I don't know why, but I cried too! I don't even like running and despite of that this is so inspiring! She has inspired me a lot through the pandemic, and it makes me very happy that she's growing this much :)
I literally bursted into tears in the middle of the office, seeing you run the Marathon and cross the finish line made me so happy after following the whole journey ❤️ CONGRATS HOLLY YOU DID IT!!! Thanks for taking us along ❤️
Can't believe I cried watching a complete stranger who I've never met or talked to, run a marathon. So proud of you, you're honestly so inspiring! Congratulations!!
I forced my sister to watch this video with me. And we laughed, we smiled, we were so happy for you Holly! You are the greatest person ever, you did it. YOU did it!
Congratulations Holly! I've been following your training journey and saw you at mile 25 with a big smile on your face - your journey has been so inspiring and you should be so so proud! :) Such an amazing achievement!
Congrats, so glad you enjoyed it! As someone who struggled with achilles problems for about 4 years, please don’t make the mistake I did thinking that I could rehab it while exercising. For 4 years I had an achilles injury on and off - did physio and proper rehab but it kept coming back. The only thing that actually healed it was 4 weeks of absolutely no exercise and icing it three times a day. I wish I had known that at the beginning, it would have saved me so much frustration!
This is the true mark of a champion. Even through pain, even through agony, you never gave up and kept going to the end. If I could reach across the Atlantic, I'd give you a hug. Well done.
Congratulations Holly!!! I (like many of us here) have followed you on your journey. And I just couldn’t stop smiling watching this vlog! So proud of you!!!
You are good, Holly. You are really really good. I am 20 years older than you, but YOU are my inspiration in many ways. In studying - thanks to your example, I am going to go back to uni to get my other degree - even at my age, and I do exercise on a daily basis. You are keeping my brain and health up, actually. So thank you so so much. I bet you don't even realize how big an impact you make on many people (apparently of different ages, even though I feel like being 25 and not 42). Greetings from the Czech Republic.
Congratulations holly on running the marathon! I'm so proud of you!! And I don't know why but I was so emotional watching this vlog and and teared up🥺🤍 So happy for you tho! You are amazing!!
Congratulations. Will you do a marathon q&a video? I think that would be really cool if people were able to ask questions on your community tab/Instagram.
I crying so proud as the people cheered for you. Loving the support from ur family omg. How everyone showed up to love and cheer u on. U r an inspiration Holly. Thank you for sharing ur life.
Congratulations!!! So proud of you and now you really know your limits, you can do anything! How lovely that the paramedics and physio was so helpful and kind. Glad you managed to wobble strut your medal around London and I hope you don’t take it off for a long time. Take care and wishing you all the best for your recovery. Lots of love from Australia. 🐨
HOLLY IM SO PROUD OF YOU. IM SO TOUCHED BY YOUR EFFORTS AND HOW MUCH LOVE YOU PUT INTO THIS. YOU ARE AMAZING!!! ❤️❤️❤️ The fact that you didn't pull out of the race despite your injury 😭😭😭 love that your family was so supportive and proud of you as well
I cannot be the only one feeling super proud! Congratulations Holly YOU DID IT! I even shed a tear cos it's just so emotional. It was such a pleasure to follow you through this, I am sure whatever comes next will be great. Now get some rest xx
i think the best feeling is when you hear the crowds around you cheering you on!! Theres such a great sense of community among runners and its why Ive been doing 5ks!!!
I was surprised at my emotions watching this. I am so proud of you, Holly!! It felt like we were there with you, having watched your prepare for this race, and then seeing you actually out there doing it was awesome!! What a fantastic accomplishment!!! Way to go, Holly!!!
Watching some one I’ve never met, run in a marathon I will never compete in, finish it, was surprisingly emotional. Especially after your last video. 3hrs 37mins is incredible time with the type of injury you had. You’ve now got to stay off it for a couple of months, enjoy Christmas and get back to it in January.
You did great, you should be proud of yourself, completing the london marathon in 3hrs 37minutes with an injury is amazing, it shows that even with an injury you did not give up and kept going the whole time it was hurting that is a massive achievement. Again congrats and I hope you are proud of your achievement
Huge congratulations Holly!! Such an incredible achievement, can’t believe you ran it with an injury and also managed to film! I genuinely had tears in my eyes when you crossed that line, it made me emotional! Congratulations!!!!! 🥳🥳💚💚
I've only ever run a 10k race but it was one of the best experiences of my life! The feeling of community you get from being in the crowd is impossible to explain 🎆 massive congrats to you Holly!! Amazing feat, can't wait to run my own marathon some day ☺️
CONGRATULATIONS HOLLY!!!!!🥉 What a REMARKABLE TIME for your 1st ever marathon, especially with your achiles injury and filming and talking lol and what a truly gritty performance in not having stopped to walk even once!!! SO VERY PROUD OF YOU HOLLY and please know that you ARE OUR CHAMPION!!!👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 The first 20 miles looked like you were running the marathon in the midst of A NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY🎆🎆🎆😁 and then you quickly discovered what "HITTING THE WALL" means, but you toughed it out and finished!!! CONGRATS again on A JOB WELL DONE Holly, now give your achiles lots of rest and TLC
well done and even with an injury that was a great time, loads more in you for the next Marathon rest up now and get that Achilles sorted I inured mine and I missed months of proper running
That marathon was super amazing, Holly! I am so proud of you!😊💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍. The city of London loves you so much! Congratulations!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💙💙💙💙💙🇬🇧💜💜💜💜💜💜👍
Amazing achievement! Really impressive time too!! My aim was sub 4, but I cramped up and limp/hobbled/ran the final 5 miles finishing in 04:06:28. The atmosphere was just incredible wasn’t it! Congrats again!
Same. Did my first marathon in Hamburg last month with the aim to get in under 4 hours. Was on track until the last hour when I ran out of steam. Lost 10mins or more and finished 4:06. Still happy for a first time.
I’m literally crying proud tears. You are AMAZING, Holly! It’s been such a joy to follow your training journey to prepare for this. Love from Vancouver, Canada ❤️☺️
Well done Holly!! I feel so happy for you seeing this! You've been a big inspiration for me and your determination in life motivates me so much when I'm down. Congrats on such an achievement!
Congratulations Holly! You are inspiring for runners like me who’ve lost their running mindset over the years. But I got so emotional seeing this and miss this part of life dearly! I wish you many many more great runs and hope I can join you at a marathon somewhere someday❤️
this video has such a powerful energy, I feel so positive about life now... watching all of them running with a motive, idk why this is so beautiful in a way
Massive well done Hollie!!!! As a marathoner (and ultra-marathoner) myself this was the most awesome thing to watch! My mum ran it too so I went to spectate - the atmosphere was magical! 3 weeks ago I ran my second attempt at a 100km ultramarathon and completed it!! But similarly to you I ended my race in the medics tent, I collapsed three times after finishing and got rushed to hospital via ambulance... Turns out they found out I've had an underlying condition for a while so thankfully due to my utter exhaustion and having to do blood tests etc. we discovered it. This took me right back to being in that medical tent, I feel your pain aghh😂 so proud of you, it's been amazing following your journey! X
I cried so much watching you in the crowds! What a rollercoaster journey. I thought you wouldn't be able to do it and hoped you could let it go and not be too sad. But you did ittttt oh my! Powerful! Love seeing I wasn't the only one crying too, you've got a lovely audience too. What a ride, congratulations and more intense rest now! 😋 xx
