How to Reupholster a Bar Stool or Round Chair Seat

Recovering or reupholstering a bar stool or a round chair seat is often done with vinyl. Upholstering round corners can be challenging especially with vinyl. Choosing 4 way vinyl for the material will make it easier if this is the first time you are trying upholstery.

You are welcome. There are several internet foam suppliers where you can get good quality foam. The new foam I bought is better quality than the original. The four way stretch vinyl was the way easier to work with. Sailrite had a good selection, though a lot of it was back ordered. I'd guess it is another pandemic supply chain problem.

Thanks for the compliment, Mario. It took some work to get new vinyl on the chairs. Really, you just have to be willing to learn, willing to try, willing to accept some failure and to try new approaches until there is success. With that approach and enough time you can do most things.
