Great Job!!I Have a tip.... a little late for you, but for your viewers, being a former employer for office furniture manufacturer. The leather or vinyl would be warmed (perhaps outside in sun for a while) prior to stapling, it helps the flex of material to form around the corners.
It would have been so many more staples to remove (haha). The old fabric was sooo thin that it didn't impact the in material at all. It worked out well. Have a great day!
That is a great question, and my answer is that it comes down to personal preference. I would use a density foam pad but just like a mattress they each may have a different feel. If you want soft, go with a lower density, or firm, go with a higher density. It can be layered depending on how thick you want the padding to be, and cut to fit the shape of the chair. I hope that helps!
Hello, I did not install vents, but due to how the material is attached below the seat, there is plenty of space for air transfer. When you sit there isn't a delay of air escaping the seat. It's instantaneous and feels very soft when you sit. In hind sight, I don't think the vents are necessary. Thanks for asking! Have a great day!
Hi Deborah! Sorry to hear that my pace was a little too fast. Just curious, what project are you trying to do? Maybe I can help answer some of your questions. I hope you have a great day!

Thank you and that is a great suggestion! I'm going to pin this comment.
Nicely done!
Thanks!
Looks amazing!
Thanks!
Hey did you see that simple machine Jay made with the two screwdrivers? Great project. Those chairs are not Lawrence Proof.
Lol, it's all about the physics! No, they are not Lawrence Proof, but they are closer to Lawrence Proof than they were!
Very surprised that you didn't remove the old fabric.

Whats the best padding to use if you need to repad the chairs?

Hi, Did the seats have any sort of vent for air to escape to vinyl? Did you use them? Do you see a need for it if you didn't? Thanks

@@HandzforHire Thank you for responding!
@@cathleenoconnell1101 My pleasure! Good luck if you decide to do a similar project.
Where did you get your fabric ?
I purchased it at Joann Fabrics
I would sew a band to that instead of using cording that seemed very pointless and a waste of money
Is it showing me a beginner how to do this? You’re just rushing through some thing going to speed of light and this is useless to me.
