other hand has been beaten plenty of times and has a moral dilemma that is used against him. Not trying to be a fanboy for Saitama but I like him better overall.
Any of Superman’s enemies bully Saitama lmao someone losing a fight in no way makes them weak. It just makes their enemy stronger than them. Braindead Saitama fans as usual
@@cameronmaxie4365 It seems you are the braindead one. Losing is losing, in the end. It places a limit, even if conditional. Saitama does not need to lose to grow. He can just grow AS he battles.
The thing with Saitama tho, is that it wouldn't be absurd if he simply won no effort. I'll elaborate: You know... As you can see by now, I'm probably an OPM fan right? But I don't hate your ranking... Actually I agree... Various characters have won by their feats. I don't care if people think Saitama woould lose for character A or character B, I'm satisfied with the ""otherwise's plausibility""..... The reason Saitama divides so many opinions is because of his concept, not his feats... Honestly, no matter how strong a character is, or how grandious his feats are... Deny but I bet even you could easily visualize Saitama simply overpowering any character with a bored expression.... Even if the other character wins in the current analysis, your subconscious can't help but imagine otherwise... And we all know that, for a "fanboy", this hurts deep inside. This bald causes an overwhelming feeling of eternal ambiguity to any deathbattle fan..... And this is my favorite thing about him.... I There are probably other characters that causes similar effects but.... Saitama is cooler, I don't know Imgonnatakea sh*t..."
I can see what you are saying, Saitama is often portrayed as having a neutral unphased expression against his opponents except for the Saitama he went against Cosmic Fear Garou. You literally can't help but visualize him against any other anime character with the same Unphased expression of boredom having to hold back his power.
Saitama was just pissed at Garou Soley for Coring genos and killing the heroes. If Garou hadn't done all that Saitama might've not started all out and slowly powered up the same with Boros and their fight reaching the same conclusion as the prior.
Saitama is not a 'gag' character. A 'gag' character is "usually a character that is rarely used, and typically exhibits little or no personality except to serve as the conduit for a joke in comic strips and TV shows". An example of a gag character would be the giant chicken in Family Guy. I honestly believe that Saitama is a parody character that pokes fun at exaggeratedly overpowered superheroes who many consider boring because there's no real challenge for them. In fact, ironically enough I feel that Saitama might be parodying Superman himself.
The highest we can probably take saitama is Galaxy to universal. There’s also Saitama’s infinite growth but since Superman is already much stronger, as soon as the match starts, Saitama loses.
Well its worth mentioning that supes has taken L's from lesser characters before who cant do what he can do. And its not only about the damage part for saitama... but he hasnt lost a single fight yet. And just because you haven't seen him do something doesn't mean that with his track record that he cant do it.
That’s due to Superman’s kindness/ being outsmarted. Superman loses to a character like Batman because he doesn’t really want to kill Batman. In one comic Superman doesn’t hold back and one shots Batman. Superman has one shotted people like the world forger. Tbf superman strength just comes from the writer and writers tend to nerf or just make Superman busted.
@@Weanerds this is facts, but it introduces a lot of inconsistencies into his cannon and makes him overall a sloppy character.. saitama will never lose to someone weaker than him, and saitama has done the same, he doesn't go all out on characters like garou or heros like tasumaki, but instead he picks their brain and see's that they really just want to either let anger out like tasumaki or let some play a role till they've taken it too far like garou, since he's a hero for fun he lets others have their fun till he has to get serious and end it. Even after garou killed genos saitama kept his promise to that kid and didn't kill him. Supes would killed garou if he felt like there was no other way. But Superman can't have fun with it like saitama does, he can't or he'll take damage, saitama doesn't block most attacks and isn't severely injured by any of it... whether they are stronger or weaker.. and tbh that should be how Superman should be written, but he gets slapped around till he decides to then rise to the occasion.. but just like Goku.. compared to saitama supes has his limits. And so far saitama hasn't shown any and is already strong asf to blast stars and galaxies away. And like I said the force from a punch like that... even tho supes has done more.. taking a punch like that while in a weakened state will means supes is done for, plus if doomsday has killed certain iterations of supes, I feel like saitama can win easy. And I don't take lazy or hype value as that's something supes can do on a whim. Like he can't just wake up and punch a hole in reality if he wanted to. He has to be driven to a certain point where he's pushed to do so. But that doesn't matter if saitama can just dodge it. Supes is a threat to the universe doing stuff like that. Also saitama shatter his physical limitations so I feel like he can lift w.e supes can lift.
The thing about this is Superman enemies are shown to use “hacks” or Superman’s weaknesses or even just be too strong for Superman. God like beings can destroy the multiverse and somehow Superman pulls thru due to the writer wanting Superman to win. It really is what it is we can’t downplay Superman knocking out god like beings even though sometimes it doesn’t make sense. It’s sorta the same with saitama, Saitama’s worst display of strength was probably not being able to kill a mosquito, we don’t use this obviously because it was a joke but even when he slapped mosquito girl, it was shown in recent chapters she’s still alive. We’re not going to downplay Saitama just because he couldn’t kill mosquito girl or kill a mosquito, same with Superman, we’re not going to take Superman worst display and put it against Saitama’s worst display, that’s unfair to both characters as we both know Superman and Saitama are both extremely strong. We take both their strongest forms shown in their respective series and see who has stronger powers/feats. If saitama fought multiversal level beings without a slight bit of damage, then we will say Saitama might beat Superman.
@@Weanerds yea but none of that implies saitama not being able to do something is a weakness for him. As I said earlier he doesn’t kill all the time, but monsters like mosquitoe girl, or even humans like the dude with the black suit that saitama busted off him, he sees these people for who they are something even monsters and can see they don’t need to die, just a smack should do the trick and boom now they have jobs contributing to society lol, he’ll even that big gorilla got a job somewhere, it’s not a weakness they are still alive, he’s a completely different kind of hero, and tbh you know superman can’t and hasn’t taken on god like being by himself, the justice league had a huge part in that, mainly Batman’s intelligence and flash speed, he has a whole team and more people willing to help him weaken whoever it is they are fighting for super man to deal a final blow. Most of them tell super man you can’t just go in trying to punch all your problems away. Saitama has just him. And a lot of times has been out of reach from whoever would try to help him beat said villain. So untill I see superman beat a godly being on his own I’m not going to assume he can on his own. Superman might be a god to other people in his verse but against god like entities or other dimensional beings he’ll always need help. Help that so far saitama doesn’t and wouldn’t need.
he’s beaten darkseid numerous times by himself and Saitama’s enemies are no where near darkseid. Even if Superman isn’t alone when fighting these god like entities, he still goes blow for blow for some god like entities. For examples me, We cant downplay Superman one shotting a god just because Batman was telling him to attack at the right time. If Superman can shatter reality but Batman told him how to shatter reality, it doesn’t take away the fact superman was strong enough to shatter reality.
I love how these saitama fans are completely ignoring superman's feats, i mean. Has saitama destroyed a multiverse with one punch? I don't think so, but guess what. Superman has.
Superman fanboy postalguyy trying to self comfort by jacking superman. Bite the reality, nothing superman can do to hurt saitama. Even Blast and Garao can tear superman easily as A4 paper. Superman fan boy😂
I was this close to liking this channel mainly because your microphone quality is actually good but I don't still think that using feats from all different continuities of DC supermen to apply to one superman is just disingenuous to a vs battle I hope going foward you and the individuals you bring on don't continue to so going forward
We try and average his powers out as we are using base supermen. Since we are scaling Saitama to his strongest it would be unfair to not use base Superman as his strongest either. It’s clear that different writers have different views on how strong Superman is but we cannot just ignore some of his feats just because their by a different comic book.
@@Weanerds I get what you mean I understand why ignoring the past feats supermen have done wouldn't feel right since it's up against a highball'd saitama. Definitely finding a middle ground for the two and how and if either would fair against each other would an interesting discussion as well [though at least I would like to think so]. As far as they whole continuity thing with superman my response at first was a little knee jerk in hindsight though it really up to you/however your collabing with in regards to how you go about it. Which in and of itself is bad/wrong in a general sense, I just have different stance it.
Nah we just reaching the tip of the iceberg with Superman’s strength with this vid, if we rlly went in depth with Superman’s strength thru out ALL comics, the vid would be like 30 mins. In a sense we kinda downplayed Superman but we didn’t want the video to be too long bc school was starting and pre season for our sports we’re starting so we just took feats that we understood and scaled Superman.
the thing is there is only one version of saitama while supermans strength durability and speed are like really inconsistend. Like In movies and series as well as Comics superman takes damage from attacks that saitama could easely do while in other parts he just tanks ridiculous stuff. The same goes for speed and strength... But I guess strongest superman vs Strongest saitama would be Supermans win. While weakest superman vs weakest saitama (like after saitama got all his powers so when he got bald and all that E1 of the Anime or Ch1 of the manga), Saitama would win after some time cause of his growth (weakest superman couldn't harm him and after some time saitama would just one punch him). Also I think if Superman Takes it easy and gives saitama like 3 sec (which is long since they fight at superspeed) Saitama is gonna outgrow him. But aside from this superman wins.
Yesss bro I like this thinking. It’s 100 percent possible for Saitama to outgrow Superman, the question is, will Superman hold back and let Saitama grow?
@@nathanfrench6268 Maybe, maybe not. Superman himself holds back just like Saitama, "improving" for him just means holding back less. Given Saitama's obvious laidback attitude any "improvement" could be seen by Superman as him just trying more just like himself not getting exponentially stronger.
Depends on the version, just look what the heck Superboy Prime did in all the freaking comics he appeared. If Saitama can outgrow him or not, once he kills "him" the battle is over, cuz that mf can just tell anyone in earth prime (Real world in DC comics) to let this man die, like, literally eliminating him as a fictional being, or destroying the mangas, killing the author, etc. (Ain't no gonna lie, idk what the heck they were smoking by doing that bruh.)
2:56 "it's not even close." Let me refer you back to 1:22 "he can exponentially grow to infinite levels of power." So Saitama scales beyond whomever he's fighting, and has infinite levels of power. That just seals it, it's over at that there's no arguing against infinite. He's literally on track to fight "god," and according to his series name, we can guess how it'll end. There's no DC characters on his level.
In the show, Saitama isn’t even called one punch man tho, he’s called caped baldy. Saitama also didn’t beat Boros or garou in one punch and in recent chapters the mosquito girl is confirmed to be alive. We say it’s not close because of how vastly different Saitama’s feats are compared to Superman’s. Yes he can grow exponentially but it takes time because it’s “growing” not instant. How is saitama going to win, if Superman already put a hole through saitama.
@@Weanerds lol that was quick. I tease I just like Saitama more than Superman. We'll have to agree to disagree on our hypothetical fight between two gods 🤣
Saitma works in q different way. Like if Superman faced Saitama, he'd be able to get a few hits on him, like Cosmic Garou did. But since we know that Saitama grows so fast and his growth and the rate of growth depends upon the power level of the opponent that he faces. If superman were to face him, superman would overpower Saitama 1st, but since the powergap is so huge, the rate of growth of Saitama would become infinite and within a few seconds if not micro seconds, Saitama will climb up to the level od Superman, and within another few microseconds, Superman's power level would become like an ant's power compared to Human. So at the end of the day, Saitama wins.
Well how about this. Superman is currently stronger than any form or mulestone that saitama has managed to break, thus saitama would be suicidal to approach superman with the intent of defeating him. We not gonna suger coat it, nothing saitama has ever shown as of current surpasses supermans capabilities, or even reaches them.
"Superman needs as strong he needs to be" -Dc comics writer Plus, his strength increases exponentially with the solar energy he absorbs. But I know Saitama is strong as well.
@@ConsciousApostle999 I'm not saying that Saitama would defeat him. I'm saying that if Saitama went to Superman to defeat him, he'd get beaten so badly that he might even get on verge of death, but then his strength would increase so much in the matter of nano seconds that he'll not be able to die, but even if Superman was stronger, this cycle will keep repeating until Saitama becomes strong enough to defeat Superman.
Because of the graph explaining Cosmic Garou and Saitama power levels, and your claim that Saitama has infinite potential, i'd say Superman takes a win. As long as they're never met, Superman is Stronger than Saitama. If Saitama and Superman fights, Saitama will definitely outgrows Superman. Also, recently Saitama was shown to Bench pressing Two Black Holes, so.......
That’s possible for sure but considering we scaled season 1 saitama durability to star level and his attack also to star level, it’s certainly possible that they really did destroy stars.
consindering sitmama foughtmonster before he became invincalbe, his battle IQ must be mpretty high sicne untill he broke his lmityer he was a nomral human
*Superman dont have limitasions plus every ability you can think up superman got [ no character from any universe can ever reach supermans true power level its mathematically imposible*
That’s a lie my character would destroy Superman in every right. My character Ability is called Deishinsu Mugen- it allows my character to decide the outcome of any and everything in existence. Being fights, the structure of the universe etc… then on top of that if anything tries to bring harm to whatever vessel my character inhabiting. A spirit called Black Jade will manifest and manipulate their existence rendering them powerless and mindless and adding their soul power to my characters own power giving him complete control over that person existence. Up side to my character power nobody has immunity to his power. The down side is to his power is that black jade will erase him from exist if he ever goes over the limitations use in 9 days. Once close to the limitation he is required to rest for 6 days after that his power will be temporarily sealed for 3 days and will return once the requirement has been met. Big drawback but he does have a strong ability. His biggest threat is himself. But if there’s a Superman out there that can counter that then idk my character in my series can be defeated through I made sure of that. And no I’m not a Superman hater I think Superman is pretty cool character.
Even one the creator of 1 punch man said that he would rate that Saitama would have trouble fighting Superman period eventually he would probably win but that's only if Superman doesn't finish the fight right that in there. Plus this also the fact that Superman can fly. Saitama can't
Isn’t siatama a gag character design not to loose? That his whole character, so going by this, Superman would loose, logical. Unless they make Superman into a gag character, it not going to a fight
@@Weanerds "Gag" characters don't have to be "gaggy" 24/7. Tom and Jerry are cartoons - once in a blue moon, there's a heart warming, or tragic story mixed in. Doesn't mean they're not still funny, silly cartoons. If you're going to base wins and losses off of just feats, then Batman would beat Saitama handedly, or Green Lantern, or just about any side other character in DC/Marvel if you dig deep enough. It's why people base future results on previous experiences - Saitama is unbeaten and undamaged (no, he's not damaged vs Boros, just a dirty SOB), Supes has died. Same argument for Goku.
Even if he is a gag character(even tho he isnt), we got characters like cosmic armour superman who can even manipulate the plot and characters like milkman superman exists which I think is a bit too overkill even for the anime verse
@@CarbonizedSoda that's fine. His power scaling is always enough. So it really doesn't matter what feats other characters have done. His power scales beyond whatever they have, infinitely.
@@rebewlrak very well said, they said some false stuff about saitama in the video, like when they talked about his durability or IQ. Okay we havent really seen saitamas full power but his power is infinite and apparently he has to fight someone stronger than him to scale higher which means if superman messes around or doesnt think he should kill saitama hes just gonna like flick him and then saitamas body will exponentially grow in power to start growing higher than super man which means one punch from superman would kill saitama if he really tried with that punch but if he activates saitamas infinite scailing ability it would become a draw
@@whitejack9032 Saitama has no limiter. So he has limitless potential. The problem is that to grow he still needs to fight or train with something that pushes him to the current heights he has so he can go higher. Growing exponentially If an enemy is already 100billion times stronger than him and can one shot him, he won't be able to do anything. He needs to take hits that make him feel pain and punch without the enemy dying from his strongest hits for him to grow.
@@etheriousnatsudragneel5835 No mate, then you don’t understand saitama. Saitama has no limiter aka no limit to his power, which basically means he can always punch as hard as the plot needs him to. He doesn’t start the fight weak then grows stronger. thats a misconception.
Man, people really forget (or are unaware) of Saitama's crazy exponential growth whenever he experiences an upsurge in emotion. Yes, he might be weak in comparison. But he can easily catch up to become equal in strength and eventually surpass Superman. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but all sources I've googled say Superman gains his power from the Sun. His power is defined by resources (which is definitely finite). But Saitama will always grow exponentially no matter what. TDLR: Saitama can only be defeated if he gets one shotted. Otherwise, he's going to eventually surpass his opponent.
Not really something people don’t realize is saitama can get worn out so his punches would do nothing to Superman but Superman’s punches would hurt saitama if he used same strength

He wouldn’t have enough time to grow, Supes’ stats just outweigh his too much And even then, Saitama wouldn’t be the only adaptive fighter Clark has ever fought
I really want to put all these superman comic feats on the live action henry cavill superman. Tsk (sigh) i want powerscalers & debaters to use calcs using DCEU superman. Sadly, this will never happen. david corenswet should step up.
Saitama just gets stronger with every punch, and the growth in strength correlates to his opponent's strength. If they're stronger than him, it only takes a punch to become the stronger one. If Saitama isn't immediately destroyed, he scales, and ends up destroying Superman.
It’s never been shown, stated, or implied that it’s based off of how strong his opponent is.. it’s just a fact that Saitama gets one tapped by someone like Superman
The problem with DC fans is they always cherry pick feats across multiple versions of there favorite superhero. On top of that the bias has always been there too. Maybe try to be more consistent or stick to 1 writer then maaybe your argument will be somewhat convincing. Either way, you're comparing a washed up character multiple writers try so hard to juice up to a character from a single universe written by a single man as a hobby that's full of inconsistencies anyway. you'll never know.
It’s base Superman, we’re taking feats from all base Superman comics, it makes sense how these most anime/ manga characters loses to Superman because they only have one writer. While we’re scaling Saitama to his strongest, if we stick to one writer we can’t scale Superman to his strongest which would be unfair.
Lol the last 3 recent versions of supes has now been merged into one so they're all the same character with same feats. And this guy heavily downplayed supes. Supes oneshots
Yeah but one punch man power is that if ever meets someone stronger then him he becomes the same level of them and becomes more powerful as the fight goes on until his opponent dies
@@kesleyjohnston6086 Well. No. That's not his power. Saitama's 'gag' is presenting a protagonist at the end of their arc at the beginning of the story. Nowhere does it say that he just gets stronger. If anything, Saitma himself has already said he's as strong as he'll ever be. Which happens to be substantially less powerful than Superman.
What makes superman vs Saitama an unfair match? Saitama. Saitama makes it an unfair match. His plot armor is fuck you, and get fucked. Literally. His super power is being too damn overpowered.
that’s quite literally impossible in this situation😭 Superman’s existence lies on a higher plane of dimensionality than basically all of OPM, with feats such as tanking Darkseid’s omega beams and sealing a rift in the multiverse make him above the very limits of the OPMverse Saitama’s best fest would get him to, maybe universal, at best Supes has been above that for a long time lol
To me superman has the same problem goku has now thanks to super, where his power and feats are to inconsistent. To properly scale him because what version of superman is Saitama going to fight? Superman isn't always showing those feats because if he did there would be no challenge for him and there would be no need for the justice league or and other heros in the DC universe. Just like how Saitama is a gag character ment to always be stronger then anyone he fights, superman is a plot character made to only be as strong or as weak as the plot needs him to be. Another weakness he shared with Goku in a fight against Saitama is he always holds back he never starts a fight going all out which would give Saitama with his ability to grow stronger then who ever he is fighting a change to scale up to and even past his peak power.... your acting like superman at his strongest would just walk up put all his power in one hit and end the fight he wouldn't and that would be the number one reason why he would lose.
@QuantumEigenstateDevice what's your agreement for saying that? Unlike Saitama it's not like he has never lost in DC before. He isn't unbeatable because he isn't undefeated. Saitama on the other hand is undefeated.
@QuantumEigenstateDevice ok and through most of his history superman hasn't even shown to be planetary if you wantvto go there. The feats you want to talk about for him beating Saitama are few and far between in his long run as a DC character. Most versions of him would get owned by Saitama or Goku. And in the case of Saitama like I already stated, the versions of him that could beat Saitama have the flaw of not going all out from the start which would give Saitama a chance to catch up and surpass his. Since no version of superman has ever truly been stated to be limitless. The universe they was in just wasn't able to test his limits.
@QuantumEigenstateDevice sorry but you are wrong, avarage superman isn't even planetary, saiyan sauga Nippa was showing off the same feats and power as avarage superman at the start of dragon ball z. And avarage superman isn't almost destroying Jupiter with a sneeze, or traveling from the sun to earth in seconds with the force from a farther. And it only took Saitama a phew mins fighting someone almost as powerful as him to become that powerful. Avarage superman isn't keeping up with that growth rate. Avarage superman would get one punched by Saitama or Goku.
@QuantumEigenstateDevice also not only is superman the most overrated and over estimated superhero ever but you saying avarage superman is universal or multi universal shows how little you actually know about superman. Superman is powered by the yellow sun and loses his power when there is no yellow sun around so explain to me how he can be universal or multi universal when he loses his power in deferent parts of the universe. He has to have a special suit to travel in space and to deferent planets. A weakness the other two don't have. Also saying someone is planetary or universal or what ever is a representation of what they could destroy if they used there full power. What avarage superman move or power is superman going to use to destroy a entire universe? He would barely be able to destroy a planet. It is stated in early dragon ball that it only takes a power level of 300 to destroy a planet the size of earth. Something even the weakest fighters in DragonBall can do with a ki blast. And again Saitama destroyed a moon with a serous flip and almost destroyed Jupiter with a sneeze. Name one time avarage superman showed a feat even close to that. If superman was actually anywhere near as powerful as you think he is he would of never lost to or had his butt kick by the whole list of people he has lost to or get beat up by, like, Batman, lex, Darkseid, doomsday, black adam, Shazam, wonder woman, bazaro, a random ki master....just to name a phew...again you can't say someone is the strongest fictional character when he isn't even the strongest in his universe and holds so many L's. Even so I keep saying Goku could beat him after DragonBall Super that's the same argument I use against the Goku or Saitama debate. Goku has lost almost every fight in super Saitama currently holds no L's. And is the strongest in his universe.
@QuantumEigenstateDevice I think your the delusional one. And getting killed by doomsday isn't holding back... stop high balling superman....you ever seen the meme where superman is all beat up and his suit is all ripped up and Yamaha is laying on the ground, and superman is like I did it I finally beat Goku and they show someone tell him that was Yamaha? That's how a real fight would go superman would struggle to beat Yamaha let alone anyone else. And anyone that thinks otherwise is delusional...and lastly of course he has more W's then both of them combined he has been around atleast 60 years longer and had had more main stream representation in the form of movies and multiple shows. And still with all of that you people that cheer for superman still struggle to find feats on his to compare to anything goku and Saitama are doing. You have to resort to superman prime one of the most powerful versions of superman that spent thousands of years in the sun absorbing its energy to even find any argument for him being able to match or surpass there feats.

We appreciate this a lot as we were extremely busy with school and our sports. We love comics and manga so this channel is like a place where we can nerd out. It might not look like much but this video took over 3 weeks to complete, thank you for this comment ❤️.
@@Weanerds yo this video was pretty good but it feels outdated despite being so new to feats that you missed for Saitama
I cant speak on superman's part because I haven't read the comics but Saitama was able to calculate the amount of force needed to jump back to earth as fast as possible without piercing Boros ship and destroying earth without knowing what kind of material Boros ship was
he also was able to copy one of Garous moves in their fight when he karate chopped him on the neck like how Garou did to sage centisomething
he also copied the time travel feat which needs to be performed on the subatomic level with particles and anti-particles which would require some fast intellect and knowledge to do in seconds like how Saitama did and they didn't talk or anything while Garou was turning to salt he just mimicked Garou and was able to accomplish a feat Garou couldn't even do who was a battle genius that was gifted with somewhat nigh-omnipotence from god.
DURABILITY feats he survived gamma ray bursts nuclear fission attacks punches that had the equivalent power of stars (from when they blasted that hole in space which means that individually at the bare minimum they have the power to destroy solar systems or more and they was growing after they did this P.S there's most definitely more feats that I missed but I'm too lazy to try and remember them so he most likely has more feats)
ABILITY wise his toolkit is mainly just passive buffs and abilities like his resistances to attacks to attacks that nullify immunity
he has resistance to radiation on multiple different scales along with the fact that he accrues resistances to things he interacts with for the first time almost instantly like how he thought the lava was hot when he stepped into it and then was completely fine with it in seconds
MENTALLY he has withstood attacks from one of the most powerful psychics in the verse Tatsumaki who thought that he was heavy and she couldn't even affect him much which is why she resorted to throwing rocks at him the whole time and generally trying to avoid moving him telekinetically
his ability to grow is interesting since its connected to his emotions but affects all his attributes basically meaning if he was enjoying a fight for long enough he could essentially just ascend into godhood
this ability is pretty much metalbats but on steroids (its called fighting spirit btw or something like that) which worked when he took damage.
CONCLUSION overall though I still think Saitama loses but I just like to point out feats for characters that I know of so as to provide overlooked knowledge to people
I still maybe forgetting some of his feats but this list is already way too long but I welcome any superman enthusiasts to provide some of his feats and some powerscalers to come and do some equations for these feats.
It is really simple.
he said infinite potential, inf potential leads to inf power
superman also has infinite potential
@@lament3178 Yeah except he has to wait in a Sun for a few years to reach it, Saitama just has to use some effort.

İf i would compare i would use anime and dceu superman because in comic writers really making all characters overpowered
As far as I've been lead to believe (I believe from the mangaka himself) Saitma's 'gag' is that he is a character at the end of his arc being plonked into the beginning of the story, which is why he has been bodying everyone thus far.

The reason why one translation says hyperspace and one says subspace is because the same Japanese word is used for both.
jlearn.net/dictionary/亜空間
The technicality over which word is supposed to be used doesn't matter in the original language. This term is often used in science fiction and fantasy contexts to refer to spaces or realms that exist between or beyond the usual dimensions of reality."
In any case, they're clearly holes in space-time linking two different places in 3D space.

@@thisguy3500 It wasn't a Garou's observation, it was the omniscient narrator that states the fact that Saitama was in fact growing exponentially.

Saitama does not need to lose to grow. He can just grow AS he battles.
The thing with Saitama tho, is that it wouldn't be absurd if he simply won no effort. I'll elaborate:
You know...

Ignore the trolls I love what you saying

@@Weanerds galaxy is a highball, universal is wank, and as you said the growth doesn’t matter when the power gap is so massive

Superman has also fought “gods” and also took attacks from infinity, we explained it in the video.
@@Weanerds lol that was quick. I tease I just like Saitama more than Superman. We'll have to agree to disagree on our hypothetical fight between two gods 🤣
@@cdurkinz All good bro. At the end of the day it's all for fun, and yeah agree to disagree.
@@Weanerds just gonna say Saitama grew thousands of times stronger in those milliseconds of the fight with him and garou
"Superman needs as strong he needs to be"
-Dc comics writer
Plus, his strength increases exponentially with the solar energy he absorbs.
The Cosmic Armor Superman (plot armor) vs. Saitama's scalability (plot armor). Is unfair. Is just to enjoy to talk about it, there is no answer.

Isn’t siatama a gag character design not to loose? That his whole character, so going by this, Superman would loose, logical. Unless they make Superman into a gag character, it not going to a fight
We mentioned this at the end of the video.
I don't really understand the point of comparing comedic characters to serious characters, one follows the rules and occasionally break a few either because of a certain ability (Deku's gearshift ignoring inertia for instance) or because they are too op, other breaks them because he felt like doing so, for no particular reason at all.
This is 100% possible if Superman does decide to not finish the fight and mess around.

Superman is so broken that batman can kill him ...wait wtf that doesn't sound right?
Because Batman is considered to be the smartest human on earth in many iterations and has studied Superman for years and used kryptonite.
Saitama just gets stronger with every punch, and the growth in strength correlates to his opponent's strength. If they're stronger than him, it only takes a punch to become the stronger one. If Saitama isn't immediately destroyed, he scales, and ends up destroying Superman.
In your dreams, kid. Superman can beat doomsday, who is literally the concept of doom bruh. 😂😂😂
Superman has already beaten someone like that
Doomsday literary does the same and even til he is stronger than new gods true forms, Saitama aint shit
NO ONE UNDERSTANDS THAT
@@kesleyjohnston6086 Well.

@@deadmanlyndon no lmao, Saitama is bounded by his cosmology, which is again, below Superman as a whole
