Yeah, wow. I have to join the ranks of the people who didn't know how moved this would make them? It did make me tear up. I've been watching Carrie since 2012, and I am genuinely overwhelmed seeing her accomplish such a difficult goal. I think it resonated especially because I'm trying to get up to 10k atm and having a really hard time of it.
Just ran as far as you can, and then add in half a kilometer increments. You will work your way up to 50 k and collect the metal at the end of the marathon. Keep going you'll get there.
I'm going to admit I teared up half way through, just seeing how far you have come since I started watching you 10-ish years ago, and how much you have pushed yourself to reach your goals with a smile...it's truly inspiring.
I’ve cried about 40 times watching this... anyone who’s done any physical challenge like this knows that overwhelm at various points... props to you Carrie, well done!
I didn't expect this to make me so emotional, but here I am, crying, only 8 minutes into the video. Well done Carrie! Such a huge achievement! I love how you chose a person or people to focus on for each mile. So beautiful and moving!! ♥
Currently sobbing into my pasta watching this vlog 🥺 I’m so proud of you as someone who was always the ‘big’ girl in PE and was told to not even try out for any dance teams or audition for anything this is so inspiring so much so that I have my first proper audition next Monday ❤️ you are amazing !
Anyone of any shape or size can run or do any kind of exercise! If I can get past the finish line of a marathon, something I genuinely never thought I'd be able to do, you can do anything you set your mind to!
I was emotional this whole vlog, just hearing each person you were thinking of, the clip of you spotting Ollie is the sweetest thing and I cried a lot! So incredibly proud of you !
Congratulations, Such an incredible achievement. I admire that you have committed to running knowing that it isn’t something you naturally are good at and you have worked hard and persevered to achieve a goal. True inspiration! Also you have managed to film, edit and upload a vlog to go along with it in just over 24 hours, you are superwomen 💪🏻
Yeah I think that’s why it’s my biggest achievement. Because none of it has felt easy or natural and I kept going anyway. I’m hugely proud of that. Thanks so much for the love and support! I really appreciate it! ❤️
I watched this video the day it was posted. The next morning I woke up early and started a Couch To 5k program. I'm now in week 3 of my marathon training after signing up for the Portland marathon this October. I didn't have a great running day today and it's lovely to come back and become inspire all over again. Thank you Carrie.
This made me really emotional. I ran the virtual marathon yesterday (my 1st marathon) after being inspired by you and its still not set in. I spend the second half wondering how you were getting on (it made for a good distraction from my aching feet) and as soon as I could tracked you for the end. You did amazing and should be really proud. You're a real inspiration!
Congrats on the virtual! I think you had it tougher because it was the crowds that got me through most of yesterday and not having them would have made it really hard! Well done you for getting through it!
Carrie I cried EVERY time you dedicated a mile to somone. Look how far you’ve come!!!!!! You’re so lucky to have all of those amazing people in your life. You’re boss x
I am a sobbing mess watching this 😭is it weird to be proud of someone you don’t even know? Well, in this instance I don’t care if it’s weird! Proud of you Carrie and everything you’ve achieved - what an amazing woman you are ♥️
Not only was I starting to tear up after a minute, but I fully blubbed when you found Oli in the crowd! After following your journey for 10-ish years and seeing you overcome something like this (for two incredible charities I might add!) is such an inspiration! You should feel so so SO proud of what you achieved!
Not me crying with you at every mile watching this video….. so so proud of you Carrie!! So inspirational!! My brother asked me to do a local half marathon yesterday, and I’m now debating it because of you!! 💛
Huge congratulations, Carrie - what a massive achievement! And so brilliant to see you tackle something that doesn’t come naturally to you and absolutely nail it. We can all learn something from that. xx
Just sobbed all my moisturiser off haha! Amazing. Well done! I can't imagine how you did it. I'm not a runner, have arthritis and asthma and I've run 3 half marathons at home this past year and a marathon just seems incomprehensible! Urgh the bit with Ollie just pushed me over the edge. Every single person there is such an inspiration, congratulations to all the runners!!!
I got all teared up with you at the 18 mile mark and then seeing the clip of Ollie showing up got me choked up again! You've done amazingly Carrie well done
I’m crying so much 😭 especially when you got choked up mentioning Scott and then the clip of you seeing Oliver 🥺 you do so damn well and I loved all the Carrie cheers!
Joining the party of people who teared up and feel proud of you (if its okay to feel proud of someone you don't actually know?) Carrie, your such an incredible person in all that you do- not just in your ability to run a freaking marathon, but your heart throughout it all, and how much you can tell you care about raising money for papyrus. Thank you for being such an incredible role model to so many of us growing up, and for continuing to be such an incredible person and role model for so many more
Huge congratulations on this achievement Carrie, as a 28 year old I've been here since my early teens and I can't help but feel incredibly emotional and weepy watching this. Good on you!
I’m also joining the crowd who teared up at this video: I didn’t expect to be crying on a Wednesday morning while eating breaky, but here we are. Congratulations, Carrie!! So proud of you! I also went for a run yesterday, a grand total of 10 minutes, but I only started my running journey because of you, thank you for being my inspiration! You deserve a magnificent rest 💕 (and it was so nice to see Johnny! Missed that man and his beautiful accent)
Gosh, listening to Carrie list all the people she was running for made me cry so much. Holy cow…took me by surprise. Congrats Carrie! So proud of you. 💜💜💜
How you managed to do that is beyond me. But I am so proud of you. You DID THAT. I don't run, I don't even walk much because of my ankle, but following your journey over the last few years has made me want to pick up running/walking myself. I've started with longer walks and going to the gym first because I currently could not run 100 meters if I tried, but I'll see how far I can get! Thank you, Carrie. 🧡
I cried through this whole vlog, I don’t even know why I was just so impressed! Every mile when you said who you ran it for, I cried even more! As a person in a massive health struggle at the minute I am in awe of what bodies can do and the range of things they are capable of. If people can run a marathon I can start to get better.
Seeing you get all choked up about dedicating every mile was just amazing. It’s brilliant how much love one person can have for some many others. You’ve filled your life with wonderful souls, and they couldn’t be more proud.
CARRIE! you did it!!!!!!! I can't believe how long ago that bucket list video was - I remember watching it and I am just so proud of how far you've come! well done!!!!!
Congratulations Carrie!!💗 This is honestly so inspirational (I’m actually feeling slightly emotional to be honest 🥺) I’m so proud and really happy for you! What an amazing achievement for such an amazing person! x
I’m sat on my lunch break at my desk at work and absolutely sobbing with pride into my sandwich! Well done Carrie! I’ve been watching you since I was 13 years old (I’m now 22) and to see you complete the marathon just really made me proud and incredibly sentimental. Thanks for always being my internet big sister, and a huge congrats on running the London Marathon!
CARRIE, my heart burst while watching this. I'm so proud of you for this absolutely incredible accomplishment!! Extremely well done...hope you've been able to treat yourself after!
Congratulations Carrie. So happy for you and proud of you. I loved watching this and got very emotional watching. It brought back memories from when I have done the London marathon 4 times. And the many times I have watched my Dad and brother run it too. Well done Carrie it's a wonderful achievement.
Congratulations Carrie ! The emotion and purpose of each mile could be felt. Oliver being there as a surprise got me really emotional. Wonderful done ✅ lots of love
Wow what an achievement! I got really emotional watching this especially when you saw Oliver! You didn't just complete the marathon you absolutely smashed it! No idea how you looked so good and able to speak to the camera running a flipping marathon! Well done x❤
I think my favourite part is random people cheering on random people 🥲 coming together to support someone you don’t even know, my heart. I’ve been a spectator before and you really do want everyone to smash it ❤️
Carrie you are a true inspiration. To attempt something that is outside of your comfort zone and succeed at it 100% even doing a show at the same time. I wish I could donate more to help you on your way. Well done again.
Carrie, we lost my lovely brother to suicide in 2015. He was only 25. As a family, we have always chosen to donate to Papyrus. So just a massive thank you and well done. What an incredible achievement.
CARRIE!!! You had me in absolute tears! I loved that you shared who you dedicated each mile to! When you showed Oliver surprising you I absolutely lost it! You are such a beautiful person inside and out! Congratulations on meeting this goal! Keep being amazing and sharing your beautiful self with the world!❤
This made me strangely emotional, like tears were shed. I'm so proud of you!!! I remember the bucket list video coming out and watching you grow and be able to tick this off the bucket list has been an honour 🧡🧡
Wow this made me more emotional than I thought it would, all the happy tears! Been saying I’ll run the marathon one day and you’ve truly inspired me⭐️💖
This was so beautiful to watch. Congratulations to you, Carrie!! You've inspired me to get back into running. Haven't run a race since 2014 and now I want to run a marathon. (I also cried like 4 times)
I remember watching that video of your bucket list and look at you now!! I cried silent tears the whole time you were running hahah it’s just so moving, especially watching you thank/dedicate every mile to someone. What a wonderful accomplishment you’ve made!
This is so incredibly cool, you’re such a wonderful role model for young people everywhere, evidence that if you put your mind to it and put in lots of effort, you can complete your goals and achieve your dreams! So proud Carrie!
Thanks so much! It was tough and I didn't feel like a powerhouse about 3/4 of the way through that run but I made it to the end and that's what matters!
Tears of joy… pride…and for reasons that I don’t yet understand here… you’re amazing in so many ways… this is just one more! Congrats to you! What a joy you are to your family.. friends.. the world in general!!! Amazing!!👍🏻♥️💙
Absolutely beyond chuffed for you - to have followed you for so many years and watch you achieve your goals makes me feel so warm and unbelievably proud. Such an inspiration simply because you're you. Well done Carrie, you exceptional human x
Definitely cried throughout this entire video, especially when Oli came to support you! I love all the dedications for every mile as well. Congratulations!!!
I kept tearing up through that! You smashed it Carrie! Definitely something to be proud of. Seeing your reaction to Oliver, was so heartfelt and made me so emotional ❤️❤️❤️
Wow. I don't know why this video made me emotional, too. Just you, running for all these incredible people and it's so beautiful. I'm so ridiculously proud of you for doing this. You are simply incredible
I cried my eyes out watching this!! Both of these causes are so close to my heart, so thank you for championing them. COULDN’T be prouder of you Carrie ❤️
So happy for you Carrie. When I saw that video of you and Oliver and just the pure support and love, I got emotional. So happy for how far you have come. You did it! Congratulations!
I tracked you the whole way on the app, Carrie! I literally started crying watching this at mile 1. You are an inspiration lovely lady! Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️ xxxxxx
I got so emotional watching this. I can vividly remember the Q and A video from 2015 and it hit me like a brick: I've been watching you for more than 6 years. Thank you Carrie for being such an inspiration, for being there when I was feeling low and giving me hope with your unshattering optimism. Your videos have always been a safe haven to go back to. It feels like you are my wonderful, talented, beautiful, warm-hearted and generous UA-cam-Cousin. You are amazing, big congratulations!! xxx
Chills, absolute chills throughout this entire video. I cried every time you cried, this was so emotional and inspirational. I watched your instagram story of you seeing Oli the day of over and over and over, its so touching. This is amazing Carrie, congratulations.

I couldn't stop crying! She has done so well!
I teared up during the whole thing! It's amazing what she did, so proud :D
I came here to express the same sentiments, but I could not have said it better! It’s amazing to feel so proud for Carrie!
Anyone else start crying when Carrie saw Oliver and started crying? So sweet that he was able to make an appearance
Oliver shouting your name more and more getting worried you were gonna go past without seeing him! Well done Carrie-amazing achievement!
I'm not in tears watching this, you are! Congrats Carrie!!!
I’ve cried about 40 times watching this... anyone who’s done any physical challenge like this knows that overwhelm at various points... props to you Carrie, well done!

As she started talking about Scott I downright lost it. I haven’t seen my best friend in a while and it hit HARD

you are a ROCKSTAR. I love that Oliver got lumped with Edgar haha.
If you think Oliver is being lumped with Edgar then you've severely underestimated how much I love my cat...!
My gosh!! Just the first 25 seconds was emotional for me: being able to watch you change and grow into yourself, your power has been so wonderful!
Huge congratulations, Carrie - what a massive achievement! And so brilliant to see you tackle something that doesn’t come naturally to you and absolutely nail it. We can all learn something from that. xx
I wouldn’t say I nailed it but I definitely completed it even when it got tough and that is more than enough of a win for me! Thank you so much! ❤️
